LaRue Coy
FRANKFORT — LaRue Coy, 94, of Frankfort, formerly of Bowling Green, died March 2, 2000, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
The Brooklyn native was a pilot, a retired airport manager, past president of Kentucky Flying Farmer and a member of the Quiet Birdmen, OX-5 Aviation Club and the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame.
He was a son of the late Monroe Coy and Mary Greathouse Coy.
Funeral was today at Church of the Good Shepherd, where he was a member, with burial in Threlkell Cemetery in Butler County.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Stephens Indian Mission Foundation, P.O. Box 278, St. Stephens, Wyo. 82524 or to the Kentucky Aviation Museum.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy East Coy; five daughters, Mary Margaret Cafego and Dorothy Brawner, both of Frankfort, Martha Snyder of Lexington, and Nancy Trumbo and Dr. Barbara Coy, both of Sarasota, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Charles W. Henry
Charles W. Henry, 78, of Bowling Green died at 4:14 a.m. March 4, 2000, at The Medical Center.
The Logan County native was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran, a retired master plumber and mechanical contractor, former owner of Bowling Green Plumbing and Heating, former Nashville Machine Inc. division manager and a former Hilltopper Athletic Foundation member and Little League Baseball coach.
He was a son of the late William Bryant Henry and Nancy Phalan Henry and husband of the late Katherine “Katie” Appling Henry.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Fairview No. 2 Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or College Heights Foundation Memorial Fund.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Henry of Gainesville, Ga., Berry Henry and Tony A. Henry, both of Bowling Green, and Terry Henry of Elizabethtown; a sister, Betty Henry of Bowling Green; and eight grandchildren.
Paul Hibbitt Jr.
Paul Sim “Toby” Hibbitt Jr., 50, of Bowling Green died at 4 a.m. March 5, 2000, in Oldham County.

FRANKLIN — Omie Gammons London, 77, of Franklin died at 12:48 p.m. March 4, 2000, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Macon County, Tenn., native was a homemaker and a charter member of Drakes Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Herman E. Gammons and Flora Cothron Gammons.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Crafton Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Wayne London of Franklin; three brothers, Bob Gammons of White House, Tenn., I.L. Gammons of Clarksville, Tenn., and Euell Gammons of Horse Cave; a sister, Maizell Jones of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Funeral for William Hubert Morse, 89, of North Little Rock, who died March 4, 2000, at a Sherwood nursing home, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home with burial in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Funeral home.
Local survivors include a son, Michael Morse of Bowling Green.
Pauline C. Wilburn
FRANKLIN — Pauline Cox Wilburn, 73, of Franklin died March 4, 2000, at her home.
The Macon County, Tenn., native was a retired Kendall Co. employee, a homemaker and a member of Drakes Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late W.W. Cox and Florence Oliver Cox and wife of the late Dillard Wilburn.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Crafton Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress at the Funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Deloise Adams of Franklin and Delaine Youpatoff of Owensboro; a sister, Irene Jones of Glasgow; and two grandchildren.
Emile H. Rice
MUNFORDVILLE — Emile Hernandez Rice, 28, of Elizabethtown died at 11:08 p.m. EDT April 8, 2000, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Glendale.
The Hardin County native was a Hardin Memorial Hospital stenographer.
He was a son of Clarence Rice of Munfordville and Ella Louise Alexander of Burkesville, who survive.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bearwallow Baptist Church with burial in Woodsonville Gardens.
Visitation is in progress at the Hawkins-Brooks Funeral Home.
Other survivors include his stepmother, JoAnn Rice of Munfordville; two brothers, Timothy Allen White of Las Vegas and Quincey Cornelius Rice of Elizabethtown; a sister, Chasticy Bouvier of Munfordville; paternal grandparents, William “Boots” Rice and Christine Rice of Horse Cave; and maternal grandmother, Annie Lee Alexander of Burkesville.
Helen K. Burke
RUSSELLVILLE — Helen Kate Burke, 70, of Russellville died March 9, 2000, at St. Thomas Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The Tennessee native was a daughter of the late George Bilyeu and Ora Cauley Bilyeu.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at Sanders Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, John Burke; three sons, Kerry Burke of Port Neches-Groves, Texas, Randy Loyd Burke of Nederland, Texas, and Danny Dale Burke of Russellville; three daughters, Wanda Davis and Lisa Mallory, both of Russellville, and Donna McGhee of Sour Lake, Texas; a brother, Owen Bilyeu of Russellville; a sister, Mary Hesson of Russellville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

FRANKLIN — Christine Lee, 82, of Franklin died March 8, 2000, at a Woodburn nursing home.
The Simpson County native was a homemaker.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gatewood-Burrus Funeral Home.
Survivors include several nephews.
Fannie R. Reynolds
Fannie Rippy Reynolds, 83, of Bowling Green died at 10:20 p.m. March 1, 2000, at a Bowling Green nursing home.
The Warren County native was a retired Union Underwear employee, a homemaker and a member of Martha’s Chapel General Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Jess Thornton and Susan Cooper Thornton and wife of the late Virgil Rippy and the late Webb Reynolds.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Whites Chapel Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to White Chapel Church Cemetery Fund.
Survivors include a son, Sammy Rippy of Alvaton; a sister, Carene Copas of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; seven great-stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

MORGANTOWN — Kathleen W. Colburn, 79, of Roundhill died March 9, 2000, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
The Butler County native was a homemaker and attended Leonard Oak Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Samuel G. Whittinghill and Mollie Renfrow Whittinghill and the wife of the late Herbert Colburn.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Chapel with burial in Whittinghill Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Colburn of Brownsville and Jerry Colburn of Roundhill; two daughters, Gwen Royal and Carolyn Seawright, both of Louisville; a sister, Geneva Blancett of Louisville; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Samuel W. Campbell
Samuel Webb Campbell, 70, of Bowling Green died at 4:12 p.m. March 9, 2000, at Greenview Regional Hospital.
The L’Anse, Mich., native was a retired Air Force officer, a retired public health sanitarian in Washtenaw County, Mich., and a member of Bowling Green Kiwanis Club Board of Directors, Big Guys Lady Topper Basketball Fan Club, past president of Cumberland Trace chapter of Retired Officers Association and a founding member of Bowling Green Emmaus Community.
He was a son of the late Judge Frank Clyde Campbell and Judge Mae Cosgrove Campbell.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Broadway United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the church. Hardy & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

BROWNSVILLE — Lenard Hogan, 77, of Brownsville died at 9:25 a.m. March 9, 2000, at his home.
The Ollie native was a B.F. Goodrich boiler operator and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Johnny Hogan and Corda Lee Lindsey Hogan.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Patton Funeral Home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Vonnie Sanders Hogan; a daughter, Linda Lindsey of Brownsville; six brothers, James Hogan and Elmer Hogan, both of Brownsville, Otha Hogan of Munfordville, Roy Hogan of Roundhill, and Virgil Hogan and Roma Hogan, both of Louisville; four sisters, Mima Jean Lindsey of Louisville, Nora Jane Frost of Indianapolis, Pearl Cherry of Corydon, Ind., and Oma White of Spencer, Ind.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
