Funeral services for Mary Rose Greenberg, 87, of Paducah will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rev. Henry Wieder will officiate and burial will be at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday June 9, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

Mrs. Greenberg died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at her residence.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and Lourdes Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Norman Greenberg; one daughter, Susan Crews of Gilbertsville; four sisters, Georgetta Higdon of Maple Mount, Pat Reitzel of Cape Girardeau, MO., Mary Eger of Phoenix and Frances O'Bryan of Paducah; one brother, Thomas Higdon of San Diego; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert David Greenberg; one sister; and two brothers. Her parents were Lawrence Henson Higdon and Mary Rose Coomes Hidgon.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or St. Thomas More Catholic Church Building Fund.

Robert Foster Threlkeld, Jr., 90, of Ledbetter died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at his residence.

Services for Mr. Threlkeld will be at Ohio Valley Baptist Church June 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Howard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery and visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday June 10, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

Mr. Threlkeld retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. He was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Robert Threlkeld of Lakeland, FL.; one sister, Laura Fiers of Ledbetter; one grandson, Stephen Craig Threlkeld of Birmingham, AL.; one great-granddaughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Threlkeld.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Bone Threlkeld; one sister; and four brothers. His parents were Robert Foster Threlkeld, Sr. and Laura Angeline Hollman Threlkeld.

Services for Mrs. Irene DeBoe, 83, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Thursday June 13, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Richard Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral home.

Mrs. DeBoe died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Mrs. DeBoe is survived by three sons, David DeBoe of Symsonia, Edward DeBoe of Marshall Co. and Wilford DeBoe of Paducah; two daughters, Phyllis Franklin of Paducah and Jewell Dean Reuther of Longview, TX.; two sisters, Imogene Caldwell of Paducah and Lillie Marrs of Paducah; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac DeBoe; one sister; three brothers; and one grandson. Her parents were Eurie & Rosa Rednour Knight.

Services for Lawrence "Jake" Long, 87, of Milburn, KY will be at 2:00 PM Friday June 14, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington. Eddie Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Milburn Cemetery. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM Thursday June 13, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.

Mr. Long died at 1:05 PM Tuesday June 11, 2002 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. He was a member of Sutton Lane Church of Christ in Mayfield.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Temple Long; two daughters, Mona Dunnell of Niceville, FL and Debra Cloud of Kerryville, TX; one son, Jimmy Long of Bardwell; three sisters, Frances Dodson of Cunningham, KY, Florence Pirtle of Chattanooga, TN, and Peggy Samuels of Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. His parents were John Long and Dixie Cumby Long.

Services for John David Rainey, 44, of Paducah will be at 2:00 PM Saturday June 15, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak. Wayne T. Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday June 14, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak.

Mr. Rainey died at 8:30 AM Wednesday June 12, 2002 at his home. He was self employed as a rental property manager and a member of Clements St. Church of Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Mary McDill Rainey of Paducah; three brothers, Gerald Harrison of Lone Oak, Larry Rainey of Lone Oak, and James Kenny Rainey of Reidland; and 10 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin York Rainey.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003.

Services for Mr. Louis H. Martin, 80 of Paducah, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday June 16, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Terry Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday June 15, 2002.

Mr. Martin died at 7 a.m. Thursday at his residence.

Mr. Martin was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center and expressions of sympathy may be made to the church. He was a chief engineer with Wisconsin Barge Lines.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Pickett Martin; one daughter, Pat Cooper of Barlow; two sons, Don Martin of Lone Oak and Herb Martin of Reidland; four grandchildren, Lori Ann Wurth of Ashland, TN., David Martin of Paducah, Michael Cooper of Barlow and Michele Martin of Reidland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard William & Mary Elizabeth Majors Martin; two sisters; four brothers; and two half brothers.

Services for Almetta Cullen Wilkerson, 85, of Denver, CO, formerly of Paducah, will be at 2:00 PM Friday August 16, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak. Dr. Willis Henson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Thursday August 15, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak.

Mrs. Wilkerson died at 12:34 AM Saturday August 10, 2002 at her home. She was a 60 year member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and was a retired bookkeeper from Petter Supply Co., Forest Hills Housing, and Paducah Woodenware.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann O'Leary of Bailey, CO and Winetta W. Birdwell of Paris, KY; two sisters, LaRue King and Lovette Hawes, both of Lone Oak; three grandchildren, Adam O'Leary, Kelly Bailey, and Allison Orio, all of Denver, CO; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Winston Wilkerson. Her parents were Byron Cullen and Dula Clark Cullen.

Services for Mary Alice Davis, 64, of Cunningham will be at 1:00 PM Friday August 16, 2002 at Rickman Road Baptist Church in West Paducah. The Rev. Stan Durrett and the Rev. Kent Boykin will officiate. Burial will be in Mayfield Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Thursday August 15, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell and after 11:00 AM Friday August 16, 2002 at the church.

Mrs. Davis died at 2:40 AM Wednesday August 14, 2002 at her home. She was a member of Rickman Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Bill Davis; two daughters, Vickie Boykin of Paducah and Renee Hays of Melber; one son, Randy Davis of Milburn; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Her parents were Robert Hobbs and Fannie Opal Cope Hobbs.

Services for Mrs. Sally June Griggs Collins, 61, of Ledbetter, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday August 18, 2002 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday August 17, 2002 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Collins died at 6:07 p.m. Thursday at her residence.

Mrs. Collins was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church where expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory. Also expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Livingston Co. Home Health.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Collins; three sons, Barry Collins of West Paducah, Gary Collins and Terry Collins both of Paducah; one brother, Steven Griggs of Ledbetter; one sister, Judy Wallace of Paducah; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by one daughter, Lou Ann Collins; one brother; and her parents, Gillmer Hardin and Ivy Lucille Williams Griggs.

Mrs. Ruth Lorine Helton

Mrs. Ruth Lorine Helton, 74, of Boaz passed away Friday at Western Baptist Hospital. Services for Mrs. Helton will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Milner & Orr of Paducah. Bishop Erby Reed and Elder Scott Sallee will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Graves County.

Mrs. Helton was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Paducah.

She is survived by 6 daughters, Mary Hendrickson and Wilma Williams of Paducah, Ruth Cunningham of Ledbetter, Anna French of Viola, Teresa West of Symsonia, and DeAnna Pearson of Oak Level; 6 sons, Bobby Helton, Alfred Helton, and Henry Helton of Paducah, William Helton of Boaz, Jerry Helton of Metropolis, Illinois, and Milton Helton of Cottage Grove, Tennessee; one sister, Euvema Freeman of Paducah; 30 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 10 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Helton. Her parents were Gobel and Elizabeth Washburn Faughn.

Mrs. Sinclair died at 1:28 PM at Western Baptist Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah and had formerly worked as a cook and maid for Mid South Towing Co.

She is survived by one daughter, Jill Webb of Jackson, TN; one son, Greg Sinclair of South Fulton, TN; four grandchildren, Crystal Henderson of Paducah, Nathaniel Webb of Jackson, TN, Ryan Sinclair of Murfreesboro, TN, and David Sinclair of South Fulton, TN; one great-grandchild, Jessica Woods of Paducah; and one nephew, Kenneth Emerson of Melbourne, FL.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Schultetus; her second husband, Everett Sinclair; a son, Jack Schultetus; one sister; and one brother.

Mrs. Hayes died at 3:37 AM Saturday August 17, 2002 at her home. She was a member of Gospel Light Missionary Baptist Church and was a hearings assistant for the U.S. Office of Hearings and Appeals.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Hayes; one daughter, Rita Perdew of Pottsville; one son, Pat Perdew of Clarksville, TN; one sister, Sue Gilbert of Folsemdale; two brothers, Clarence Chambers Jr. of Hammond, IN and Tommy Chambers of Warner Robins, GA; and two grandsons, Cory Watkins and Bradley Watkins, both of Paducah.

Mrs. Mary Annie Hayden

Funeral Service: Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wed., August 21, 2002 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church.
Interment: Burial will be in St. Dennis Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Annie Hayden passed away on August 17, 2002 at Medco Center in Paducah, Kentucky She was a housewife and a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church.

Mrs. Hayden is survived by one daughter, Barbara Hayden or Paducah, two sons; Tommy and Wayne Hayden both of Paducah.

Mrs. Hayden has one brother, John French of Fancy Farm, KY. There are 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren surviving Mrs. Hayden as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hayden is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Hayden and a son, Joe Hayden. Her parents, Thomas and Theodoshua Lee French, one sister and one brother also preceded Mrs. Hayden in death.
