Services for Diantha Lyne Kingston, 45, of Carbondale, Ill., formerly of Paducah, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. Brian Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Kingston died Tuesday at her home.
A native of Paducah, she worked as a nurse in the Western Baptist Hospital Intensive Care Unit, and was a member of Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Chelsea Kingston of Carbondale; one son, Lucas Kingston of Carbondale; one sister, Damaris Miltenberger of Carbondale; one niece; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Leonard Shaffer and Jewel Annette Bailey Shaffer.
Friends may call between 5 and 8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home.

Services for Hazel Don Presley, 84, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak. The Rev. Mike Williams and her son, the Rev. Don Presley of Paducah, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Presley died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at her home.
She was a native of Paducah and was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church since 1953.
In addition to her son, she is survived by one daughter, Janna Presley of Paducah, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.A. "Hap" Presley; one sister; and one brother. Her parents were Patrick T. Cooper and Daisy Jarboe Cooper.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home.

Services for James Everitt Burns, 80, of Paducah will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Carson Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. J. Kevin McCallon officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Burns died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He retired from the Radiology Department of Western Baptist Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Martin and Connie Hayden, both of Paducah; two sisters, Shirley Goodwin of Melbourne, Fla., and Dulcie Lee Bell of Paducah; two brothers, Bill Burns of Sharpe and Clifton Wayne Burns of Paducah; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Sue Dublin Burns; three sisters; and one brother. His parents were Mary Ann Buchanan Burns and Charles Everitt Burns.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak and after 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Services for Judy Gayle Baker, 61, of Paducah will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will be in Brooks Memorial Park.
Mrs. Baker died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at her home.
A native of Rocky Hill, Kentucky, she retired from BellSouth Telephone Company and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Communications Workers of America, American Quilter's Society, Stitch 'n' Quilt Circle, Massac Quilters Guild and Telephone Pioneers.
Surviving are her husband, Stan Baker; two sons, Nathan Middleton of San Antonio and Mark Middleton of Nashville, Tenn.; three stepsons, Roy Baker and Todd Baker, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Stan Baker III of Louisville; two brothers, Claud Gibson and Wayne Gibson, both of Bowling Green; and eight grandchildren.
Her parents were Linard Claud Gibson and Ada Ruth Gibson.

Hollis Terry, 96, of Bardwell died at 9:27 a.m. Sunday at the Clinton-Hickman County Intermediate Care Facility in Clinton.
Mr. Terry was a retired carpenter and a member and deacon of Mississippi Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Vaughn Terry; three daughters, Gene Morgan and Sue Crowley, both of Bardwell, and Brenda Summers of Cunningham; a brother, Granville Terry of Clinton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Roney and Belle Jennings Terry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell. The Rev. Paul Crowley will officiate, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at the Funeral home.

Mrs. Richards died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and its Pathfinders Sunday school class. She was a homemaker and worked at International Shoe Co. prior to 1960. She was a 1942 graduate of Reidland High School.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, James E. Richards; four children, Linda Krone and husband, Steve, of Wood River, Ill., Donald Richards and wife, Karol, and Brenda Spees and husband, Daniel, all of Paducah, and Glenda Whitis of Boaz; nine grandchildren, Brian Krone, Tony Krone, Dwain Richards, Todd Whitis, Chris Richards, Michael Richards, Sara Spees, Tiffany Richards and Austin Spees; five great-grandchildren, Kylee Krone, Dylan Richards, Kierra Krone, Christian Richards and Kasia Krone; one brother, James Rambo; two sisters, Oneta Richards and Vida Burnett; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Rambo; one sister, Ruth Smith; and one nephew. Her parents were Irvin Roy Rambo and Bessie Opal Wilson Rambo.

Mr. Nesler died at 12:08 p.m. Monday at his home.
A U.S. Army veteran, he retired as dock foreman from A&H Truck Line after 40 years of service and was a member of the Teamsters Union and Central Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Jessie Evans Nesler; a daughter, Judy Quinton of Lone Oak; a son, Larry Nesler of Calvert City; a sister, Lucille Nesler of Paducah; and three grandchildren, Nick Nesler of Calvert City and Haley Quinton and Austin Quinton, both of Lone Oak.
His parents were John and Margaret Bethel Nesler.

Graveside services for Mary Hogarty Moore, 71, of Jacksonville, Ala., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2004, at Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort.
The Frankfort native died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Moore owned and operated Heritage House Gifts. She was a charter member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Jacksonville, a founding member of Jacksonville's Community Concerts program and a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America.
Surviving are a son, James E. Moore of Princeton; two daughters, Cathy Moore Elliott of Paducah and Julie Moore Slade of Alpharetta, Ga.; and five grandchildren, John Elliott and Mary Beth Elliott, both of Paducah, Will Slade and Rob Slade, both of Atlanta, and Mary Francis Moore of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Moore.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Jacksonville with the Rev. Alan Mackey officiating.

Howard A. Grubbs, 73, of Paducah died at 4 a.m. Sunday at his home.
He was a retired engineer for BF Goodrich. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, Steve Grubbs of Paducah and Mark Grubbs of Sharpe; one sister, Wanda Harding of Paducah; one brother, Bobby Grubbs of Paducah; two grandchildren; and one step grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Murlene Pinner Grubbs. His parents were Clyde and Viva Vanvactor Grubbs.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Dr. Kenneth Brown will officiate, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Services for Melvin F. Hobbs, 64, of Paducah will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Bruce McCarty will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hobbs died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday at his home.
He was the retired former owner of Quality Business Forms.
Surviving are two sons, Duane Hobbs and Randell Hobbs, both of Paducah; four sisters, Thelma Johnson, Barbara Rutherford and Joann Taylor, all of Paducah, and Glenda Mize of Jonesboro, Ga.; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by six sisters and a brother. His parents were James A. and Marie P. Neihoff Hobbs.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak; prayers are set for 7.

Graveside services for Jennie Louise "Jerry" Noonan, 90, of Paducah, formerly of Mayfield, will be at 1 p.m. today at Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield with the Rev. Danny Guess officiating.
Mrs. Noonan died at 7 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a retired seamstress at Curlee Clothing Company and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Ann Bernhoft of Alamo, Calif.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Noonan; a daughter, Mary Louise Dobson; a son, Tommy Noonan; and a grandchild. Her parents were Wesley Carroll and Addie Louise Thomas Battles.
There will be no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

She was a homemaker and was a retired assistant at the Yeiser Art Center.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Allen North; two daughters, Alana North Miller and Angela North Woeltz, both of Paducah; a son, Allen North of O'Fallon, Mo.; a brother, Lynn Ferguson of Paducah; six grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Roy Shell; her mother, Mary Sirk Ferguson; and her stepfather, Jewell Ferguson.
