Services for Margie Hook, 69, of Clay, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31l at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. The Rev. Mitchell Ferguson officiated, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.
Mrs. Hook died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at her residence.
She was a member of Zion Apostolic Church in Providence.
Survivors include four daughters, Darlene Blackford of Hanson, Martha Walker of Sebree, Wanda Rhye of Madisonville, and Elizabeth Gibson of Petersburg, IN; three sons, Dennis Hook, Tony Hook, and Eugene Hook, all of Clay; a sister, Margaret Adams of Dawson Springs; two brothers, Claude Ladd of Dawson Springs and Fred Ladd of Reidland, KY; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Frances Olen Stone
Services for Frances Olen Stone, 60, of Dixon, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. The Rev Bob Hardison officiated, with burial in Shelton Cemetery in Webster County.
Mrs. Stone died at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include seven daughters, Judith Elaine Springfield of Providence, Cathy Mae Carter of Henderson, Sandra Stone of Madisonville, Janice Faye Stone of Dixon, Vickie Renea Stone of Dixon, Bertha Annette Allen of Sebree and Melinda Gail Eastwood of Onton; four sons, Kenneth Eugene Stone of Dixon, Lonnie Dion Stone of Henderson, Basil Carol Stone of Sebree, and Richie Waide Stone of Dixon; a brother, Jerry Wayne Stone of Dixon; a sister, Dorothy Ilene Stone of Henderson; 25 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Naomi Pearl (Owen) Gibson
Services for Naomi Pearl (Owen) Gibson, 88, of Sebree, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church near Slaughters. The Rev. Richard Snyder officiated, with burial in Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Medco Nursing Home in Henderson.
She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church, member of Baptist Missionary Society and the Hubbard Homemakers of Webster County.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Riggs and Julie Wagoner, both of Sebree; a son, Joe Kenneth Gibson of Princeton; two sisters, Jean King of Henderson and Vivian Clark of Poole; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Tompkins Funeral Homes, Sebree/Poole Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Tyline Gray
Services for Tyline Gray, 84, of Blackford, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. The Revs. Pete Hedgepath and Wayne Knoth officiated, with burial in Old Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Gray died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2002, at her son's home in Belton, KY.
She was a member of Blackford Baptist Church in Blackford.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hedgepath of Sturgis; two sons, Randolph Gray of Blackford and Samuel G. Gray of Belton, KY; a sister, Dorothy Cowan of Lake City, KY; a brother, James C. Fuller of Marion; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Billy Grant Pride
Services for Billy Grant Pride, 66, of Bowling Green, formerly of Scottsville, KY, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Abounding Grace Ministeries. Bros. Elvis Farley and David Gowen officiated, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Pride died at 4:03 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at his residence.
A Webster County native, he was a retired police officer and member of First Baptist Church in Providence.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Glover Pride; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandy and John Faulk, and Michelle Ann Beard, all of Madisonville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Darlene Pride of Benton, James and Terri Pride of Madisonville, and Fred and Christi Pride of Scottsville; 16 grandchildren; and one niece.
Flossie Williams Jones
Services for Flossie (Williams) Jones, 90, of Sebree, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Tompkins Funeral Homes, Sebree/Poole Chapel. The Rev. Rudy Moser officiated, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.
Mrs. Jones died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a homemaker and member of Sebree General Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight daughters,Elsie Clark of Hopkinsville, Margie Floyd of Henderson, Mary Parker, Wanda Shelton, Patsy LaRue, Geraldine Tyler, and Joyce Deno, all of Sebree, and Janice Hill of Dixon; a son, William Eugene Jones of Sheridan, IN; 40 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until services time at the Funeral home.
John S. Nall
Services for John S. Nall, 67, of Clay, were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Minister Sam Belo officiated, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.
Mr. Nall died at 6:18 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2003, at his residence.
He worked for P&M Coal Company for 10 years and retired from Mapco after 25 years as maintenance superintendent. He attended Bordley Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Wanda Nall; a daughter, Rita Martin of Clay; two sons, Bobby R Nall and Todd Nall, both of Clay; three brothers, Bill Nall of Dayton, OH, Bob Nall of Poole, and Jim Nall of Lexington; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Andy Wooley
Services for Andy Wooley, 48, of Sebree, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Tompkins Funeral Homes, Sebree/Poole Chapel. Bro. James Young officiated, with burial in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.
Mr. Wooley died Friday, April 4, 2003, as the result of an ATV accident near his home.
He was a leadman in the remelt department of Gibbs Diecast in Henderson. He was also a U.S. Airforce veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lorna Emhoff Wooley; three daughters, Andrea Osborne, Holly Wooley, and Beth Wooley, all of Sebree; his mother and stepfather, Betty (James) and Sam Frost of Sebree; a brother, Larry Wooley of Sebree; two sisters, Connie Pendley of Madisonville and Cathy Hill of Clay; a stepbrother, Doral Frost of Mineral Point, WI; and a stepsister, Brenda Mitchell of Cleves, OH.
Charles S. Young
Services for Charles Samuel Young, 76, of Clay, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay. The Rev. David Combs officiated, with burial in New Clay Cemetery in Clay.
Mr. Young died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at his residence.
A retired coal miner having worked for 22 years for UMWA mines and 22 years for Mapco. He was a member of Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, June Young; two sons, Robert Samiel Young of Bardstown, KY, and Tim Young of Henderson; two sisters, Marie Fitzgerald of Evansville, IN, and Glendola Birkey of Mishawaka, IN; two brothers, Gene Young and Calvin Ray Young, both of South Bend, IN; and six grandchildren.

Lorene Blackwell
Services for Lorene Blackwell, 89, of Evansville, IN, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Alexander Funeral Home, West Chapel in Evansville, IN. Jeff Bivens officiated, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwell died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Pine Haven Nursing Home.
She was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include a sister, Nell Stearman of Providence; a brother, James Bivens of Central City; her niece and caregiver, Linda Ours; and several other nieces and nephews.
Jackie Elder
Services for Jackie Elder, 59, of Providence, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence. The Rev. Curt Osborne officiated, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Mr. Elder died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at his residence.
Survivors include three brothers, Charles Elder, Chester Elder, and James Elder, all of Providence; and a sister, Dorthy Lucas of Hornet, KY.
Gary Dale (Hutch) Hutcheison
Services for Gary Dale (Hutch) Hutcheison, 58, of Dixon, were conducted at noon Friday, April 4, at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson. Bro. Vernon Rigsby will officiate the services.
Mr. Hutcheison died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at his residence.
He was a hotline foreman at Kenergy Corp., retiring in 2002 after 31 years. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served in the Seabees with two tours in Vietnam. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a retired member of the Riverview School board.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle L. Johnson of Calhoun; two sons, Mitchell D. Hutcheison and Michael T. Hutcheison, both of Henderson; two sisters, Carol Thurby and Nancy Cook, both of Henderson; a brother, Leonard M. Hutcheison of Henderson; and a grandchild.
Mary Evelyn Householder
Services for Mary Evelyn Householder, 83, of Dixon, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, at New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden. The Revs. Doug Stallins and Kenny Duncan officiated, with burial in Boxville Cemetery in Union County.
Mrs. Householder died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at her residence.
She was a housewife and member of New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Householder; two daughters, Judy Liggett of Dixon and Jeannie Edwards of Clay; a son, Jimbo Householder of Tilden; a sister, Lucille Whitledge of Canyon City, CO; two brothers, Archie Cartwright of Fort Collins, CO and J.W. Cartwright of Henderson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
William Elgie Brown
Memorial services for William Elgie (Red) Brown, 77, of Nebo, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Brown died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at NHC Healthcare in Dawson Springs.
He was a retired coal miner at Colonial Mines where he was a dozer and drag-line operator.
Survivors include four daughters, Terri Ann Stanley of Nebo, Kelli Hernandez of Madisonville, and Dana Hampton and Sara Brown, both of Dawson Springs; a son, Bill Ed Brown of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Mary Iarussi of Erie, PA; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deloris Murphy
Services for Deloris Murphy, 47, of Mortons Gap, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Forest Chapel Baptist Church in Mortons Gap. The Rev. Terry Slaton officiated, with burial in Flat Creek Cemetery in Mortons Gap.
Ms. Murphy died at 10:10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2003, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a 1974 graduate of South Hopkins High School She attended Bowling Green Business College and worked at J.C. Penney for 20 years. She was also a member of Forest Chapel Baptist Church in Mortons Gap.
Survivors include her father, Willis Lee Murphy Sr. of Madsionville; four brothers, Willis L. Murphy Jr. of Washington, DC, Carlos Murphy of Indianapolis, IN, Brian Murphy of Providence, and William Troy Murphy of Evansville, IN; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heather Lynae Rudd
Memorial services for Heather Lynae Richardson Rudd, 19, of Greenville, KY, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at New Covenant Christian Center in Providence. Pastor Tim Rigdon officiated, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence.
Miss Rudd died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, April, 4, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Greenville in Muhlenberg County.
Survivors include her father, Jerry Rudd of Providence; four sisters, Holly Rudd of Gaston, SC, Malerie Rudd, and Malerie Rudd, Sabrina Rudd and Shayla Rudd, all of Providence; her grandmother, Emily Parish of Providence; and her grandfather, William Rudd of Madisonville.
