Flora was born: April 22 1895 in Pike Co, Kentucky died: November 17, 1968; the daughter of the late Robert and Emily (Elswick) Caines; she leaves one half-brother, Clell Caines; 2 half sisters: June Ratliff and Lizzie Maynard, all of Pisco, Ky; Fred was born: March 18 1887 Pike Co, Kentucky died: April 4, 1967; the son of Leaner and Thersia (Pinson) Smith; he leaves a brother, Henry Smith of Meta, Kentucky and a sister Dolly Hinkle of Hardy, Kentucky They were married : May 26, 1911; 6 childern: 2 sons, Robert, an infant, and Levi, killed in action in the U S Army; surviving: Clyde, Viola Birchfield, and Sterling Smith all of Pikeville, Ky; Clell Smith of Oil Springs, Kentucky Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

BLANKENSHIP, Sally was born: 1840 near Gladeville, Wise Co., Virginia and moved to Kentucky about 1859, near Jenkins; 1st married : Robert HYLTON; 6 children; her husband was called into the Civil War and at the time he came be to be mustered out, he was shot and killed at Louisa, Kentucky; their property was stolen and destroyed during the war; 2nd married : Barnett Blankenship; 7 children. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.
