LESTER, Mrs. Homer - Mrs. Homer Vennie Frances Lester, 57, of Bucyrus, Ohio, formerly of Buchanan County, Virginia, died Wednesday in a Bucyrus hospital after a long illness. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, James, Roger, Gary, and Danny Lester, all of Bucyrus; two daughters, Mrs. Brenda Edwards of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Miss Patricia Gail Lester of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Nani Smith of Bucyrus, Mrs. Ruby Ball of Raven, Virginia, and Mrs. Myrtle Keene of Tazewell, Virginia; two brothers, donald Stillwell of Acella, Ohio, Jay Stillwell of Richands, Virginia; and nine grandchildren. Buried at the Ball cemetery in Raven.

RASNAKE, Ashley Lynn, infant daughter of Johnny and Angela Rasnake, born August 11 1988, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl, and died February 26 1989, survived by: her parents of Interlachen, Fl; her maternal grandparents, Sharon Sullivan of Davenport, Virginia; and Dewey Sullivan of Bee, Virginia; Paternal grandparents, Billy Rasnake of Bee, Virginia, and Jean Rasnake of Mansfield, Ohio; Great-grandparents are Clyde and Delta Breeding, Bee, Virginia; her gggrandparents are Effie Breeding and the late George Breeding of Davenport, Va.

PERRIGAN Mary Melinda was born: Jan 7 1897 died: Oct 16 1888; 1st married : Andy YATES, September 30 1915; one child, Trula Yates; they both preceded her in death during the big flu epidemic in 1918; her husband, Andy, died on November 2 1918 and her daughter, Trula, died just 6 days later on November 8 1918. She later married : Luther PERRIGAN, February 6 1920; 2 boys 3 girls; her husband Luther and two sons, Oscar Lee Perrigan and Carrol Perigan preceded her in death. Luther died, August 17 1962 and Oscar died June 16 1965, and Carrol on Oct 26 1968; she leaves 3 girls: Evelyn Mullins, Clinchco, Virginia; Bonnie Brooks, Ashland, Ohio and Betty Baughman, Mansfield, Ohio; 3 sisters: Maxie Perrigan, Clintwood, Virginia; Stella Turner, Clinchco, Virginia; and Zella Deel, Clinchco. Joined the Sand Lick Primitive Baptist Church, Oct 28 1939.

BARTON, Okley Lee born: July 13 1927 died: June 17 1989, the son of the late Elijah Barton and Nancy Emaline (Edwards) Barton, Clinchco, Virginia; married : Jane WOOD, May 25 1947; 3 children: Danny Gray, deceased; Oakley Gerald, Clinchco, Va. and Barbara Ann McCowan, St. Paul, MN; also leaves, 2 brothers: Rev. Leonard, Bristol, Virginia; and Kermit, Dayton, Ohio; 2 sisters: Elsie Runyon, Clinchco, Virginia; and Bonnie White, Brighton, IL; his son, Danny, one brother, Johnnie E., and one sister, Vestal Marie Barton all deceased.

ROSE, Ernest, age 74, died June 1 1989 in the Veterans Hospital, Mountain Home, Tenn; he was a lifelong resident of Dickenson Co., Virginia; a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII; the son of the late Stonewall and Lear Rose; he leaves his wife, Ethel Rose, Clintwood, Virginia; 2 sons: Ernest Edgar Rose, and Wade Lee Rose both of Clintwood, Virginia; 2 girls: Brenda L. Caldwell, Hammond, LA; and Mary R. goodman, Greensboro, NC; 2 brothers: Avin Rose and Albert Rose, both of Clintwood, Va.
