DEEL, William Parot born: May 26 1873 died: August 5 1937 son of Silas and Mary Jane (Noonkester) Deel married : Nannie Emaline Fuller, April 20 1897 born: November 6 1873 died: March 17 1941 daughter of Thomas and Matilda Fuller; 3 boys: Silas Kilby, James Floyd, and Thomas Stanford, deceased; 3 girls: Mary Jane Deel, Tilda Deel Duty, and Carrie Ellen, deceased. Nannie Emaline joined the San Lick Primitive Baptist Church after 1919. William was a carpenter and Masonary worker including building chimneys. He had a record of building 63 chimneys out of rocks which he hewed and dressed himself with a chisel and hammer. He would walk far and near to do his work. He would carry the rocks, climb a ladder and lay the rock until he reached the top and the chimney complete.
