ADKINS, Nelse born 7/20/1861, died 10/21/1919, married Linda Roberson; they had 4 sons, and 2 daughters, 5 still living. He joined the Old Regular Baptist church at Greasy Creek Church and was a member there about 9 years before moving his letter to Rockhouse Church circa 1915. Written by Grant Epling

YATES, Samuel born 6/10/1842, died 2/16/1918, married Sarah Deel circa 1865; they had 2 daughters and 5 sons, five still living. Sarah (Deel) Yates preceded him in death. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church ca 1888 and lived a member until the divide when he went off with the hard shell side and remained with them until he became dissatisfied then he came back by acknowledgement in the presence of the church. Thereafter he was a member of the Russell Prater Church. Written by Elder D. C. Church and J. M. Gibson

QUINLEY, James Henderson born 3/1/18/46, died 7/11/1919, was survived by his wife, 2 daughters and many grandchildren. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church. He devoted the last 3 years of his life to reading the Bible. Written by his grandson, Bart B. Belcher

STILTNER, Vesta born on Knox Creek, 2/27/1848, died 3/21/1917, was the daughter of Sammy Smith. She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1864. She married William H. Looney; they had no? children. Wm. H. Looney "got killed" and she married Jeff Stiltner; they had 2 children, still living, as was Jeff Stiltner. Written by her youngest son, Green Stiltner.

ADKINS, Josephine born in 1861, died 8/3/1923, married Peter Adkins, who was still living. They had 10 children, 6 still living. Her youngest daughter died 3/26/1924 and before she died she told her brothers and sisters that she'd seen a beautiful angel in the window and recognized it as her mother, Josephine Adkins. She had a daughter named Eva who lived in Virginia. She had a son named Perry. She indicated that she wanted G. W. Powell, Thomas Thacker, James Sanders and John A. Damron to preach her funeral. She was a member of the Rock House Church. Written by Grant Epling.

CHURCH, Pearlie born 9/15/1893, died 11/11/1918, married Huling Church; they had no children. She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1913. Her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister were living at the time of her death; 2 of her brothers had joined the church; the other siblings, "...are still wandering in sin..." Joined the Buck Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.

PAULEY, Wilda born: October 18 1891 died: September 15 1974 in Louisa General Hospital; daughter of Ambrose and Ellen (Fields) Pauley; She leaves two brothers; Shadel Pauley and Lacey Pauley of Beauty, Kentucky; and one sister, Maude Lowe of Pikeville, Kentucky; her husband, Peter Dials died: October 1969; 14 children; the first two, being twin girls, were born dead; one child, Effie, died at age 9 days old; and Jerome died July 28 1966; leaving 10 children, girls: Nona Mills, Mary Ellen Moore and Hattie Mae Castle of Inez, Kentucky; and Oma Muncy and Gladys Marie Dials of Beauty, Kentucky; boys: Ellis of Jenny Wiley Rest Home in Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Burgess of St. Albans, West Virginia; John of Columbus, OH; Acie of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; and Elmer of Inez, Kentucky. She was baptized in the winter of 1917, in the waters of Three Forks of Wolf Creek, by Elder Jeff Fields. She placed her membership with the Sidney Church, in 1932 she moved her membership to Leannah Church so they could organize Buck Creek Church; only one member of that body still survives, Elder Shadle Pauley.

ROBINSON, Tom born: March 9 1903 died: January 11 1975; married : Tina McCOY died: October 10 1971; 8 children, the oldest, Hayes Robinson, died: March 23 1975; leaving 4 girls: Marie Lowe, Myrtie Preece, Betty Jean Griffey and Nadine Preece; 3 sons: Rush, Charles, and Billy Robinson; he leaves 2nd Md: Fannie McCOY, 5 sisters: Norma Cline, Mary Fields, Pearlie Cline, Ivory Robinson and Irene Griffey; 2 brothers: Henry and Ira Robinson. He and Tina both were baptized August 1946 by Elders J. L. Nichols and Elder Eldon Maynard. Tom as ordained as Deacon, also served the Church as Treasurer, and was Clerk of the Church for a several years. They both joined the Leannah Church of Old Regular Baptist.
