Hollard of Ligonier, Indiana; Mattie Buffo of Gray, Indiana; Verna Singleton of Sturgis, Michigan; Anna Spear of New Lexington, Ohio; and Lola Bray of Sturgis, Michigan; and one adopted grand-daughter of Centervville, Michigan; two boys; Isom Stallard, Jr of Howe, Ind; and Johnny Stallard of Sturgis, Michigan; one adopted grandson of Burroak, Michigan; she was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, two daughters, and two sons. Member of the Joppy Church of Old Regular Baptist.

STATON, Harold E. was born: September 8 1939 at Hardy, Kentucky; died: August 24 1997 in the Veterans Hospital, Detroit, Michigan; son of the late Freeland, and Shirley Staton; also preceded in death by a brother, Dr. James L. Staton, and a sister, Loretta; survived by his wife, Carolyn Staton; two daughters, Rita Simerly and Sharon Boardman; one grandson, Brian Boardman. His sisters are: Lucille Stuart of Florida; Magdalene Varney of West Virginia; and Doris Hatfield of Kentucky; brothers are, Carl and Glen of Florida; Garland and Larry of Ohio and Weldon of Kentucky. Member of the Ypsilatni Church of Old Regular Baptist of Canton, Michigan.

STILTNER, Izear was born: June 7 1917 son of James and Betty Stiltner, and died: June 28 1998; he was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Jonah, Leck, and Jackson; and two sisters: Martha and Naomi. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Ocie Gay RAMEY married : April 8 1944; 3 children, Barbara Kinder of Vansant, Virginia; Lucy Mullins of Abingdon, Virginia; and James Allen of Grundy, Virginia; also, two sisters, Pearl Hess of Grundy, Virginia; and Mary Fletcher of Kingsport, Tenn. He was a retired member of UMWA Local 7025, he worked for Harman Mining co., and became disable in 1957. Member of the Grundy Church of Old Regular Baptist since October 31 1982.

ISAAC, Flora was born: October 22 1931 died: February 27 1998 daughter of Spencer and Hulda (Johnson) Isaac; married : Narvel TACKETT, May 9 1952; 5 sons: John Milton, Lester Keith, Narvel Leo; and two other sons who preceded her in death; also, there were two dauthers; Malverie Ann Perkins, Flora Lynn Tucker, and Ruby June Perkins. Member of the Church of Old Regular Baptist.

BROWN, Magalene was born: June 26 1932 Beaver, Kentucky died: November 7 1997; daughter of the late Hatler and Liddie (Bentley) Brown; she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. TACKETT married : January 6 1951; 6 boys 4 girls.

Johnson; and a sister, Gladys Boatwright; survived by her husband, Euell THACKER; 3 daughters, Velma (Ken) Nicholson of Valparaiso, Florida; Deborah Darlene (Curtis) Johnson of Orlando, Fla; Euelene (Ron) Balthis of Wise, Virginia; a son, Millard Thacker of Houston, Alabama; 3 sisters: Elizabeth Kuhn of Trenton, Michigan; Cynthia Campbell of New Boston, Michigan; and Ocie Belleville, Mich.

HESS, Macie was born: December 31 1930 at Fishtrap, Kentucky; died: October 24 1997 at her home; daughter of the late John and Maudie (Thacker) Hess; preceded in death by two brothers, James and Johnny Hess; she is survived by her husband Eugene THACKER; 3 sons, Clinton (Zettie Mae) Thacker of Raccoon, Kentucky; Clifford (Opal) Thacker of Raccoon, Kentucky; and Thomas (Margaret) Thacker of Kimper, Kentucky; one daughter, Christine Thacker of Kimper, Kentucky; two brothers, Dan and Albert Hess of Raccoon, Kentucky; 4 sisters, Elsie Hess and Lula Adkins, both of Raccoon, Kentucky; Bertha Branham of Zebulon, Kentucky; Arlene Adkins of Pikeville, Kentucky.

THACKER, Russell died at age 70 at the Pikeville Methodist Hospital.

THOMPSON, Ralph Edward son of Elder Herman C. and Hettie Thompson born: July 17 1954 Xenia, Ohio; died: July 20 1998 at Eubank, Kentucky; preceded in death by his parents; he leaves 3 brothers; Randall, Ronald, and Richard; one sister, Mary Louise Myers; his children: Joseph Edward, age 10 and Misti Mae age 4.

TRIVETTE, Arthur was born: November 27 1905 to George and Elvira (Vanover) Trivette, died: October 22 1997, he was the oldst of 10 children; he leaves 4 brothers: Edar of Ohio; Lonnie of West Virginia; Nobel of Ohio and Goble of Pikeville, Kentucky; married : Causby Alice (Newsome) Trivette on June 10 1926; 12 children; surviving children: Clara Little and Arthur, Jr both of Lincoln Park, Michigan; Ruby Wright of Myra, Kentucky; Pauline Osborne of Walled Lake, Michigan; Fannie Chavis of Jenkins, Kentucky; Annie Sturgill and Lois Con both of Cleveland, Tenn; Patty Culliton of Hampton, Virginia; Carl Gene of alabama; Ancil Wayne of Neon, Kentucky; and Glen Allen of Jenkins, Kentucky; he was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Edna Hall of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; and wife, Causby Alice; 2nd married : Oma (Smallwood) Simpkins, November 14 1990; he also leaves, step children: Mary Conway of Mansfield, Ohio; Adeline Conway of Regina, Kentucky; Sandra Bruke of Myra Kentucky; and Loretta Combs of Lookout, Kentucky. Member of the Church of Old Regular Baptist and was baptized on July 13 1950 by Elder Mahlon Burke. He was an ordained Deacon for 46 years.
