PROFITT, Jim died January 4 1940 at the age of 68 yrs, 8 mos, and 19 days old. He married Minnie COLLINS, daughter of West Collins, they had 9 children, 6 still living. KINCER, Elizabeth born January 3 1857 died June 17 1940; married : Bill Kincer; having 10 children;. Two boys Wash and Elick and her husband preceded her in death. Member of the Thornton Gap Church of Old Regular Baptist. Writen by her daughter Elsie Gibson.

SHORT, Ora Lee born September 25 1921 died September 13 1939 due to Tuberculosis (TB) . She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Written by her sister Bilvia Webb.

ADKINS, Lewis died March 30 1940 from dropsy. He leaves two brothers. Before he died he asked Willie Robison to build a casket and he selected his lumber. He asked his brother-in-law Alex Ratliff to see that he was buried on Greasy Creek next to his sister. Buried at the G. W. Robinson Cemetary on Greasy Creek Kentucky, Pike Co. GILLESPIE, Ida Bell born to John and Jane Gillespie of Greasy Creek Kentucky near the year 1885; died December 17 1938. She married Preston MULLINS having 16 children, 6 preceded her in death. Surviving children: Sarah Ann, Frankie, Johnnie, Willard, Ray, Hattie, Jack, Eugene, Clarence and Kenneth Howard. member of the Greasy Creek Church of Old Regular Baptist.

RATLIFF, Alex, Sr. born: Lookout, Kentucky, Pike Co. on January 19 1857; the son of the late Harrison and Louisa COLEMAN Ratliff died February 2 1954. Married in January 24 1901 to Mary S. BARTLEY having 6 girls/2 boys, 2 boys deceased. Member of the Ashcamp Church of Old Regular Baptist as of June 20 1914.

ARRINGTON, James W. born January 20 1867 died December 25 1953, married Mattie OWENS, January 3 1886 having 7 children; Mrs. Ellen Mullins, Mrs. Maxie Mullins, Mrs. Nellie Baker, all of Clintwood, Virginia; Mrs. Charles Arrington, Haysi, Virginia, Miss Ethel Arrington and Elmon Arrington both of Clinchco Virginia., he is also survived by his wife, one brother and three sister, Mr. Floyd Arrington, Clinchco, Virginia, Mrs. Caldona Counts, Clinchco Virginia., Mrs. Martha Owens Arrington, Duty, Virginia., Mrs. Emiline Rose, Clintwood, Virginia.

OWENS, Willie A. born September 20 1895 died September 2 1953, the son of Larkin and the late Mary Owens. Married Doshia McFADDEN September 24 1914 having six children; one preceded him in death. Written by son, Earsie C. Owens.

WRIGHT, Lina, the daugther of John and Martha Wright; born October 29 1903 died October 31 1953. Married to Hobart ROBINSON having 7 boys/4 girls. Survived by husband, 11 children, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and mother. Buried at the Book Fork cemetery on Caney Creek Kentucky. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church at Dorton, Kentucky.

Married to Louisa ADAMS, June 11 1914 having 7 children; Mrs. Dorothy Disney, Miss Mary Cantrell, Arthur Cantrell all of Pound Virginia; Kermit, Norton Virginia., Mrs. Violet Sowards, Nashville, Tenn; and one foster son Billy Cowden, in the U.S. Armey, two sons, Kenneth and Ottis died in infancy.

CARICO, Noah Fielding born March 14 1877 died June 1 1954 to Mrs. & Mrs. Martin Carico; married Martha Eleanor EDWARDS in 1897 having 8 children; 3 preceded him in death, 5 were stillborn, 4 girls Mrs. Ada Meade, Mrs. Orpha Meade, Mrs. Ruth Paige, and Mrs. Beulah Meade, one son, Ruben Carico;later married Nannie MEADE in 1921 having 11 children, one preceded him in death, living 4 boys, Willie, Ival, Ray, and Arney, 6 girls, Marie, Maxie, Betty, Mary, Alba, and Rene also 3 brothers, Isaac, Mitchell and William Carico, one sister, Alice Carico KILGORE. Member of the Sandy Ridge Church of Old Regular Baptist since July 1929.

VIERS, Martha was born May 12 1870 and died November 30 1953, the daughter of Isaac and Lucy Viers. She married Andy ROBINSON October 27 1888; having 5 girls/8 boys; five preceded her in death, leaving a husband and 8 children and 62 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren.
