BENTLEY on January 23 1918 having 6 boys/2 girls; five preceded her in death, 3 girls and two boys. Foley in in the U.S. Army, Vicie, Vida and Olaf at home and Mrs. Vada Ketchum of Portsmouth, Virginia. Member of the Little Hattie Church of Old Regular Baptist since August 1941.

HAGY, May was born July 12 1901 and died January 4 1946. She was the daughter of George Hagy and Hettie Hagy and was married to Andy YATES on June 11 1916 and they had 10 girls/5 boys; one boy and one girl preceded her in death. She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church August 2 1942.

BENTLEY, Ellen was born August 11 1870 and died September 4 1942. She was married to Levi BENTLEY in 1890; having 10 boys/4 girls; 8 boys living; Mantfarlin, James Ervin, John Henry, Ben Harrison, Alvin, Palmer, Hester, Chester, and Jenisis, Hester and Chester died in infancy.; girls Elizabeth, Debitha, Bertha, and Dolly. Her husband died September 17 1923. Member of the Pine Grove Church of Old Regular Baptist at Lookout, Kentucky since 1903. Written by her son, Ben H. Bentley

ADAMS, Madison A. was born 1849 and died July 12 1890 due to typhoid fever. He left his wife, Eliza MAYES, and one daughter, Harriet and 2 sons. John P. and Martin A. Adams, one brother, Martin Adams, and two sisters, America and Susie Adams.

BROWN, Martin was born May 3 1890 and died August 12 1946. The son of Louis and Nan (BOSTICK) Brown of Dickenson Co., Virginia. He married to Louise MULLINS, having 8 boys/6 girls. HAWKINS, Raymond was born June 2 1930 and died December 13 1945. The son of Harlen and Thelma Hawkins. His death was caused by being kicking by a mule on September 26 1945 in the lower part of the stomach and punctured his bowels.

FIELDS, Rev. Beckham was born March 31 1901 and died May 12 1967. The son of George M. Fields and Rebecca Belle (CAUDILL) Fields. He married Arlie BACK and they had 5 girls; Mrs. Florence Fields, Carcassonne, Kentucky, Mrs. Jean R. Rainess, Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Hetty Caudill, Paris Kentucky, Mrs. Shirley Dixon, Pine Top, Kentucky and Mrs. Clovis Whitaker, Frankfort, Kentucky. He later married Dixie CAUDILL they had 11 children; 2 preceded him in death; leaving, Mrs. Marie Caudill, Elkhorn City, Kentucky, Mrs. Clarice Ann Hollard, Lexington, Kentucky, Mrs. Polly Sue Ballard, Winchester, Kentucky, John M. Fields, Chicago, Il, Beckham, Jr. (U.S. Air Force, Japan), Mrs. Norma Lou Williams, Lexington, Kentucky, Mary Alice, Linda Mae and Connie Lee at home. One brother and two preceded him in dead; leaving: Dewey Fields, Waynesburg Kentucky, Davis S. Fields, Louisville, Kentucky, James D. Fields, Carcassonne, Kentucky, Raymond I. Fields, Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Cora Dixon, Blackey, Kentucky, Mrs. Lucinda Eldridge, Waynesburg, Kentucky, Mrs. Paulina Slone, Lexington, Kentucky, and Mrs. Leona Watts, Waynesburg, Kentucky. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

YOUNG, Julius was the son of William and Dyance Young, born in 1877 and died December 22 1966. He was married to Virgie AMBURGEY and they had 11 children; 2 died in infancy and his son Lafayette died in 1963. Surviving children: Dorothy Thornsberry Smith, Mousie Kentucky, Rachel Collins, Ethel Collins, Dyance Asher, all of Indiana; Davada Durham, Bethel Fields, and Alta Amburgey of Florida, and Betty Jane Combs of Sassafrass, Kentucky; Five sisters, Arbell Young, Florence Young, Rachel Amburgey, and Alice Combs; two brothers Manton Young of Redfox, Kentucky and Columbus Young of Hazard, Kentucky. He made his home with his daughter, Dorothy Thornsberry Smith of Mousie, Kentucky.

HALCOMB, Willie he was born April 10 1901 and died February 28 1967 at the Whitesburg Hospital. He was the son of the late Henry and Nancy (Musselwhite) Halcomb. He is survived by his wife, Callie (ROARK) Halcomb and three daughters; Rudell Howard and Janice June Rowe both of Madison, Indiana and Luvena Halcome of Kingscreek, Kentucky; two sons, Bob Halcomb and Henry Halcomb both of Ingrams Creek. Also three sisters; Bertha Ison, Cumberland, Kentucky, Maggie Fields, Lydia Garrett both of Whitesburg, Kentucky; one brother Garvis Fields of Cumberland, Kentucky

BALDRIDGE, Alma was the daughter of Charles and Allie (MAGGARD) Baldridge on June 2 1912 and died May 23 1967. She was married to Sidney THACKER having 5 children, 3 died in infancy. She leaves her mother, husband, two sons, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Written by her mother Allie Baldridge

MARTIN, Polly was born: October 31 1877 and died: March 31 1956; she married Andy Martin in 1901 and they had 11 children, two, deceased. Surviving: Mrs. Goldia Hamilton, Wyandotte, Michigan; Kenas Martin, Teaberry, Kentucky; Bertha Mitchell, Teaberry, Kentucky; Charley Martin, Craynor, Kentucky; Ossia Reynolds, Craynor, Kentucky; Tavia Howell, Craynor, Kentucky; Joe Martin, Teaberry, Kentucky. Also surviving: husband, two brothers and two sisters; 47 grandchildren and 99 great grandchildren.She joined the Old Regular Baptist church in 1917

HOPKINS, Wyona was the daughter of the late John and Kate (Adkins) Hopkins; born May 25 1893 and died August 9 1956. Married to Andrew Akers in 1912; they had 14 children, one preceded her in death. She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1950.

TUTTLE, Joe Elliott was the son of Tom and Hannah (Collins) Tuttle and was born March 9 1884; died June 10 1956. He married Florence Tuttle, the daughter of W. R. Entham Tuttle on October 5 1903. They had 5 boys/7 girls; two boys and four girls survive him; Lester and Lawrence Tuttle, Elizabeth Carter, Emlie Slone, Eva Thorsbury, and Ellie Thornsbury. He was a Deacon at the Caney Church of Old Regular Baptist since June 1956 and a member since 1946.

HALL, Johnnie Boy was born February 9 1889 and died June 15 1955; he was married March 28 1908 to Milley Hall by Rev. W. B. Mullins, they had 11 children; 2 died in infancy. Joined the the Caney Fork Church of Old Regular Baptist September 1922.

SLONE, The daughter of Rube Slone and Nance Slone. She was born December 6 1882 and died October 21 1955. She was from a family of 7, 4/girls and 3 boys, all preceded her in death. She married Preston TERRY about 56 years ago and they had 2 children; Corbet and Elizabeth Terry. She joined the Old Regular Baptist Church, October 28 1915.

WICKER, Basil Lee, son of Bee and Rosie Bell Whicker, was born August 9 1920. He married Edda BERRY in 1947 and they had one girl/2 boys; his wife had six children. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church, 1950.

ADKINS, L. Grant was born: at Greasy Creek, Pike Co., Kentucky on October 15 1868 and died on October 17 1954, the son of Winwright Adkins. He married Anna Elizabeth (COLEMAN) Admins who died: April 7 1949. They left 3 sons, Grady, Sollie and Alvin Adkins; two daughters, Fanny Adkins, and Nan Clark. He was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

JOHNSON, Joel was born December 11 1893 and died May 23 1956; the son of Abel Johnson and Linda (ISAAC) Johnson; he married Jane COOK on March 30 1911 and they had 3 boys and six girls. His wife died July 2 1952; 3 girls died in infancy. He leaves 3 boys and 2 girls, two sisters, one half-sister. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1948 and was Deacon of the Little Rock Church. Written by his brother: Abel Johnson

KIDD, James Elias was born August 28 1872 and died March 141956. He married Ellen (AKERS) Kidd on November 9 1893; they had 7 boys/3 girls; three girls and two boys preceded him in death. He leaves his wife, five children, one half-brother, Watt Akers, Amba, Kentucky; one half-sister, Lizzie Boyd, Dana, Kentucky. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church, June 1921. FRASURE, Armina the daughter of Anthony and Frances Frasure was born November 30 1886 and died April 13 1956. She married John HALL on July 31 1902 and they had 10 children; 5 preceded her in death as well as her father and mother. She leaves 2 sons, Parott Hall of Rush, Kentucky and Walker Hall of Jackson, Michigan, 3 daughters: Mrs. Roscoe Newman of Lucasville, OH; Mrs. Warren G. Scoles, Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Carson Hobson, Vansant, Virginia, one sister, Mrs. Elec Hamilton, Long Beach, California; five brothers, Robert and Trivis Frasure of Blackfoot, Idaho; Freddie and Evan Frasure of Ashland, Kentucky, and Noah Frasure of Grethel, Kentucky. She joined the Zion Church of Old Regular Baptist July 24 1942.

BOYD, Andy was born October 24 1892 and died November 6 1956 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky death due to cancer. His wife died May 1954, he leaves 2 boys/1girl; Kellie, and Kessie of Boyd Co., and Mrs. Ermine Smiley of Detroit, Michigan; two brothers: and six sisters: William Boyd of Lancer; Mrs. Lee Conn of Harold; Mrs. J. P. Hall, Honaker; Mrs. Richard Wills, Watergap; Bennie Boyd, Mrs. Ike Conn, Mrs. Fred M. Akers, and Mrs. Allen W. Akers of Dana; and his uncle: Ben Moles. Member of the Little Salem Church of Old Regular Baptist.

MULLINS, Frank was the son of David Mullins and Nancy (HALL) Mullins; he was born April 3 1906 and died March 15 1956. He married Hattie LITTLE, July 16 1926; they had 5 boys/2 girls. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church July 1951.

CASEBOLT, Emeline was the daughter of the late William Casebolt and Polly (MAGGARD) Casebolt and was born March 25 1887 and died April 24 1956 due to a fall causing a broken back which set up heart dropsy. She married Richard SMITH on December 4 1902 and they had 2 boys, 4 girls.: Everett Smith of Softshell, Kentucky; Horace Smith of Leburn, Kentucky; Mrs. Neely Garheart of Softshell, Kentucky; Mrs. Nellie Coburn of Mousie, Kentucky; Mrs. Polly Ramey of Softshell, Kentucky and Miss Larnie Smith of Softshell, Kentucky. Joined the Balls Fork Church of Old Regular Baptist December 1952.

OUSLEY, Allen was born November 18 1883 and died August 17 1956; he was the father of 15 children, 4 preceded him in death. He leaves his wife, and one brother: James Ousley, and one sister: Mickey Halbert and 11 children. Joined the Spurlock Church of Old Regular Baptist August 1957.

JONES, Minnie was the daughter of Vester Jones and Isabell (REYNOLDS) Jones and born May 4 1899 and died February 25 1956. She married K. F. TACKETT on July 29 1926 and they had 6 children; 2 died in infancy. She leaves her husband, one boy and three girls. Member of the Joppa Church of Old Regular Baptist November 1949.

VANDERPOOL, Rev. John was born January 8 1882 and died January 23 1956, the son of Charlie Vanderpool and Peggie (SHEPARD) Vanderpool. He married Lizzie SEXTON and they had 10 children; his wife and one child, deceased. Later he married Susie BAILEY and they had one girl. She is survived by his wife, five sons, five dau, two sisters, and one brother. A member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for 37 yrs. Written by his daughter, Buna Collins

KISER, Columbus Edward was the son of O. H. Kiser and Lillie Mae (JACOBS) Kiser; he was born April 4 1945 and died June 29 1956. He was killed accidentally by a discharged shotgun while out with his dogs.
