TACKETT, Sie was born November 18 1905 and died December 18 1955; the son of Greenberry and Mendy (HAMILTON) Tackett who preceded him in death. He then married Rosa HOLT Tackett on August 3 1923. He joined the Joppa Church of Old Regular Baptist September 1937.

PIGMAN, Mallie was the son of Wilburn Pigman and Margaret PATTON Pigman; born: June 26 1876 and died: April 27 1956. He leaves his wife, Mary E., six dau, and four sons; One son, decease. Member of the Caney Fork Old Regular Baptist Church.

HALL, Albert was the son of Billy Hall and Ritter BOWLING Hall and was born November 22 1887 and died July 11 1955. He married Lucreasie TACKETT Hall on June 5 1905; they had 2 girls/3 boys; the boys preceded him in death. He joined the Old Joppa Church of Old Regular Baptist August 1951.

MOORE, Williard was born December 18 1900 and died September 1 1955, the son of the late Richard and Pairsie GAYHEART Moore. He married Rebecca STUMBO on April 6 1922 and they had 12 children; 4 preceded him in death; living children: Mary Anis, Rosena, Richard, Willie, Pairsie Ella, Lewis Evart, Ethel Sue and Freddie Gail. He joined the Old Regular Baptist Church on November 12 1939.

GUNNELS, Tom T. was born January 7 1880 in Floyd Co., Kentucky; the son of George and Sarah PATTON Gunnels. He married Elsie DAMRON Gunnels and they had 12 children. He was a Deacon at the Little Dove Church of Old Regular Baptist.

SLONE, Katie was the daughter of Bob Sone and Cassie HUFF Slone, was born: in 1884 and died: June 19 1952. She married Henry JACOB on October 15 1900 and they had 16 children; 8 boys/8 girls; 2 sons, Orda (died in WWII) and Ellis and 2 girls, Della dn and unknown infant preceded her in death. Leaving; sons: Tavis, Taulbee, Marion, Canton, Columbus and Noah; 6 girls: Manda, Dollie, Delia, Lillie Mae, Bloomie, and Mary. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1930.

MARTIN, Sol D. was the son of Dial Martin and Elizabeth ALLEN Martin born January 7 1893 and died June 12 1956. He married Della GAYHEART and they had 8 children; 5 boys and 3 girls living are: Willie E. Martin, Bolton H., Theodore, Louis Bernard, and Elmer Lee (Deceased); girls: Ova Mae Warrens, Madge Moore, and Nancy Fae Bolen. Member of the Bethel Church of Old Regular Baptist.

RAMEY, Margaret of Softshell, Kentucky died November 29 1955 being 70 years old. Left behind her husband, and 6 sons: Mitchell, Troy, Robert, Loy, George, and Kendall all of Knott Co.; 3 girls: Mrs. Daniel Gayheart, and Mrs. Tom Hicks of Knott Co; Mrs. Clifford Hanger of Michigan. member of the Balls Fork Church of Old Regular Baptist.

MOORE, Rev. A. J. was born February 15 1877 and died May 16 1956. He was married to Mima Hicks having six children: Edison, Plymouth, Ohio; E. C., Martin, Kentucky; R. E., Ashland, Kentucky; Virgie Hughes, Raveswood, West Virginia; Emma Ousley, Plymouth, Ohio; and Alice Ousley, Hippo, Kentucky. Minister in the Old Regular Baptist Church.

HALL, Debby was the daughter of William Hall and Mary JOHNSON Hall, born September 8 1872 and died February 25 1956. She married Willie ISAAC and they had 3 children: Maryland, Alphoretta, Kentucky; Rosana, Jackson, Ohio; and Mary, Hite, Kentucky. Willie died in 1896 and the later married Keenis MULLINS and he died 1936. They had no children. Joined teh Joppa Church of Old Regular Baptist February 25 1956.

HOWARD, Willie was the son of Brison and Nancy Howard, born December 10 1886 being 69 yrs and 8 months old. He married Cynthia CAUDILL in 1906 and they had 8 children: Kelly, Henry Mark, and Dollie Living; 3 boys and one girl preceded him in death. He lived most of his live at Garrett, Floyd Co., Kentucky. Joined the old Regular Baptist Church in 1950.

SHEPHERD, Laura was born September 22 1978 and died at the Lackey Hospital on December 1 1954 due to diabetes. She married Bill CRAGER and they had 11 children; Bill and five of the children preceded her in death. She leaves 3 girls/3 boys: Mrs. Perry Ousley, Risner; Mrs. Hayden Allen, Albion, Indiana; Sadie Shepherd, Gunlock; Joe Crager, Gunlock, Jimmie Crager, Gunlock, William Crager, Indiana. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Written by brother and sister: William Shepherd, and Millia Vanderpool both of Gunlock Kentucky.

COOK, Mary Alice ws the daughter of Rev. Pierce Cook and Florence Cook, both deceased. She was born August 5 1878 and died November 9 1955; she married Sylvester Lee TRUMAN and they had 3 children: Commodore, June and Belva. After the death of Sylvester she married Manuel CAUDILL on April 28 1900; they had 3 boys/4 girls. One boy died in infancy two died in manhood. She leaves 6 girls: June and Belva; of second marriage: Golda, Ivadell, Thelman and Florence. Manuel moved to Wayland one year before she died and he died one week after they moved there. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1912.

HALL, Wilburn was the son of Tpton and Polly Jane Hall; born September 17 1905 and died at the age of 71. He married Armina WHITE Hall on September 17 1905; she died November 1 1946 and they had one girl, Lizzie. Later married Mary Evelyn YOUNG Hall having 5 girls/2 boys; and 7 step children.

JONES, Rev. Joe was born June 7 1887 and died September 25 1956, the son of Nathaniel and Charity FLANEY Jones. He married Catherine LITTLE, they daughter of Richard and Mahala Little on August 23 1906. They had 10 children; 5 preceded him in death. He leaves one daughter and four sons: Mrs. Fanny Adkins, Columbus, OH; Perry Jones, Virgie, Kentucky; Estill Jones, Summerville, Mass; Willie Jones, Cleveland, Ohio; and Sidney Jones, last known address was Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Charlie Jones and Crit Flanery. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church June 1939.

HAMILTON, Martha the daughter of Tom and Peggy Hamilton. Married to Green JONES. She was nearly 95 years old when she died. Two half-brothers living: Sie Hamilton and Tom Hamilton, Jr.; One half sister, Renie Hamilton. Joined the Samaria Church of Old Regular Baptist July 1916.

AKERS, Mousie was born May 15 1879 and died May 2 1954, she married Grant HAMILTON they were married 18 yrs and 6 months when he was killed. Later she married Roe HALL and they had one son, Webster Hall. She leaves one brother, Webster Akers, one sister; Monia Akers Stuard and her son Webster Hall. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church, April 24 1915.

BELCHER, Aggie was born July 7 1883 at Blaze Branch on Shelby Creek, Pike Co., Kentucky, the daughter of Levi and Peggy BEVINS Belcher. She died on June 15 1956; she married Hie TACKETT October 1900 and they had 5 boys 4 girls. Two sons, Davy, and one infant preceded her in death as did her husband. Leaving behind three sons: Oliver Tackett of Belfry, Kentucky; Nelson tackett of Cananda, Kentucky; and Jordon Tackett of Ypsilanti, Michigan; four daughters: Mrs. Alma Slone, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Opal Cater, Russell, Kentucky; Mrs. Maxine Gilliam, Ypsilanti, Michigan; and Mrs. Goldie Childers of Elkhorn City, Kentucky; one brother, Hendricks Belcher, Bart Lick, Virginia. Joined the Pikeville Church of Old Regular Baptist July 1940.

DAVIS, Dona was born June 23 1907 and died September 1 1955. He left behind his wife, Mae HOPKINS Davis, 3 daughters: Mrs. Ruby Blackburn, Pikeville, Kentucky; Mrs. Marie Damron, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Helen Damron, Yeager, Kentucky. One Brother, Jeff Davis, Pikeville, Kentucky; two sisters: Mrs. Causby Wiler, Yeager, Kentucky; and Mrs. Ida Smith, Virgie Kentucky. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

DAVIS, Mildred Marie born July 31 1930 and died May 29 1956. Married Thomas DAMRON. She leaves her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mae Davis; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Blackburn and Mrs. Helen Damron; and her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jay Hopkins and Mr. Will Davis of Yeager, Kentucky.

HALL, Velva was the daughter of A. J. Hall and Katherine MARTIN Hall. She was born on December 22 1892 living 62 years. She married Hardy KEEL in 1916 and they had 4 children; one died in infancy. She leaves her husband, 3 children, 3 sisters, one brother and one half sister and two half brothers.

OSBORNE, Jesse was the son of Cleveland Osborne and Rebecca TACKETT Osborne both survived him. He was born November 7 1924 and died March 25 1956. He married Katheline Moe MIALER, and they had 6 children: Mary Ellen 9; Jesse Jr. 8, Dennis 6; Robert 4; Charlotte 3; and Rex Allen 7 months. He leaves 9 bothers adn 4 sisters: Steve, Newton, Emitt, forest, Baxter, Cleveland, Jr., David, Hiram, and Robert; Mrs. George Burke, Mrs. Roy Mullins, Mrs. Etsel Wicker and Mrs. Robert Waggoner; American 18 months, and Montana 11 years deceased. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII. Member of the Little Jewel Church of Old Regular Baptist.

KELLEY, Ellen was the daughter of Marshall Kelley and Margaret BAKER Kelley. She was born January 1 1872 and died March 28 1956; she married Jim ELKINS, July 1910 and they had 2 girls/1 boy. She was a member of the Elizabeth Church of Old Regular Baptist for over 61 years.

JOHNSON, Joe was born January 27 1892 and died November 13 1955; the son of Abel and Linda Johnson. He married Liddie CHILDERS in 1908 and they had 9 children. Liddie died in 1927 and later he married Sarah HALL in 1930 and they had 2 children. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church in 1946. Written by his sister: Hulda Cook

OSBORNE, Phena was the daughter of William Osborne and Delila TACKETT Osborne, born December 8 1892 and died June 26 1956. Married L. A. TACKETT known as Flock Tackett on December 17 1908 and they had 16 children; five preceded her in death and her husband. She leaves her mother, 3 sisters, one brother 10 dau, one son. She joined the Enterprise Church of Old Regular Baptist February 3 1915.

STEWART, Mary Delphia was born March 12 1887 and died March 24 1937; maried Hiram STEWART and they had 4 girls/3 boys; six are living. Joined the Old Regular Baptist Church 1931.

RIFFE, Sarah Ann was born February 18 1868 and died May 29 1942; she married Floyd SHORT and they had one boy and one girl. Later she married Gabe RIFFE and they had 4 boys and 2 girls. She joined the Bethel Church of Old Regular Baptist.

CANTRELL, Ottie was born November 26 1924 and died February 28 1926

RATLIFF, Ella was born August 17 1874 and died April 16 1943, she was married to W. M. CHILDERS December 9 1888, they had 4 boys/2 girls: Alvin P. Childers, Alpha (Childers) Bartley, Verna Childers, James H. Childers, Eddy childers, and Freddy Childers; 3 died in infancy. She leaves her husband, 3 children: Alvin P, Alpha, Verna: five brothers: Alex Ratliff, John Ep Ratliff, Hammond, J. H. Ratliff, and J. S. Ratliff: three sisters: Louisa Francisco, Idabell Francisco, Mella Childers. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for 43 years.

BALDWIN, Robert was born March 21 1883 and died May 1 1943; the son of John F. and Celia Baldwin. He married Annie CHURCH December 4 1901 and they had 5 girls/4 boys; two died in infancy. He leaves his children, one brother, and his wife. He was buried at the Dry Fork Cemetary at Vancsant. Written by his son, Gene Baldwin

CLEVINGER, Lando was born at Grundy, Virginia December 17 1883 being the son of John and Sally Clevinger and died September 4 1943. He came to Praise, Kentucky in 1903 and married Angie OAKS of Ashcamp, Kentucky in December 1905. They had 10 children; 5 died in infancy leaving 3 boys/2 girls.
