He was a deacon of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

MULLINS, Newton J. born July 31 1902 died June 13 1967, the son of Spencer and Elizabeth Mullins. He married Elizabeth GIBSON December 10 1921 and they had 5 girls/4 boys; one girl preceded him in death. children: Hazel, Irene, Hattie, Wondlee, Fronie; boys: Eldridge D., Edmond S., William R., and Newton, Jr.; sister: dicie Maddan; brother Riley Mullins and D. D. Mullins.

DIXON, Martha was born December 6 1879 to William V. and Dicey (COMBS) Dixon in Letcher Co., Kentucky. She married Joseph E. CORNETT having eight children; she was preceded in death by her husband, 2 children: Curtis and May. She leaves Cahrlie and Earline Whitaker, Crown, Kentucky, Venters and Mattie Dixon of Whitesburg Kentucky; Emma Ison of Linefork, Kentucky, and Joseph Verlon of Harlan, Kentucky. three sisters: Maggie Brown, Blackey, Kentucky, Oma Blair, Blackley, Kentucky, and Anna Bates, Blackey, Kentucky; one brother: Bryant Dixon, Blackey Kentucky. One half sister Mary Belle Jarrett, Tampa, Fla, two half brothers, Curtis Dixon, Chesterfield, Indiana and Kent of Chicago, Il (last known address). On July 7 1940 she married Archie C. CRAFT. She died June 14 1967. Written by her step son: Lewis F. Craft.

DAY, Cora was the daughter of Hiram and Eliza Day; born in Letcher Co., Kentucky on May 2 1893 and died December 10 1965. she married N. M. ELDRIDGE on July 4 1909 and they had 12 children; two died in infancy and one girl at the age of 43 died on November 12 1965 in an automobile accident. She leaves 3 girls: Virgie, Margie, Eliza and 6 boys: Roy, Hargis, Preston, Vilas, Joe, Arnold; two sisters Betty Elddridge and Susan Fields, two brothers: Loyd Day and Joe Day. Her husband died in 1945. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for 37 years.

AMBURGEY, Monroe was born to Wiley and Betty Jane Amburgey on September 17 1882 at Bath, Kentucky and died May 3 1965.. He was married to Dicie COLLINS in 1900 and they had 4 girls/5 boys: Mallie Collins, Cinda Hammons, Virda Franklin, Bulah Combs, Raymond, Haymond, Wiley, Lester and Monroe Jr. Dicie died in 1938; one sister: Cinda Taylor; one brother J. W. Amburgey.

WHITAKER, Nancy Ann was born July 11 1880 and died November 7 1966. The daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (CAUDILL) Whitaker. In 1913, she married Gideon CRASE, they had 2 children: Mr. Tildon Crase, Whitesburg, Kentucky, and Mrs. Lilly Crase, Hallie, Kentucky. She was one of 12 children, four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Living 3 sisters and one brother: Mrs. Sophia Bradley and Bertha Watts, Hallie, Kentucky, Mrs. Linda Miller, Ewing, Kentucky and and Mr. Alamander Whitaker, Hallie, Kentucky. Member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church of Old Regular Baptist.

CAUDILL, Ike was the son of the late William J. and Phoebe Caudill born March 22 1904 he died June 14 1966. He was a retired highway worker. Married Cinda H. Hampton on July 3 1922 and they had 11 children. Cinda was born August 20 1907 and was the daughter of Mose and Judy (BACK) Hampton and she died October 23 1966. The surviving children are: Lovel, Lowell, Mrs. Delores Gibson, and Lott all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lawrence, Iky, Donald, and David of Mansfield, Ohio, Mrs. Delta Caudill of Marrow, Ohio, Mrs. Dana Blair of Jeremiah, Kentucky, and Dorse of Ft. Knox, Kentucky. They both were members of the Dixon Memorial Church of Old Regular Baptist.

JOHNSON, Charlie was the son of George and Lutisha Johnson and born May 30 1910 in Knott Co., Kentucky. He married Evelyn Jones on January 13 1929 and they had 4 boys/3 girls: Gillis, James, Kennith, John, Girls: Margie, Sylvia, Matreva. He died July 28 1967 of Cancer.

STUMBO, Rev. John Morgan was born March 28 1879 and died March 14 1956, the son of John and Jane Stumb. He married ruth Stumbo and they had 12 children; one died in infancy. Ordain minister of the Old Regular Baptist Church was ordained October 11 1941.

OSBORNE, Jerry Franklin was born July 23 1936 and died May 22 1956. The son of Kelley and Mollie Osborne. His sisters: Jewel M. Mullins, Alta b. Slone and gloria F. Hunter all of Geneva Ohio; Beulah L. Johnson of Wales, Kentucky and a brother James K. Osborne Jr. of Wales, Kentucky

SHORTRIDGE, Crecy born February 10 1896 died February 15 1951; married Thomas Shortridge have 3 children, Roy, Frank, and Samantha Shortridge.

SENTER Orville died April 16 1945 in Mr. Alto Veterans Hospital, Washington, DC due to cancer; born near Clintwood Virginia October 2 1893; the son of the late N. M. and Caroline SANDERS Senter. He was a former teacher of Pike County Schools at Jenkins, Kentucky. Severed in WWI, married April 13 1922 Pebble R. Senter. having 4 children, two died ininfancy, surviving, Vivian Doris, Harold Gay and one grandson Victor Burton Ratliff II. Employed by the State of the Highway Dept for 13 years, and for four years a member of the Fiscal Court of Pike County.

WALLACE, Elvira born July 1 1896 died October 21 1953. Her husband preceded her in death. Written by her sister, Mrs. Omega Senter

VEISS, Hettie was the daughter of Joseph and Lesah Veiss born: December 9 1873 died: March 18 1952. Married Charlie TURNER February 20 1890 having 5/boys and 5/girls, 2 girls and 2 boys preceded her in death. She leaves her husband, 3 boys and 3 girls, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

POTTER, Ernest D. born February 27 1922 died February 1954; married Betty LAW July 1953 they moved to Wise, Virginia. and he was killed 7 months later on the motor in the coal mines.

McCLANAHAN, Rev. Troy born April 9 1909 died March 4 1954; married Nomie ELSWICK having 9 children; Don, Ella Mae, Paul, Freddie, Peggy, Troy Jr., Eleanor, Clifford.

PRATER, Mary Jane was born March 6 1875 died July 8 1954; married Gilliam Prater having 8 boys/5 girls, two boys and two girls preceded her in death. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church since 1923. Written by son Ira Prater.

THOMPSON, Sarah was born February 21 1898 died December 9 1953; married J. Whetsil SMITH August 26 1920 having 12 children, 2 died in infancy. She leaves her husband and her children; Mrs. Alta Wallace, Henry Smith, Mrs. Helen Fletcher, Mrs. Thelma Hughes, Edward Smith, Mrs. Edna Coleman, Mrs. Magdeline Clevinger, Frank Smith, Dorsey Smith, and Reese Smith. She also leaves her father, Ben Thompson and brothers and sisters; Mrs. Henry Fields, Home Creek, Virginia., Mrs. Pattie Smith, Portsmouth, Ohio, Mrs. Hibbert Justus, Home Creek, Virginia., Mrs. Glen Endicott, Stacy, Virginia., Theodore and Sam Thompson, Home Creek, Virginia., and George Thompson, Tazewell, Virginia. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Chuch.

WALLACE, Belle born September 30 1885 died September 15 1952. She leaves a husband, 9 children, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Written by her sister, Mrs. Omega Senter

Beverly, Clintwood, Virginia., Stella Yates, Coeburn, Virginia, Oakley Beverly, Branton, West Virginia., brothers: James, Pound Virginia., Cleveland, of Pound Virginia., Louemma Cantrell, Baltimore MD, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church as of 1936

TURNER, Aleda born September 11 1880 died March 9 1954; the daughter of J. B. F. and Cynthia TURNER. Married Russell HALE June 22 1901 having 3 boys/3 girls, one boy died in infancy leaving: Gordon, Ray Hale, Gracie Hale and Hazel Phillips, Castlewood, Virginia., Edith Lee, Longwood Fla. Two brothers, A.E. Turner, and A. L. Turner of Castlewood, Virginia. He joined the Gravel Lick Church of Old Regular Baptist October 7 1911.

BEVINS, Jim born at Lower Pompey Creek, Millard, Kentucky, April 9 1896 died April 21 1954; the son of T. J. and Manerva BELCHER Bevins; married June 29 1929 having 6 girls/3 boys, one son died in 1937. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

RATLIFF, Joel S. born October 10 1878 died June 4 1952; the son of Harrison Raltiff and Louisa COLEMAN Ratliff; married to Mary C. STEWART on December 17 1903 having 2 girls/1 boy; Opal, Oma, and Otis. He left one brother, J. H. Ratliff, Jr. and one sister, Mrs. Mellie Childers. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

PARKER, Berry W. was born March 3 1876 and died August 22 1953. Married Celia BAIZE in 1898 they had 2 girls/1 boy; Celia died November 1906. Then he married Vina SLONE in 1909 they had 3 boys/2 girls; Vina died in 1919, he then married : Polly Ann SLOANE in 1920 they had 5 girls/3 boys. Margie, Frank and Lee Polly are living at home. BLANKENSHIP, Mary Francis, the daughter of Morton and Spicy Blankenship, born April 1 1874 died March 4 1954. Two children were born out of wedlock 1 girl/1 boy. Later she married Alvis JUSTUS and they had 7 children; 2 died in infancy, 5 still living; 3 girls and 2 boys. Member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

BARTLEY, Albert P. was born at Big Branch Kentucky in 1875 and died of a heart attack on July 5 1953. The son of the late B. M. Dock and Elmira ROWE Bartley. He married Victoria WOOD who preceded him in death; 2 surviving girls are Mrs. Maxie Breedlove, Hellier, Kentucky, and Mrs. Violet Marie Justice, Richmond, Virginia; 3 brothers: Jim, John, and Dockie all of Hellier Kentucky and one sister; Mrs. Mary S.
