Junior (J.R.) A. Bagby

Junior (J.R.) A. Bagby, 86, Campbellsville, KY formerly of Cambridge, Ohio passed peacefully November 4, 2014, at Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY after a long and courageous battle with cancer. J.R. was born September 9, 1928 to James and Lela (Acree) Bagby, Greensburg, Ky. Although he fought this disease many years of his life he lived a full and wonderful life with his loving wife Clydene whom he married December 12, 1947. They have three surviving children Larry (Jean) Bagby, Wooster, Ohio, Keith Bagby, Campbellsville and Patty (Ted) Khune, Cambridge, Ohio. Grandchildren, Shane, Shannon, Chad, Justin, Jessi and Kymmie. Great-grandchildren, Michael, Kristin, Lela, Zack, Kyla, Gavin, Gage & Gabi. A special person to J.R. & Clydene who has been like a granddaughter, Joanna Vaughn.

Mr. Bagby was predeceased by his parents, James & Lela Bagby, brothers James, Ellis, Ruppert, Vernon, sister Dimple, a daughter in law, Brenda. He has one surviving sister, Lassie Schmidt of Campbellsville, KY.

As a young couple J.R. & Clydene traveled the U.S. working in factories, the oilfields, managing Hillcrest skating rink and the head sawyer at Hinchcliff Products Co for many years. J.R. was a friend to all that knew him and he will be loved and remembered always. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and his signature laugh and that twinkle in his eyes will bring a smile to us all as we remember his antics and joy in his life.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home of Greensburg KY is taking care of his final arrangements and he will be cremated with no funeral services. His family will have a private gathering to celebrate his Life at a time of their choosing.

It is the request of Mr. Bagby that any donations be sent to Taylor County Animal Shelter, 2175 Hodgenville Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718 in his honor.

Ellen Louise Fields England

Ellen Louise Fields England was born April 23, 1934 in Metcalfe County to the late Leonard and Bertha Fields.

She departed this life Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus, Indiana, having attained the age of eighty years, six months and eight days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Gadyville Baptist Church, where her grandson Keith was her pastor. She was a homemaker. She married Franklin Fields on July 16, 1953 with whom she had 5 children; he preceded her in death on September 19, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Herman Grissom and James Fields; sisters: Jewell McInteer and Myrtle Coomer and a sonin-law: Edward Lloyd on September 25, 2014.

She is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law: Jerry and Lisa Fields of Green Co., Gary and Connie Fields of Seymour, Indiana and David and Bonne Fields of Edmonton, KY, two daughters and one son-in-law: Linda Lloyd and Patricia and Paul Lewis of Columbus, Indiana, one brother and sister-in-law: Edward and Carolyn Fields of Horse Cave, KY, twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Place and Time of Service: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. 10 a.m. Wednesday (Central Time), November 5, 2014

Visitation: 4 until 8 Tuesday and after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home

Interment In: Foundation cemetery in Metcalfe County.

Denise "JoJo" Brown Walden

Denise "JoJo" Brown Walden was born September 19, 1950 in Edinburgh, Indiana to the late Chester L. Brown and Deloris Cornelius Brown-Fuel. She departed this life Friday, October24, 2014 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY, having attained the age of sixty-four years, one month and five days.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Troy A. Nolan and Stacy L. Nolan and her brother: Robert L. Brown. She worked as a bartender and waitress. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary to Post 5813, Greensburg, KY. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Moose Lodge, American Legion and ABATE. Denise loved her family and enjoyed her dogs.

She is survived by two daughters: Tracy Jo Nolan-Jordan of Indiana and Tabatha DeAnn and Bowers of Greensburg, four sisters: Carolyn Sue Endicott, Gertrude L. Jones, Edna Ruth Stopparo and Jennifer Harris, five grandchildren: Michael A. Rice, Mitchell A. Rice, Matthew A. Jacobs, Mark A. Rice and Reid A. Newkirk, great grandson: Miles Rice, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Denise "JoJo" Walden will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. There will be no burial, the family chose cremation. Friends of Denise "JoJo" Walden may call from 11 a.m. Sunday until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.

Jessica Christine Minton

Jessica Christine Castillo Minton was born March 20, 1980 in Orlando, Florida. She departed this life Saturday, October 25, 2014 at her home in Greensburg, having attained the age of thirty-four years, seven months and five days.

Jessica had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Stanley York and William Castillo

She is survived by her mother and step-father: Patricia and Kash Hill and father and step-mother: Mitchell and Belva Castillo, Sr., all of Greensburg, two daughters and one son: Amber Christine Miksell and Brianna Lee Miksell and Sean Michael Volbrecht, all of Greensburg, two brothers: Mitchell Castillo, Jr. and Jason Castillo, both of Greensburg, her grandmothers: Geraldine York of Greensburg and Maggie Castillo of California, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Place and Time of Service: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014

Visitation: 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home

There will be no burial following the service. The family has chosen cremation.

The family has requested that donations be made to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home for funeral expenses.

David Dawson

Mr. David Dawson was born February 23 1936 in Shelby County, Kentucky to the late Noble Thomas and Odessa Mae Wiley Dawson. He departed this life October 17, 2014 at his home in Greensburg, having attained the age of seventy-eight years, seven months and twenty-four days.

David had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Milton, Dwight and Noble Dawson, Mary Tharp and Jean Dawson.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Adkins Dawson and one son: Jessie Dawson of Greensburg, three sisters: Martha Child of Florida, Lois Phelps of Michigan and Marcella Glass of Louisville. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Josie Adkins of Breckinridge County, Lydia Simpson of Edmonton, Robert and Ricky Adkins of Green County, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Betty Jean Jones

Betty Jean Jones was born December 30, 1935 in Marion County, KY to the late Thomas and Roberta Wright Boswell. She departed this life Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, having attained the age of seventy-eight years, eight months and twenty-nine days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Clifford Jones and one sister: Sue Sergeant.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters: Steve Jones of Louisville, Billy Jones and Tracy Copeof Gravel Switch, Joe Bert, Robin Mays and Danny Jones, all of Lebanon, one brother and one sister: Larry Boswell and Ann Ciros, both of California.

Place and Time of Funeral services: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. 6 P.M. Central Time Thursday Evening, October 2, 2014

Visitation: after 1 P.M. Central Time Thursday

Elsie Marie Lile Matney

Elsie Marie Lile Matney was born September 18, 1923 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Tony Lile and Louella Curry Lile. She departed this life Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her home in the Exie Community of Green County, having attained the age of ninety-one years and nine days.

Mrs. Matney had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Protestant Faith. She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie W. Matney; five brothers and four sisters: Otis Lile, Dick Lile, Tude Lile, Jack Lile, Doodle Lile and Beulah Russell, Mozetta Meadows, Christine Thompson and Elave Edwards.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Arnold W. and Shirley Matney of Greensburg, KY, Alvin C. and Kaye Matney of Sulphur Well, KY and Benny Matney of Metcalfe Co., KY, one daughter and son-in-law: Norma L. and Wayne Keltner of Vine Grove, KY. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law: Lois Houk, Ellen Houk and Laverne Lile all of Greensburg, KY., seven grandchildren: Glenda Harlow, Regina Vincent, Marty Matney, Angela Judd, Alvin Dean Matney, Monica Shirley and Josh Matney, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Velva "Darnell" Humphrey Waldman

Mrs. Velva "Darnell" Humphrey Waldman of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Radcliff, KY daughter of the late Arthur Edward Humphrey and Rosa Pipes Humphrey Heard, was born on October 14, 1938 and departed this life on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was 75 years, 9 months and 29 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William "Sonny" Waldman having united in marriage on January 11, 1955. She is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Debora and Jerry D. Bagby of Greensburg and LaJean and Michael Glover of Hudson, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law: Eddie and Coleen Waldman of Weeki Wachee, Florida; seven grandchildren: Cessini, Jalynna, Brandon, Jamie, Jeffery, Sierra and Shelby and one great grandchild: Seany, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Richard Warren Pollitt

Richard Warren Pollitt, age 68 of Greensburg passed away March 31, 2013. He is survived by his wife Helen Pollitt, two step sons: Vincen Cornett of Greensburg and Creed Cornett of Cincinnati, Ohio, his son-in-law: Ron Newman, two grandchildren: Rudy Cornett of Greensburg and Angel Newman of Cincinnati, Ohio.

There will be a memorial service for Richard Warren Pollitt at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Kentucky Veterans cemetery Central, 2501 North Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, Kentucky.
