Dillard L. Janes, 62
Dillard L. Janes, 62, of Columbia, Ky., died at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Ky., after a short illness.
Son of the late Ancil and Gladys Marie Franklin Janes of Adair County, Ky., he was a member of Union Chapel Church and a farmer.
He was married
to Barbara Ann Murphy Janes, who survives.
Survivors also include one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Denise Janes of Columbia; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Danny Stotts of Columbia; two sisters, Ruby Furkin and Margie Keith, both of Columbia; three grandchildren, Jacob Stotts, Chris Stotts and Bradley Stotts; and one great-grandchild, Kendra Stotts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Cody Janes, in 1990.
Funeral was Friday, Oct. 1 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia. Bro. Ronnie Janes officiated. Burial was in Sparksville Baptist Church cemetery in Sparksville, Ky.
Pallbearers Lynn Fletcher, Larry Franklin, Doug Janes, Kenneth Janes, Robert Macland and Craig Swafford.
Marvin Keith, 56
Marvin Keith, 56, of Spurlington Church Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died at 3:55 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at his home.
He was the son of Ruth Turner Keith Bradshaw of Columbia, Ky., and the late John R. Keith.
He was married
to Judy Alexander Keith, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Marty Anderson and Mellany Foster, both of Campbellsville; one brother, Bobby Keith of Columbia; two sisters, Yvonne Harmon and Imogene Spoon, both of Columbia; and four grandchildren, Morgan Anderson, Marcus Anderson, Tyler Anderson and Torie Foster.
Funeral was Monday, Oct. 4 at Grissom Funeral Home in Columbia. Bros. Ralph Hadley and Robbie Spencer officiated. Burial was in Haven Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Harmon, Larry Keith, Randy Keith, Harold Keith, Jason Keith and Shorty Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers were David Campbell, Hershel Harmon and Lyndon Wray.
Thomas D. 'Tommy' Miles, 52
Thomas D. "Tommy" Miles, 52, of Raywick, Ky., died on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the scene of a car crash near Raywick.
Son of the late James Leon and Mary Josephine Hornback Miles, he was born in Marion County, Ky., on July 16, 1952. He operated a drywalling business.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Miles and Tracy Miles, both of Loretto, Ky.; three sisters, Diverial Livers of Lebanon, Ky., Darlene O' Bryan of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Rita Faye Graham of Campbellsville, Ky.; seven brothers, Graves Miles, Johnny Miles and Gordie Miles, all of Louisville, Ky., Marion Miles and Leon Miles, both of St. Francis, Ky., Bernard Miles of Lebanon and Danny Miles of New Haven, Ky.; one grandson, Brycen Miles; and his former wife, Janice Miles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Miles and Sammy Miles.
Funeral was Thursday, Oct. 7 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Francis with cremation to follow. The Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle officiated.
Pallbearers were Tony McCauley, Johnny McCauley, Dan Miles, Joe Livers, Charlie Miles, Chad Miles, Joe Raley and Ronnie Berry.
Honorary pallbearers were his nieces, Christie Coulter, Glenda Miles, Theresa Livers, Ashley Coulter, Debbie O' Bryan, Stacy Miles, Angie Miles, Melissa Miles and Maranda Miles.
Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto handled the arrangements.
Robert Henry Sublett, 70
Robert Henry Sublett, 70, of Lemon Bend Road in Campbellsville, Ky., died on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Son of the late Robert Bert Sublett and Magdaline Paxton Sublett, he was a member of Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a retired farmer.
He was married
to Peggy Clark Sublett, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Robert Adam Sublett of Covington, Ky.; three daughters, Robin Lynn Sublett of Louisville, Rebecca Cordell Webb of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Rachel Sublett Zahniser of Covington; two grandsons, Andrew Cordell and Kevin Benjamin Cordell, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Leonard Sublett of Campbellsville; and three sisters, Odell Sublett and Elaine Sublett, both of Campbellsville, and Betty Lou Holt of Indiana.
Funeral was Friday, Oct. 8 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Ephrim Berry and Bro. Chester Vandyke officiated. Burial was in Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Stubbs, Jimmy Gabehart, Rodney Lemon, Tony Stubbs, David Dudgeon, Eddie Munday, Mike Munday and Matt Wright.

Laveria Tucker Riddle, 66
Laveria Tucker Riddle, 66, of Green County, Ky., died on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg.
Daughter of the late Durwood Tucker and Cecilia Curry Tucker, she was born in Green County on May 13, 1938. She was a member of Trammell Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, James Michael Robertson of Hardyville, Ky.; two daughters, Pamela K. Robertson of Hardyville and Tammy C. Burris of Glasgow, Ky.; six grandchildren, John Christopher Nunn and Dylan Burris, both of Glasgow, Jennifer Burris of Lexington, Ky., Danielle Robertson, Christina Robertson and Sarah Beth Robertson, all of Hardyville; four great-grandchildren, Lucas Rudenga of Chicago, Ill., and Kaitlyn Robertson, Michaela Robertson and Tyler O'Brian, all of Temple Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Landis Tucker and Leland Tucker; and two grandchildren, Joy Beth Rudenga and Michael Dale Robertson.
Funeral was Saturday, Oct. 9 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Rev. Freddie Burton officiated. Burial was in the Pierce Community cemetery.

Edward Arnold 'Pee-Wee' Payton, 74
Edward Arnold "Pee-Wee" Payton, 74, of North Poplar Street in Campbellsville died on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at his home.
Son of the late William Lewis Payton and Loretta Herron Payton, he was a retired member of the Taylor County Road Department.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Mae Squires of Campbellsville; three grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Samuel Payton of Florida; and two sisters, Jean Clark and Juanita Claywell, both of Campbellsville.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Payton.
Funeral was Friday, Oct. 8 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Devin Bishop officiated. Burial was in the Hardin cemetery.

Phillip Wesley Mann, 25
Phillip Wesley Mann, 25, of Old Lebanon Road in Campbellsville died at 7:56 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of Charlotte Caton Hoots and Wes Mann, he was born in Taylor County, Ky. on Jan. 10, 1979.
Survivors also include his step-father, Mark Hoots; his step-mother, Angel Mann; four brothers, Lucas Hoots, Jake Hoots, Jordan Hoots and Nathan Mann; two sisters, Shannon Mann and Dana Mann; and his grandparents, Tricia Holt and Gordon and Lorena Mann, all of Campbellsville.
A private graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 11. The Rev. Paul J. Dicken officiated.
Dorothy Dimple Lawrence, 64
Dorothy Dimple Lawrence, 64, of Valley Station, Ky., died at 11:36 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late Joe Cleber and Mary Gladys Wooten Stotts, she was a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church in Valley Station and a homemaker.
She married
Rubble Lawrence, who preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1970. She later married
James T. Lawrence, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Teresa Fields of Mt. Washington, Ky.; three sons, Eddie Lawrence and James Lawrence Jr., both of Louisville, and Adam Lawrence of Valley Station; one brother, Raymon Stotts of Madison, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Rayburn.
Funeral was Saturday, Oct. 9 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia. Pastor Frank Williams officiated. Burial was in Columbia cemetery.

Paul Everett Harmon, 26
Paul Everett Harmon, 26, of Ray Street in Campbellsville died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Son of Michael J. Harmon and Kathie West Wise, he was born in Taylor County on Dec. 19, 1977. He was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his step-father, Winfrey Wise; his step-mother, Sandi Roby Harmon of Campbellsville; two brothers, Phil Harmon of Louisville and David Wise of Campbellsville; one step-sister Melody Kerns of Campbellsville; grandparents, Dollie Harmon of Campbellsville and Blanche West of Greensburg; step-grandparents, Willard and Delma Wise; and step-great-grandmother, Ollie Goodin of Campbellsville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Harmon on Sept. 18, 1984; and his grandfather, James Everett Harmon on Aug. 28, 1995.
Funeral was Thursday, Oct. 14 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
The Revs. Gene Hall and Brent Gupton officiated. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Doyle Graham, 91
Doyle Graham, 91, of Green County, Ky., died on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at his home.
Son of the late L.V. Graham and Melinda Goff Graham, he was born in Green County on Dec. 25, 1912. He was a member of Summersville Baptist Church, past president of Green County Farm Bureau and a farmer.
He married
Lucille Bale on Oct. 1, 1939. She survives.
Survivors also include four daughters and sons-in-law, Venona and Don Dobson of Georgetown, Ky., Martha and Randall Sullivan and Mary Linda and Gary Landis, all of Greensburg, and Doylene and Bill McGregor of Versailles; 10 grandchildren, Rhea Dobson of Valdosta, Ga., Karen Zamora of Georgetown, Allen Dobson, Nicki Chandler, Eric Landis and Danea Landis, all of Lexington, Ky., Tressie Sullivan of Birmingham, Ala., Jill McGregor and Nick McGregor, both of Versailles, and Alicea Landis of Greensburg; six great-grandchildren, Casey Whatley, Chase Whatley and Cara Chandler, all of Lexington, Kaelyn Dobson of Georgia, Zoe Zamora and Jacob Zamora, both of Georgetown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Elliott Graham; and two sisters, Hazel Hamilton and Nanny Marcum.

Katherine Kirtley Gaddie, 85
Katherine Kirtley Gaddie, age 85, of Campbellsville died on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the Medco Nursing Home in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Ed Kirtley Sr. and Sally Ann Ford Kirtley, she was a member of First Baptist Church, a retired teacher's aide and retired from Metzmeier Nursing Home.
She was married
to Everett Gaddie, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and James Christian of Maywood, Ill., Eugenia and Russell Thurman of Indianapolis, Ind., Josephine Williams of New Albany, Ind., and Louie and Porter Ferrell of Sun City West, Ariz.; and one step-daughter, Frances Clinkscales of Campbellsville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry Kirtley, Leo Kirtley, Ed Kirtley Jr., Melvin Kirtley and Curtis Kirtley.
Funeral was Saturday, Oct. 9 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Michael Caldwell officiated. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

James S. Dabney, 84
James S. Dabney, 84, of Liberty, Ky., formerly of Campbellsville, died at 12:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Liberty.
Son of the late Eddie Thomas Dabney and Nellie Jane May Dabney, he was born in Taylor County on Feb. 28, 1920. He was a member of Elkhorn United Methodist Church and a retired farmer.
He was married
to Reba Hart, who preceded him in death on May 14, 1958. He later married
Louise Morrow, who preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 2002.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, Calvin Keltner of Campbellsville; two nieces, Jenetta Parrish and Karen Sue Gardner, both of Campbellsville; and one nephew, Terry M. Dabney of Campbellsville.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Keltner, Martie Davidson and Mable Murrah; and two brothers, Walter Maurice Dabney and David Dabney.
Funeral was Sunday, Oct. 10 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Gene Shields officiated. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
