Michael David Newman, 63, of Greensburg, Ky., died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Taylor County.

He was the son of the late Leonard Newman and Mary Ellen Miller Newman.

He was married to Barbara Gayle Hagan, who survives.

Funeral was Monday, March 26, at Macedonia cemetery in Green County. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Ann Wells, 71

Barbara Ann Wells, 71, of Campbellsville, died Monday, March 26, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of the late Henry Joseph Mueller and Dorothy Mary St. Rock Mueller, she was born in Norwich, Conn. She was a caregiver and a Jehovah Witness.

Charles Harvey O'Rourke Jr.

Charles Harvey O'Rourke Jr., of New Albany, Ind., died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Robert E. Lee Nursing Home in Indiana.

He was the son of Gladys Gossel and Charles O'Rourke Sr.

He was married to Patricia Ann Sallee O'Rourke. She survives.

Survivors also include three sons, Charles O'Rourke III, Michael O'Rourke, both of Charlestown, Ind., and Brian O'Rourke of Carrollton, Ind.; and a daughter, Debra Wolff of Charlestown.

Little Mark Dulworth, 52

Little Mark Dulworth, 52, of Campbellsville, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, in Campbellsville.

He was the son of Lois Dulworth and the late Henry Russell Dulworth.

Survivors include a daughter and son, Latisha Dulworth of Campbellsville and Evan Tyler Graves of Erlanger, Ky.; two step-children, Amanda Caffee and Allen Whitehead of Campbellsville.

Funeral was Wednesday, June 6, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Mt. Carmel cemetery in Adair County, Ky.

The Rev. Calvin Thomas Vaughn, 51

The Rev. Calvin Thomas Vaughn, 51, of Canmer, Ky., died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at his home.

He was married to Eartha Beard Vaughn, who survives.

Survivors also include two children, Whitney Itialia Vaughn and Cedric Thomas Vaughn of Canmer.

Funeral was Saturday, June 9, at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church in Canmer. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, Ky. was in charge of arrangements.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, Ky. provided local obituary services.

Helen Shelton Kirtley, 94

Helen Shelton Kirtley, 94, of Johnson City, Tenn., formerly of Campbellsville, died Monday, June 4, 2012.

She was the daughter of the Rev. Leslie Thomas Wright and Eva Mae Brock Wright.

She was married to R.G. Shelton. He preceded her in death. She later married Homer R. Kirtley, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Thomas L. Shelton of Beaver Dam, Ky.; two daughters, Marilyn S. Ladd of Decatur, Ala., and Dr. Janice Shelton of Johnson City, Tenn.; and a stepson, Dr. Louis Kirtley of Louisville, Ky.

Nancy D. Milby, 78

Nancy D. Milby, 78, of Greensburg, Ky., originally of Taylor County, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

Survivors include four daughters, Melinda Hall of Greensburg, Cindy Butterfield and Jan English of Louisville, Ky., and Terri Talbott of Greensburg.

Funeral was Sunday, June 10, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bros. Kevin Brantley and Joe Jones officiated. Burial was in Green County Memory Gardens.

Freddy Wayne Estes, 77

Freddy Wayne Estes, 77, of Louisville, Ky., originally of Green County, Ky., died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

Funeral was Saturday, June 9, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bro. Bobby Estes officiated. Burial was in Bethlehem cemetery.

Mary Suzanne Hancock, 68

Mary Suzanne Hancock, 68, of Greensburg, Ky. died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

She was married to Glen Dee Hancock on June 21, 1960. He survives.

Funeral was Monday, June 11, at Greensburg United Methodist Church. Bro. Dale Curry officiated. Burial was in Summershade cemetery.

Bro. Raymond "Greasy" Simpson, 60

Bro. Raymond "Greasy" Simpson, 60, of Greensburg, Ky., died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was the son of Lewis "Bill" Simpson of Greensburg and the late Mary Francis Bryant Simpson.

He was married to Ramona Lobb on Oct. 10, 1992. She survives.

Funeral was Saturday, June 9, at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bro. Wayne Mesker officiated. Burial was in the Judd cemetery.

Dr. Lenwood "Len" Shirrell, 87

Dr. Lenwood "Len" Shirrell, 87, of Frankfort, Ky., originally of Green County, Ky., died Friday, June 8, 2012, at his home.

He was the son of the late Lysle Shirrell and Pernie Shirrell.

Funeral was Monday, June 11, at First Christian Church in Frankfort. Lecompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home in Frankfort was in charge of funeral arrangements.

A graveside service was Tuesday, June 12, at Bethlehem cemetery in Greensburg, Ky., with military honors. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg was in charge of local arrangements.

Raymond Cook, 82

Raymond Cook, 82, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, of congestive heart failure at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky.

Survivors include five children, Billy Cook, Beverly Fischbach and Barbara Hudson of Campbellsville and Becky Smock and Belinda Pennington of Texas; eight grandchildren and five-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Cook.

The family chose cremation. The family is planning a memorial service for July.

Elizabeth Money Coakley, 96

Elizabeth Money Coakley, 96, of Campbellsville, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Louisville, Ky.

The daughter of the late James Robert Money and Louettie Miller Money, she was born in Green County, Ky., on July 11, 1915.

She professed faith in Christ and was a faithful and active member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church for more than 80 years. She was the last surviving member of the Taylor County High School Class of 1934. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She married Paul E. Coakley on Dec. 25, 1936. He preceded her in death June 8, 1993.

She is survived a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sandra Coakley of Frankfort, Ky.; a brother, Vernon Money of Burkesville, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, Altha Lee Sullivan, Morris Money and J.R. Money in infancy.

Funeral was Sunday, June 10, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Larry Rowell officiated. Burial was in Brookside cemetery.

Donald A. Dudgeon, 79

Donald A. Dudgeon, 79, of Campbellsville, died at 6:27 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Willard "Bud" Dudgeon and Louisa Allen Dudgeon, he was born in Taylor County, on March 13, 1933.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a lifelong farmer.

He married Mary Etta Sapp on June 6, 1953. She survives.

Survivors also include two daughters and a son and their spouses, Donna and David Hayes, Henrietta and Steve Barnett and Allen Dudgeon, all of Campbellsville; a granddaughter and two grandsons, Dana Hayes Fuller and her husband, Ches, of Lexington, Ky., and Drew Allen Hayes and Clay Evan Barnett of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren, Clara Grace Fuller and Eli Chesley Fuller of Lexington, Ky.; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Sublett Dudgeon II, on April 18, 1962.

Funeral was Monday, June 11, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. Arnold Moon and Brian Rafferty officiated. Burial was in Brookside cemetery.

Jimmie Kendall, 68

Jimmie Kendall, 68, of Campbellsville, died at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Willard Ray Kendall and Faith True Phillips, he was born in Marion County, Ky., on June 8, 1944.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Kendall Equipment and Kendall Angus Farm. He served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserve.

Survivors include a daughter and three sons, Shellie Rae Kendall and James Willard Kendall II and his wife, Mary, of Campbellsville; Lee Allen Kendall and his wife, Stacy, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and William Tylor Kendall of Destin, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Joshua Lee Kendall, Joseph Wallace Kendall, Jonah Ray Kendall, Leah McCall Kendall, Valarie Michelle, Hailey Jett Kendall, Gavin Lee Kendall, Jesse James Kendall, Henry Dalton Nunn, Andrea Brooke Kendall and Ryder Warren Kendall; six great-grandchildren, Alexis Grace Kendall, Chelsea Ann Kendall, Noah Matthew Kendall, Noah Ray Kendall, Isabella Sue Kendall and Bentley Gordon Kendall; a sister, Mary Lee Kendall Pickett of Louisville, Ky.; a special friend, Brenda Watson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Bell Kendall Jones.

Funeral was Tuesday, June 12, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Michael Goodwin officiated. Burial was in Salem Baptist Church cemetery.

Harlan 'Buster' Sparks, 84

Harlan "Buster" Sparks, 84, of Campbellsville, died at 7:02 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late W. B. Sparks and Onie C. Hayes Sparks, he was born in Adair County, Ky., on Feb. 19, 1928.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. He was a 50-year member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge No. 124 F & A M. He was retired from Kentucky Utilities.

He married Grace Bailey on Nov. 24, 1949. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter and a son and their spouses, Carol and Ivan Tucker of Campbellsville and David and Johnnie Sparks of Lexington, Ky.; four grandchildren, Alison Sparks of Lexington, Kenny Squires and his wife, Sabina, of Louisiana; Richard Squires and his wife, Kristi, of North Carolina, and Jake Squires of Campbellsville; a brother, Uriel C. Sparks and his wife, Linda, of Louisville, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Sparks of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters, Donald Sparks, Thera Reliford and Enola Davidson.

Funeral was Saturday, June 9, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Minister Joe Hatchett officiated. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Flossie Janet Wright, 83

Flossie Janet Wright, 83, of Greensburg, Ky. died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Taylor Russell and Anna Wood Wilcoxson Russell.

Funeral was Thursday, Nov. 18 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial was in Wilson cemetery. Bros. Darrell Vance, Dennis Penick and Greg Estes officiated.
