Lydia Rebecca Hopper, 87 of Bowling Green died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her
residence.
The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Charles and Ora Phelps Pardue. She
was preceded in death by one grandchild, Karla Insco. She was a homemaker, mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a member of
Friendship Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her husband of 70 years Karl Hopper; one daughter, Sue Insco
(Jack); four sons, Clifton Hopper (Judith), Steve Hopper (Judy), Richard Hopper (Lisa),
Bill Hopper (Kellie); ten grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great
grandchildren; one brother, Ray Deweese; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
with burial in Friendship Church cemetery. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home.

Bobby Joe Priddy, 64 of Rockfield died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 at the Hospice House.
The Edmonson County native was a son of the late Pleas, Sr. and Anna Laura "Helen"
Gilliam Priddy and is preceded in death by eight brothers, Vernal, Thomas, Henry,
James, Darrell, Pleas, Jr., Roger and Michael Priddy and his brother-in-law, C.W. Lewis.
He was a factory worker and of the Church of Christ faith.
His survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda Jones Priddy; his son, Brian Priddy
(Tia) his daughter, Dana Earheart (Greg); one grandson, Bryce Priddy; one brother,
Robert Priddy (Helen), four sisters, Genova Vincent (Norris), Vasta Lewis, Deneise Vicic
(Joe), Debbie Oliver (Donnie); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
with burial in Kinser cemetery. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Virginia Lois Gilbert, 90 of Bowling Green died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her
residence.
The Indiana native was a daughter of the late William and Mary Oyler McCoy and is
preceded in death by her husband Clifton Gilbert. She was a homemaker and of the
Pentecostal faith.
Her survivors include two daughters, Linda Mitchell and Rebecca Cox; eight
grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews.
No services will be at this time as cremation was chosen. Arrangements by Hardy & Son
Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.

Alonzo Feltner, 64 of Bowling Green died Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Medical Center.
The Hazard Ky native was a son of the late William and Amelia Ritchie Feltner and was
preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. He was a coal miner and of the baptist
faith.
His survivors include his wife Lera Fugate Feltner; his children, Rocksetta Fugate,
Amelia Feltner, William Feltner (Brittany) and Carl Feltner; two grandchildren, Chelsea
Fugate & Tyler Fugate; six brothers, Elliott Feltner, Eugene Feltner, Carl Feltner, David
Feltner, Albert Feltner, James Feltner; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday 12-3 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with
funeral service at 3 p.m. Cremation is to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home,
3098 Louisville Rd., Bowling Green, Ky 42101 for funeral expense.

Sandra Lucille Hagan, 59 of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her
residence. The Indiana native was a daughter of the late John and Thelma Morphew
Beasley and was preceded in death by her husband Ricky Hagan, Sr., a son Andrew
Hagan; four sisters, Linda Beasley, Kathy Beasley, Shirley Smith, and Norma Masey; six
brothers, Charles Beasley, Robert Beasley, Morris Beasley, Jerry Beasley, Ricky Beasley,
and Larry Beasley. She worked in physical therapy for Mediplex, a member of Christian
Fellowship Church and a member of Moose Lodge #1592 in Greencastle, Indiana.
Sandra is survived by her Fiance' Larry Coffman; four sons, Paul Hagan, Ricky Hagan,
Jr., Jeremiah Hagan (Stephanie), and Timothy Hagan (Cindy); nineteen grandchildren;
two great grandchildren, and one sister, Wanda Hagan.
Funeral service is at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green
Chapel, with burial in Plum Springs cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. -- 8:00 p.m.
Friday and 9:00 a.m.--11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Steven Ray Hendrick, 63 of Glasgow passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Hosparus
of Louisville The Warren County native was a son of the late Marshall and Neil
Thompson Hendrick. He was a contractor and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church
and Knights of Columbus.
He was the beloved husband of Maureen Frazer Hendrick; loving father of Derrick
Hendrick (Tifany) and Jason Hendrick (Lisa) and caring grandfather to his five
grandchildren, Cadence Hendrick, Knox Hendrick, Dawson Hendrick, Taylor Hendrick,
Adelyn Hendrick; one brother, Charles Hendrick (June); four sisters, Shirley Whitley,
Delores Donoho (Ralph), Jane Rector (Charles), Brenda Rector (Wayne); several nieces
and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral
Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Cremation was chosen

Craig Daniel Chandler, 42 of Bowling Green died Saturday, May 21, 2016 due to a
motorcycle accident.
The Warren County native attended Northside Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed
riding his motorcycle with his friends.
His survivors include his mother and step father, Jerry and Howard Hatcher; his father
and step mother, Chick and Loretta Chandler; a daughter, Danielle Gibson (Jimbo); four
grandchildren; two brothers, David Chandler (Shelley) and Chad Chandler (Kathy); two
step brothers, Jonathan White and Lee Hatcher; four step sisters, Angela Schmitz, Laurie
Turpin, Debbie Moran, Diana Hatcher; his companion, Gina Sneed; many nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
with burial in Fairview cemetery #2. Visitation (12) 1-8 Monday and 9-2 Tuesday at the
funeral home.

LINDA LORRAINE SHEPARD
Linda Lorraine Shepard, 60 of Munfordville died Thursday, May 19. 2016 at her
residence with her children by her side.
The Hillsboro, Missouri native was a daughter of the late Robert Earl and Fannie Mae
Pashia Leas and was preceded in death by a baby sister, Mary Elizabeth. She was a
homemaker and was manager at Bryce’s Bypass Laundromat.
She is survived by her children; Steven Hoff, Monica Milam (Kelly), James Hoff, Jamie
McDonald (Roger), Amanda Reynolds (Thomas), Brandy Keith (Chris), Ashley
McCubbin (Todd); twelve grandchildren; Joshua Milam, Samara Milam, Tyler Hutton,
Brandon Bennett, Samantha Bennett, Ace Miller, Jonathan Hoff-Evans, Zoe Reynolds,
Keira Reynolds, Corrie Keith, Robert Keith, Brooke McCubbin, Punkin McCubbin and a
baby boy due to arrive in September, Gunner McCubbin; a brother; David Leas.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green
Chapel with burial in Boiling Springs cemetery. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

Matthew Norman Simon, 95 of Bowling Green died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Chandler
Assisted Living with his children at his side.
Norman was the husband of the late Genevieve Rich Simon. The Edmonson County
native was a son of the late James William and Ion Duvall Simon. He was preceded in
death by three sisters, Nina Mayhugh, Madge Simon, Gertie Anderson; three brothers,
Amon Simon, Harold Simon, Reynold Simon. He was founder and co-owner of Simon
Masonry and a farmer. Norman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a
WWII Marine veteran.
Since his wife’s death 33 years ago, he continued to be the steady guide and beacon of
their family values. Their children were blessed to have Norman and Genevieve Simon
as their parents.
His survivors are his four children: Randy Simon, Debby Cherry (David), Libby Simon
(Brent Rowe), Terry Simon (Judy); three grandchildren, Simon Cherry, Jenna Cherry,
Sonia Simon; one sister-in-law, Ila Simon; several nieces and nephews; his caregiver,
Shirley Malone; friends, Mike Murphy, Joyce Webb, Sue Stringer and George Comfort.
Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St.
Joseph cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 on Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home
Bowling Green Chapel with prayer service at 3 p.m. Visitation will also be 9-12 on
Thursday at the funeral home.
The family extends their appreciation to Chandler Assisted Living, Home Ministry
Programs of St. Joseph and Holy Spirit Catholic Churches and Hospice.

MICHAEL RAY PENDERS
Michael Ray Penders, 59 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his
residence.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Melva Welch Penders.
Mr. Penders was of the Baptist faith, he was a United States Marine veteran, a self-
employed painter, plumber, carpenter and also a factory worker.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Penders; a son Cody Penders (Amanda); a sister Vickie
Boone; a brother Kenneth Penders, Jr.; two grandchildren Conner Penders and Kenlee
Penders; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
with burial in Fairview cemetery #2. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home. Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the funeral home.

Charles William Beck, 96 of Bowling Green died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Signature
Healthcare with family at his side.
The Warren County native was a son of the late William Alford and Lela Ann Miller
Beck and husband of the late Mary Schaff Beck. He was a shipping clerk for Fruit of the
Loom and a member of West End Church of Christ. He was a WWII Army veteran.
His survivors include his daughter Georgia Brooks and her husband Roger ; a
granddaughter, Wendy Allen Shelburne; one brother, Jimmy Beck and several nieces and
nephews; two step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great great
grandchildren
Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel
with burial with military honors at Fairview cemetery #2. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.
