Mr. Jeff Allen Olson, age 49 of Franklin, died Wednesday, March 14th, 2012, at the Medical Center in Franklin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Friday at 3pm with burial to follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. A native of Warren County, he was the son of the late Floyd James Olson and Nina Shaw Cowles who survives in Franklin. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father - Bill Cowles of Franklin; 1 son - Jonathan Olson and wife Karen of Bowling Green; 1 daughter - Jennifer Olson of Dunmor; 3 brothers - Junior Olson of Bowling Green, Scotty Olson of Franklin and Billy Cowles of Bowling Green; 3 sisters- Melissa Wemyss of Auburn, Teresa Medley of Auburn and Michelle Rohrs of Franklin; 1 grandchild. Visitation will begin at 1pm Thursday and after 6am Friday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mr. Quint C. Fryer, age 92 of Franklin, died Tuesday, March 13th, 2012, at the Medco Center in Franklin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 10am with burial to follow in the Spring Hill cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. A native of Davidson County Tennessee, he was the son of the late Albert R. Fryer and Susan M. Willis Fryer. Mr. Fryer graduated from Goodlettsville, TN High School, attended Vanderbilt University, Cumberland University and Missouri Aviation Institute. He was drafted into the military service in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. His overseas duty included 2 ½ years in the southwest Pacific with the 13th Air Force, seventeenth photo reconnaissance squadron of the 4th photo wing, attaining a rating or tech-sergeant as a crew-chief/flight engineer. He was employed in the United States Postal Transportation Service, deputy clerk in Davidson County Tennessee Circuit Courts and as City Manager of Goodlettsville, TN. Fryer was president of the Goodlettsville High School graduating class of 1937, past president of Bowen-Campbell Association, and the Goodlettsville area Chamber of Commerce, senior vice commander of VFW Post 6993 in Goodlettsville, adjuvant general and life member. He became a member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church at an early age and served in many positions in district and conference matters. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years - Virginia Fentress Fryer. He is survived by his daughter - Jane Williams and husband Roger of Franklin; 1 sister- Nelle Liggett of Alexandria, VA; 1 brother- Gideon W. Fryer of Knoxville, TN; 2 granddaughters - Jennifer Gregory and husband John and Joanie Madison and husband DeWayne all of Franklin along with many great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Friday and after 6am Saturday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary Josephine Siske Mann, age 89 of Franklin, died Tuesday March 13th, 2012, at the Commonwealth Regional Medical Center in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Friday at 1pm with burial to follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. A native of Todd County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Newton Allen Siske and Eunice Mae Russell Siske. Mrs. Mann was retired from the Kendall Company and was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband - Douglas Mann, 2 sons - Joe and Robert Mann and a daughter - Marsh Mann. Survivors include 4 children - James Mann of Franklin, Mary Hanner of Taylor, Michigan, Linda Sullivan and Anita Phelps both of Franklin; 2 brothers - J.W. Siske of Franklin, Steve Siske of Scottsville; 3 sisters - Esther Mingle and Virginia Briley both of Murfressboro and Geneva Gregory of Wichita Falls, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11am Thursday and after 6am Friday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mr. Gary Dean 'Rabbit' Gregory, age 54, of Franklin, died Tuesday, March 6th, 2012, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 1pm with burial to follow in Auburn cemetery. A native of Logan County, he was the son of the late Bob Gregory and Alice Smith Gregory. He was a self employed carpenter and handyman. He was preceded in death by his wife - Debbie Gregory and 2 brothers - Jerry & Ricky Gregory. Survivors include 1 son - Michael Gregory of Franklin and 1 daughter - Sherry Bryant of Franklin; companion - Alice Bratcher of Franklin; 5 sisters - Patty Dixon of Bowling Green, Brenda Manning of Auburn, Lisa Boyd of Auburn, Linda King of Auburn and Becky Gregory of Auburn; 3 brothers - Stevie Gregory, James Wayne Gregory and Larry Gregory all of Auburn; 6 grandchildren - Preston Gregory, Dalton McCormick, Erika McCormick, Taylor McCormick, Aaron Gregory and Kathy Gregory. Visitation will begin at 1pm Friday and after 6am Saturday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Velma Louise Hammack Brandon, age 84 of Franklin, died Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill cemetery. A native of Macon County Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John William Hammack and Lucy Jane Brawner. She was a homemaker and a child caregiver for many years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her husband - James Robert Brandon; 2 children - Ronnie Clay Brandon and Lily Jane Brandon and 1 grandaughter - Kari Lee Stephens. Survivors include 8 children - Jerry Brandon of Bowling Green, Brenda Tuttle of Portland, Wanda Powers of Franklin, Diann Moore of Franklin, Debbie Deweese of Franklin, Cindy Stephens of Adolphur, Pam Womack of Franklin and Phillip Brandon of Adolphus; 1 sister - Dorothy Knight of Franklin; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 3pm Wednesday and after 6am Thursday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mr. Willie Opal Dodson, age 54 of Hudson, KY, died Saturday, March 3rd, 2012, in Leitchfield, KY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11am in the Woodburn cemetery in Woodburn, KY. A native of Warren County, he was the son of the late John Dillingham Dodson and Reba Craft Dodson. He was a member of the Woodburn Baptist Church.l Survivors include 6 brothers - Malcolm Dodson and wife Linda of Louisville, Charles G. Dodson and wife Kathy of Rockfield, John Dodson and wife Wanda of Woodburn, David Dodson and wife Vickie of Franklin, James Dodson and wife Patricia of Franklin, Sam Dodson and wife Teresa of Russellville; 4 sisters - Bonnie Shain and husband Arzie of Leitchfield, Betty Dodson and Dianne Dodson both of Woodburn and Omie Nethery and husband Jim of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews and a special friend Linda Lepescucci. Visitation will be 4to 8pm Tuesday and after 6am Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mayzell Fern Rather Pedigo, age 78 of Franklin, died Friday, October 19th, 2012 at the Medical Center in Franklin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday at McKendree Chapel cemetery. A native of Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Eula Rather. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Pedigo, 1 sister Lila Taylor and 1 brother Paul James Rather. Survivors include 4 children Joyce Pedigo Pais (Mark), David N. Pedigo, Thomas Pedigo (Leigh Ann) all of Franklin and Jeff Pedigo (Pam) of Florence, KY; 2 sisters Rose Poston of Franklin and Marian Douglas of Sarasota, FL; 5 grandchildren Amanda Pedigo, Stephanie Manning, Brandy Pedigo, Abbey Pais and Luke Pais (deceased); 2 great grandchildren Hayleigh Boyd and Logan Manning. Visitation will be from 3pm to 8pm Sunday and 9am to 1pm on Monday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Agnes Carter, age 77 of Franklin, died Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at the Southern Kentucky Hospice Center in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at the Loving Chapel Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Foster Bell Hassell and Nannie Hunt Hassell. Mrs. Carter had been employed by Potter & Brumfield in Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband Ross Carter, 2 sisters Gertie Turner and Nellie Hassell and a brother Arthur Hassell. Survivors include 6 children Roger Stewart of Woodburn, Fonda Bryant and husband Rayburn, Rita Anderson, Ken Anderson and wife Kimberly (deceased), Cindy Atkins and husband Carl, and Tommy Turner all of Franklin; 1 step daughter - Janice Carter of Franklin; 1 sister Betty Nolan of Franklin; 6 grandchildren and 11great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Tuesday and after 6am Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 11am Wednesday.

Ms. Judy Landrum, age 84 of Franklin, died Sunday, September 30th, 2012 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1pm in the Shiloh cemetery in Allen County. A native of Allen County, she was the daughter of the late Rector Yates and Nannie Willoughby Yates. She was a clerk at the former Arnold Drug Company in Franklin. Survivors include 4 children William Ogles of Glasgow, Bobby Ogles of Glasgow, Betty Raines of Franklin and Gerald Ogles of Franklin; 1 brother- Elree Yates of Scottsville; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Betty Sue Cardwell Munson, age 71 of Franklin, died Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin. Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2pm in Sulphur Spring cemetery with Rev. Brandon Caudill officiating. A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Claypool Cardwell and Estelle Gore Cardwell. She had worked as a waitress and was a member of Sulphur Spring Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother - John Cardwell and a sister- Norma Jean Ghent. Survivors include her husband - Robert Munson of Franklin; 2 sons - Bobby Munson and Peter Munson both of Franklin; 2 sisters- Shirley Caudill of Franklin and Helen McMillin of Franklin. Visitation will begin at 11am Wedneday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorothy AnnaRee Brown Gumm, age 79 of Franklin, died Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1pm Thursday at the Loving Chapel Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A native of Alvaton, KY she was the daughter of the late James Henry Robert Brown and Georgia Vontress Brown. She was a former employee of the Kendall Company and was a member of Loving Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James D. Gumm and children Walter Clayton Gumm, David Carlton Gumm and Kimberly Sharon Gumm Anderson. Survivors include 3 children Venessa Starks and husband Samuel of Franklin, Georgia Smith and husband Joe of Franklin and James Kevin Gumm of Franklin; 1 brother Rev. Robert L. Brown and wife Lunell of Alvaton; 1 sister Eva Edison of Alvaton; grandchildren Chris & Jonathan Starks, Sherita Dawkins, Corey Gumm, Kenneth Lynn Anderson, Jr. and David Leslie Gumm; 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Wednesday and after 6am Thursday at Crafton Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church Thursday from 11am until funeral time.

Mrs. Myrtle Rupe Berry, age 98 of Woodburn, died Friday evening, September 21st, 2012 at the Medical Center of Franklin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday at 1pm with burial to follow in Chapel Hill cemetery in Bowling Green. A native of Adair County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elroy Rupe and Worthia Witty Rupe. She was the oldest member of Salmons General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband C.M. Berry. Survivors include 2 sons- Bobby Berry of Franklin and Jim Berry of Woodburn; 3 daughters- Maxine Pitt of Monument, Colorado, Polly Baker of Franklin and Margaret Cassady of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm Monday and after 6am Tuesday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Ms. Armeda May Metheny, age 81 of Franklin, died Monday, September 17th, 2012 at her residence. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 1pm with burial to follow in Green Lawn cemetery. A native of Bucyrus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David H. Aller and Harriot V. Fahl Aller. Ms. Metheny worked as a hostess at the Cracker Barrel in Franklin and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter - Jenny LeAnn Metheny. Survivors include 5 children - Sandy Jones Bussard and husband Tom of Bowling Green, David Metheny and wife April of Franklin, Penny Metheny of Hendersonville, TN, Judy Riddle and husband Gene of Marion, TX and Harold Metheny and wife Gina of Franklin; 2 sisters - Ruth Spurlock of Bucyrus, Ohio and Donna James of Galion, Ohio; 1 brother - John Aller of Sevierville, TN; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will begin at 9am Wednesday and after 6am Thursday at Crafton Funeral Home.

Army Specialist LeeRoy Chris Lacy, II of Lakewood, Washington died Sunday, September 9th, 2012, in South Dakota as a result of a vehicle accident. Lee was active duty military and enroute to Fort Lewis, Washington. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 1pm with burial to follow in Green Lawn cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joy Franklin and Landis Franklin and Sgt. Major LeeRoy Chis Lacy. Lee is survived by his children, Mitchel and Serenity Lacy of Jacksonville, Florida; his parents, Karen Lacy Stewart and David Stewart of McMinville, TN, and Bob Lacy of Jonesboro, Louisiana; grandmother - Regina Franklin of Franklin, KY, grandmother- Dixie Lacy; two aunts, Rowena Lewis (Arless) DeRidder of Louisiana and Monica Franklin (Mark Rutherford) of Knoxville, TN; 3 cousins, Rich (Amie) Lewis, Robby Lewis and Connor Hill, step siblings, Michael Stewart Amy Stewart, Kevin Stewart and Bryan Stewart, former wife and mother of his children - Sheree Lacy and her parents Debbie and Mike Haymon and lst Sgt. Jackson and his Army Family. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18 from 5pm to 8pm at Crafton Funeral Home
