Scotty Ragan, 58, of Scottsville, Ky died at 6:47 P.M. Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Bowling Green, Ky native was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor and a son of the late Marvin Wilson Ragan and Gladys Pauline Rush Ragan, of Scottsville, Ky, who survives.

He is survived by his Wife: Peggy Ragan, Scottsville, Ky;
1 Daughter: Lindsey Ragan and companion, Colton Havener, Scottsville, Ky;
2 Sons: Nicholas Wilson, Bowling Green, Ky and Jamie Ragan, North Carolina;
His Mother: Pauline Ragan, Scottsville, Ky;
2 Sisters: Nancy Sams and husband, Rev. Wendell, Auburn, Ky; Paulette Thompson and husband, Jimmy, Frankfort, In;
His Mother-in-Law: Chloe Forsberg and husband, Ken, Alvaton, Ky;
2 Sisters-in-Law: Diane Minix, Scottsville, Ky and Suzy Rupe, Bowling Green, Ky;
1 Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Jimmy Ragan and Milton Ragan.

Funeral services for Scotty Ragan will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Tabor and Bro. Kimble Willoughby officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.

Harold G. Marcum
April 2, 1927 - March 20, 2009

Harold G. Marcum, 81, of Scottsville, Ky died at 6:50 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2009 at Medco of Franklin. The Allen County, Ky native was a farmer and attended Mt. Union General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Scott Marcum and Iva Jane Marcum.

He is survived by 7 Nieces: Deloris Hunter, Ruvine Watson, Novella Hurt, Ladonna Miller, Darlene Oliver and Julia Oliver, all of Scottsville, Ky; wanda Pruitt, Franklin, Ky;
3 Nephews: Glendal Cornwell, Derrick Martin and Anthony Martin, all of Scottsville, Ky;
He was preceded in death by 4 Sisters: Earline Marcum, Grace Bruce, Georgia Cornwell and Edna Marcum and 2 Brothers: Ernestine Marcum and Carrol Marcum.

Funeral services for Harold G. Marcum will be 4:30 P.M. Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Mt. Union General Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home.

Waymon Shorty Spears
October 17, 1939 - March 20, 2009

Waymon "Shorty" Spears, 69, of Adolphus, Ky died 3:00 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2009 at his residence. The Burkesville, Ky native was a carpet layer and a son of the late Willie George Spears and Cora Ellen Rhodes Spears.

He is survived by his Wife: Suzanne Spears, Scottsville, Ky;
2 Sons: William Carl Spears and fiancee' Tracey, Middletown, In; Joshua Michael Spears and wife, Amanda, Scottsville, Ky;
4 Daughters: Lenora Ellen Sarantos and husband, Chris, Adolphus, Ky; Jeri Parker, Bowling Green, Ky; Kathy Waldrop and husband, Monte, Elkton, Ky; Ginny Spears and fiance' Justin, Lewisburg, Ky;
3 Sisters: Bertie Darling and husband, Charles, Kennard, In; Lenora Hart, Scottsville, Ky; Helen Gibson, New Castle, In;
Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Waymon "Shorty" Spears will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 23, 2009 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Townsend officiating and cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made toward funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.

Biography
Shirley D. Costello, 68, of Fountain Run, Ky died at 2:15 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2009 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. The Fountain Run, Ky native was a former employee of Kentucky Apparel, Stitches, Colonial Manufacutring and Jonez and member of Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Johnny Clay Hale and Mamie Gertrude Harp Hale.

She is survived by her Husband: Douglas Costello, Fountain Run, Ky;
1 Son: George Michael Costello, Franklin, Ky;
3 Daughters: Vanessa Meredith and Tina Duke and husband, Danny, all of Glasgow, Ky; Tracy True and husband, Ernest, Fountain Run, Ky;
1 Sister: Linda Sue Davis and husband, George Edward, Tompkinsville, Ky;
4 Grandchildren: Richard Neal Smith and wife, Carolyn Diane and Dustin True, all of Fountain Run, Ky; Devin Cherry, Glasgow, Ky; Brandi Costello and fiance' Brandon Wisdom, Tompkinsville, Ky;
2 Great Grandsons: Ethan Lane Smith and Caleb Wyatt Smith.
