Jack Lewis Richardson, Sr.

March 11, 1932 -March 9, 2001

Jack Lewis Richardson Sr. age 68 of Glasgow died Friday March 9 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.

He was born In Glasgow to the Late Tom Richardson and Pearl Shaw Richardson of Glasgow who survives.

He was a local Plaster Contractor. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist church and currently attending Coral Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one sister Katherine Elliott and One Brother: Jimmy Richardson.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years. Jeanetta Levi Richardson. Three Daughters: Linda Mutter and her husband Joe of Glasgow, Judy Eaton and her husband Steve of Campbellsville, Sandra Nunn and her husband Jeff of Glasgow. Two Sons: Jack Richardson Jr. and his wife Sharon, Roger Richardson and his wife Michelle both of Glasgow. His Mother: Pearl Richardson of Glasgow. Ten Grandchildren: Bennie Mutter and his wife Lori, Lori White and her husband and her husband Chad, Misty Mutter, Savannah Richardson, Heather Richardson, Brock Nunn and Brooke Nunn all of Glasgow. Brandy Pedigo, Brian Pedigo and Brittany Eaton all of Campbellsville. One Great Grandchild: Casey Sherfey Two Brothers: William Richardson of Glasgow and Tom Wood Richardson of Louisville. Two sisters: Jo Ann Ball of Knob Lick and Lucy Crain of Munfordsville.

Funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call a the funeral home after 5:00 P.M. Saturday.

B. C. (Clyde) Pedigo

December 23, 1917 - December 20, 2004

B. C. (Clyde) Pedigo, 86, North Jackson Highway, Glasgow, died Monday, December 20, 2004, at the NHC Health Care Center. A son of the late Hershel and Vera Sims Pedigo, he was a retired cabinet maker, a member of Glasgow Senior Citizens and the New Salem Methodist Church .

Survivors include one daughter, Runnell Proffitt of Glasgow ; a grandson, Scott Pedigo of Glasgow ; a great-grandson, Acea; and several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Polson Pedigo and his son, David Pedigo.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Robbie M. Payne

December 9, 1932 - January 15, 2008

Robbie Payne, 75, Glasgow, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late James and Nell Farley Davis, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her Husband, Marion Payne; one daughter: Betty Tibbs (Paul Williams); two sons: Frank Payne (Melinda Payne), Danny Payne (JoAnn Patterson); one daughter-in-law: Denise Payne; seven grandchildren: Shelly Thomas, Samantha Pedigo, Missy Vernon, Jimmy Payne (Jennifer), Phillip Kelly, Amy Payne, Kaylee Payne; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister: Evelyn Kessinger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Payne and one grandson, Joey Tibbs.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mary V. Peterson

March 2, 1922 - October 25, 2008

Mary V. Peterson, 86, Glasgow, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The daughter of the late Thomas M. and Corinne Johnson Lee, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Lee Peterson Cox and her husband, Philip, of Glasgow; one grandson, Lee Cox and wife, Connie, of Glasgow; two great-grandchildren, Dawson Lee Cox and Lexi Shea Cox; two sisters-in-law, Anna Powell Lee of Cave City and Jean Peterson Simpson of Glasgow.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Peterson, Jr. and her brother, William A. “Billy” Lee.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Nona Oaks

February 3, 1919 - January 29, 2007

Nona Catherine Oaks, 87, formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, January 29, 2007, in New Albany, IN. A daughter of the late Clyde and Elsie Daffron Chaplin, she was a retired seamstress at Handmacher.

Survivors include one son, Gary Lee Oaks and his wife, Mary Mitchell, of New Albany; four grandchildren, Angie Gilliam and husband, Bobby, of Scottsville, Stacy Oaks of Glasgow, Kevin Oaks and wife, Lisa, of Eustis, FL, and Tyson Oaks and wife, Christine, of Henryville, IN; one brother, Melvin Chaplin; two sisters, Barbara Cade and Martha Honey; 6 great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Rhonda Goff Martin

Rhonda Gail Goff Martin, 33, of Edmonton died Friday, March 22, 2002 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of Ronnie Goff and Sherrill Synder Goff. Rhonda was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Besides her parents she is survived by her husband Michael; one brother: Jim Goff and his wife Christina of Edmonton. Two grandparents and numerous relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 30 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1163 Trojan Trail in Glasgow. Emily Daniela Ruiz-Maldonado

April 16, 2002 - June 20, 2008

Emily Daniela Ruiz-Maldonado, age 6, Glasgow, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She was the daughter of Juan Ruiz and Veronica Maldonado and had just completed kindergarten.

Along with her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Alexandra Ruiz and Veronica Ruiz; paternal grandparents, Armando Ruiz and Maria Fitz Juarez; and maternal grandparents, Luis Maldonado Lopez and Gloria Rios Juarez.

Funeral and burial will be held in Acapulco, Mexico at a later date. Friends may call at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008.

Mary Elizabeth Morgan

April 30, 1925 - April 8, 2004

Mary Elizabeth Morgan, 78, Glasgow , died Thursday, April 08, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A native of Barren County , she was a daughter of the late J.K. and Lena Adams Walden. She was a retired line worker at Sorensen’s and attended the Slick Rock Nondenominational Church .

Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Houchens Stephens and her fiancée Ray Hurst of Smiths Grove, Joyce Morgan Underwood and her husband, Frank of Columbus, IN, Mary Morgan Christensen and her husband, Bob, of Glasgow, Loretta Huff Greene and her husband, Jerry, of Eighty-Eight; one son, Donnie Morgan and his wife, Sue, of Columbus, IN; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Frances Stepp; one grandchild, Royce Clark Settles III; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lita McDaniel

October 6, 1932 - June 6, 2004

Lita McDaniel, 71, Glasgow , died Sunday, June 6, 2004 , at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Metcalfe County , she was a daughter of the late Leon Barbour and John Gilbert Yates. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church .

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth “Red” McDaniel; two daughters, Beverly Vance and her husband, Donnie, of Glasgow, and Vicki Snapp and her husband, Jeff, of Florida; one son, Alan McDaniel of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jason Vance and his wife, Amanda, of Morehead, Laurie Basham and her husband, Cortney, of Bowling Green, David Vance of Glasgow, Tina McNamara and April McNamara and her late husband, Tommy, all of Indianapolis; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Lynn McNamara; one sister, Marjorie Word and her husband, Harry, of Glasgow; one brother, John G. “Bubby” Yates and his wife, Sue, of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mary Lee Redford

June 2, 1920 - March 2, 2004

Mary Lee Redford, 83, Goodnight, died Tuesday, March 02, 2004 , at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Danville , KY , she was a daughter of the late Lillian Wetherington and Lucian C. Dunn. She was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School and received her nursing degree from Baptist Hospital in Louisville . She worked as a surgical nurse at Howard Clinic and then later as a registered nurse in the office of Dr. Daryl Harvey.

Survivors include two nieces, Virginia Lee Phillips of Portage , IN and Virginia F. Redford of Glasgow ; three nephews, Michael S. Stamper of Columbus , IN , Mark Stamper of Chicago and Gary Stamper of Mt. Pleasant , SC ; a cousin, Margaret Hurst of Marion , IN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. B. Redford, Jr.; a sister, Virginia Belle Stamper; one brother, Louis Dunn; and one nephew, Carroll M. Redford, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Elma Hall Redman

August 12, 1910 - October 18, 2001

Elma Hall Redman, 91, of Glasgow, died Thursday, October 18, 2001 at the NHC Nursing Home in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Charles Elmore Hall and Cora Matilda Richardson Hall and the wife of the late Waldo Redman. She was a home economist with Kentucky Utilities and was the field representative for the State Central Committee of the Kentucky Federation of Republican Women. She retired as state organization chairman of the Republican Party July 1, 1975. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow.

She is survived by four daughters: Helen Joyce Luster and her husband Robert of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Judith Ann Shivley and her husband Thomas D. of Roseville California, Martha Lou Miller of Avon Lakes, Ohio and Mary Hall Goodman and her husband Joe Lewis, III of Glasgow; Twelve grandchildren and Thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Glasgow with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the First Christian Church. After the service there will be a reception in the fellowship hall at the First Christian Church.

Eugenia Richardson

May 9, 1919 - September 1, 2008

Eugenia H. Richardson, 89, Glasgow, died Monday, September 01, 2008, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Oldham County, she was a daughter of the late Waller and Leona VanZant Crenshaw, a retired employee of Mallory Capacitor and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include eight children, Jimmy Richardson and wife, Carol, of Louisville, Larry W. Richardson and wife, Darlene, Bobby A. Richardson and wife, Scarlet “Wendy”, Janice Nadile and husband, Ronnie, Carolyn Brooks and husband, Dana, all of Glasgow, Doris Richardson and Joyce Richardson both of Edmonson County, and Jeff Richardson of Glasgow; 14 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Richardson; three children, Tommy Richardson, Betty Sharon Richardson and Donald Ray Richardson; one sister, Nadine Knight.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
