Danny Ray Pedigo

Danny Ray Pedigo, 65, of Glasgow, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at his residence. He was the son the the late Raymond Pedigo and Bessie Jane Jessie Pedigo. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and a self employed truck driver known by others as “Santa Claus”.
He is survived by his wife Judy Pedigo; three sons: Tim Pedigo and his wife Rhonda, Scott Pedigo and his wife Jennifer and Daniel Pedigo and his wife Staci; seven grandchildren: Jordan Pedigo, Todd Pedigo, Wyatt Pedigo, Valerie Pedigo, Nicholas Pedigo, Aylla Pedigo and Colbie Riddle; two brothers: Leslie Pedigo and Albert Pedigo and his wife Agnes; one sister: Betty Sexton and her husband Riley.
He was preceded in death by one son Kevin Pedigo and one sister Edna Parsley.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Scott Officiating. Burial will be in the Hiseville cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helen Ray
Helen Ray, 83, formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, April 7, 2003, in Bessemer, Alabama. Mrs. Ray was a former Administrative Assistant to Jesse Stuart, a former member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow, where she was an Administrative Assistant for many years and a member of the Loyal Daughters Sunday School Class. She was currently a member of the Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, Al.
Survivors include her husband, Teddy S. Ray; three sons, John Mitchell Ray and wife, Karen, of Alabama; Billy J. Ray and wife, Mary, of Glasgow; Roger L. Ray of Missouri; one daughter, Suzan Carol Pfeiffer and husband, John, of South Carolina; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, at the Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, Al.

William R. Johnson
August 26, 1918 - November 14, 2003
William (W. R.) Johnson, 85, Coral Hill, died Friday, November 14, 2003, at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Florence Edmunds and Harry E. Johnson, Sr. and a retired farmer.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Fay Johnson of Cave City ; one brother, Harry E. Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Eva, of Coral Hill; one sister-in-law, Ella Lewis Johnson of Glasgow ; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Spillman Johnson and one brother, Charles E. Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens . Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Timmy L. Payne
August 11, 1959 - September 28, 2002
Timmy L. Payne, 43, Bowling Green Road, Glasgow, died Saturday in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, he was a self-employed mechanic and a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of racing and a race car driver. He was the 1999 Points Champion at Barren County Speedway.
Survivors include his wife, Denise; one daughter, Kaylee, at home; one step-son, Phillip Kelly and his wife, Melanie, of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Kyla Kelly; his parents, Marion and Robbie Payne of Merry Oaks; two brothers, Frank Payne and his wife, Melinda, of Glasgow, and Danny Ray Payne of Merry Oaks; one sister, Betty Tibbs of Glasgow; four nieces and one nephew; four great-nieces and three great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Joey Tibbs.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mike Poteet
May 22, 1962 - April 28, 2008
Michael Anthony Poteet, 45, formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, April 28, 2008, in Oakland City, IN. He was the son of Barbara Franklin Poteet and the late John Clinton Poteet, Jr. and a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Ashley Poteet and Amber Poteet of Cave City; two step-daughters, Stephanie Sebrasky of Ohio and Danielle Coats of Cave City; one grandson, D. J. Miller; one brother, Johnny Poteet of Glasgow; three sisters, Rita Wilson of Indiana, Karen Elmore of Temple Hill and Christie Mosby Creek of Glasgow; 5 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mary Elizabeth Norris
June 24, 1920 - October 6, 2001
Mary Elizabeth Elmore Norris, 81, Scottsville Road, Glasgow, died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Jeff and Lottie Woodcock Elmore, she was a retired housekeeper at Barren River State Park with 20 years service and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Cook and Lauraetta Norris of Lucas; two sons, Charles Norris and Terry Len Norris of Lucas; one granddaughter, Melissa Annette Roach of Richmond, KY.; one sister, Ann Elmore of Louisville; one niece, Laura Nunn and one nephew, William Chandler both of Louisville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Norris; one brother, Hulan Elmore; one sister, Euna Chandler; and one nephew, James Allen Elmore.

Harvey Oren Pedigo
March 26, 1921 - February 26, 2007
Harvey Oren Pedigo, 85 of Glasgow, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Will Pedigo and Nellie Ennis Pedigo and a U.S. Air force WWII veteran.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Pedigo; one daughter-in-law Shelia Pedigo of Glasgow; one grandson: Tony Pedigo of Glasgow. Also several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Donald Pedigo.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with the Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV providing military honors. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
James Wendell Norris
October 7, 1941 - November 29, 2001
Wendell Norris, 60, Glasgow Road, Smiths Grove, died Thursday at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A son of the late Frank and Dorinda Bailey Norris, he was a carpenter and a member of the Rock Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; one son, Timmy Norris of Smiths Grove; one grandson, Ethan Norris of Horse Cave; three brothers, Elmer Norris of Center, Eugene Norris of Edmonton and Herbert Norris of Louisville; two sisters, Susie Mae Jeffries of Louisville and Earline Holman of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Depp Norris, Delmer Norris and David Norris.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
David L. Lothery
1945-2006
David Leslie Lothery, 61 of Glasgow, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Jack Lothery and Allyne Cross.
He is survived by his wife Kitty Joann Lothery, three daughters: Sharon Poynter and her husband Tommy, Sandra Taylor and her husband J. D. and Tonya Lothery; ten grandchildren: Felecia Pyonter, Jessica Poynter, Brandon Poynter, Nicole Taylor, Judston Taylor, Christopher Taylor, William Taylor, Shane Paceley, Jessie Paceley and David Grabarczyk; a friend: Ludema Bowles
The family chose cremation. There will be private graveside services at Ford cemetery near Savoyard, Kentucky at a later date.
Robert Frank Lawrence
October 11, 1921 - October 19, 2004
Robert Frank Lawrence, 83, Smiths Grove, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green . A son of the late L. H. and Josie Lawrence, he was a retired farmer, a member of the Baptist faith, a veteran of WW II and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include one son, Gary Lee Lawrence of Smiths Grove; one daughter, Patricia Ann Parker of Smiths Grove; one son-in-law, Karleen Hawks of Taylorsville ; one brother, Bill Lawrence of Louisville ; a special friend, Irene Ayers of Three Forks; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Florence Richey Lawrence and one daughter, Dorothy Jean Hawks.

Martha T. Love, 80, Hiseville, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Thompson Freeman, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Christian Church. She was the widow of the late John Henry Love, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Turner and her husband Bill of Cave City and Connie Love and her husband Marty Jessie of Louisiana; two sons, Dennis Love of Hiseville and Jerry Love of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Louise Cox of Glasgow and Ann Kinser of Leitchfield; one sister-in-law, Imogene Harlow Clark of Louisville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dwight Love and Ronnie Joe Love, and one sister, Margaret Sharp.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
