Georgia Runner Young
(November 27, 1927 - August 31, 2015)

Georgia Runner Young, 87, of Bowling Green died August 31, 2015 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. Mrs. Young was born November 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Richard H. Runner, Sr. “Santa” and Ida Belle Lewis Runner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Belmer Young, Jr., brother, Richard H. Runner, Jr. “Jr” and half-brother, Paul Runner and several half-brothers of the Lothridge family. She was a graduate of Richardsville High School. She was a homemaker and mother and worked in numerous occupations. Mrs. Young was a member of Feed the Children and also other community outreach programs. Survivors include four sons, Michael David Young and his wife, Linda, of Bowling Green, Timothy Shane Young and his wife, Merinda, of Waverly, TN, Thomas Lane Young and his wife, Susan, of Bowling Green, Mark Christopher Young and his wife, Lisa, of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Holly Renea Young of Bowling Green and Christina Nicole Young of Waverly, TN; three step-granddaughters, Susan Smith of Portland, TN, Candice Williams of Glendale, CA, Erica Williams of Pensacola, FL. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps-Funeral Home with burial in Fairview cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.

Florence Garnett Reynolds
(June 5, 1931 - September 9, 2015)

Florence Garnett Reynolds, 84 of Bowling Green died Wednesday September 9, 2015 in Bowling Green. The Barren County native was retired and a member of Burton Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Kincheloe, her husband, Robert Edward Reynolds and her son, Edward Allen Reynolds. Survivors include one son, Bobby Reynolds (Janice) of Bowling Green; three daughters, Faye Chestnut, Virginia Hodges (Bill), and Marie Vance all of Bowling Green; one daughter-in-law, Bertha Reynolds of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Sheryl Anderson, Chrissy Clark, Rhonda Duncan, Meaghan Reed, Rebecca Jaggers and Kevin Chestnut; four great grandchildren, Afton Anderson, Kelsey Anderson, Addison Reed and Will Reed; three great-great grandchildren, Creek, Gracie and Johnny. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen cemetery in Park City, Kentucky at 11:30 am. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burton Memorial Baptist Church.

Margaret "Peggy" White
(May 21, 1926 - April 2, 2015)

Margaret E. "Peggy" White, 88, of Bowling Green, died April 2, 2015 at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. The Montague, Massachusetts native was a daughter of the late Milton P. Greene and Doris E. Choate Greene and was preceded in death by a son, William F. White, a sister Florence Ladre and a brother, Howard Greene. She was a bank teller with Service One Credit Union and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Freeland (Allen); one sister, Shirley Locke; five granddaughters, Melissa Meyer (Joe), Melanie Corlew (Scott), Melynda Sammons (John), and Abigail and Emma White; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Richard F. 'Dick' Dillman
11 July 2001

LISBON, Maine -- Richard F. "Dick" Dillman, 72, of Lisbon died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at his home after a three-year battle with cancer. The Casey, Ill., native graduated from Owensboro High School in 1947 and retired from the Navy in 1967 after 20 years. He worked at Bowdoin College in Maine and the Commissary in Brunswick, Maine, for more than 20 years and retired in the early 1990s. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and playing cribbage and horseshoes.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Dillman; two sons, Rick Dillman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Eric Dillman of Derry, N.H.; two daughters, Kay Bassett of Conyers, Ga., and Trena Norton of Weymouth, Mass.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Coffey of Owensboro.

Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls, Maine, is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur Willis
(August 20, 1915 - May 7, 2015)

Arthur Willis, 99, of Bowling Green died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Willis and Sarah Fannie Monroe Willis, his wife, Mildred Smith Willis, brothers, Harold Willis, Woodford Willis, and Wilson Willis and sister, Anna K. Hanson. He was the retired owner and salesman of Pan American Mills. He was a WWII Army veteran serving as a Motor Vehicle Operator, stationed at Camp Clairborne, LA. Mr. Willis was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Donald Willis of Encino, CA; one daughter Margaret Ritchie of Bowling Green; one sister, Evelyn Duffy of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Melanie Reynolds (Tom) of Bowling Green, Melissa Hamilton (Mickey) of Nashville, TN, and Brian Willis (Erin) of Cincinnati, OH; six great grandchildren, Clay Hamilton, Margaret Hamilton and Jessica Hamilton all of Nashville, Will Reynolds of Bowling Green, Benjamin Willis and Aubrey Willis both of Cincinnati. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2015, and again from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Wallace Couty
31 July 2001

Wallace Couty, 89, of 908 Charles Scott Drive, Owensboro, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Hancock County native retired in 1977 from Martin-Marietta as a metal inspector and was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church. He was a member of the co-op Sunday school class, served on the board of deacons and had served as chairman of the trustees. His wife, Rachel Butler Couty, died Aug. 27, 1991.

Survivors include a son, Wallace Ray Couty of Columbus, Ga.; four daughters, Rovella Mosley, Lula Campbell and Enola Louise Couty, all of Owensboro, and Catherine Gwaltney of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John B. Couty of Hawesville, Virgil Couty of Oklahoma City and Eugene Couty of Arkansas; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home chapel in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hall Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 1102 Hall St., Owensboro, KY 42303.

Susan Lawson
(August 19, 1943 - April 30, 2015)

Susan Lawson, 72, of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, formerly of Bowling Green died April 30, 2015 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Norman Lones and Naomi Calvert Lones and was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Lawson. Mrs. Lawson attended College High and was a graduate of Western Kentucky University holding Bachelors degrees in French and English. She was a retired teacher for the Warren County School System, having taught at both Warren Central High School and Caverna High School. She taught dance for many years and was the owner of Susan's School of Dance. Mrs. Lawson was a former member of State Street United Methodist Church and Cave City United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Neila-Susan Thompson (Nick) of Owens Crossroads, Alabama; two grandchildren, Carson and Jackson Thompson; 1st Cousins, Jerry Gibbs of Glasgow, Kentucky and Mickey Calvert (Phyllis) of Scottsville, Kentucky. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill cemetery in Scottsville, Kentucky. Robert Shawn "Pup" McCormack
(Died April 18, 2015)

Robert Shawn "Pup" McCormack, 56, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his residence. The Bowling Green native was a son of the late Robert R. "Bob" McCormack and Dianne Blanchette McCormack of Bowling Green, who survives. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, the Honorable Roy and Ima McCormack; aunts, Juanita M. Sharer, Helen Becker, and Lucille Griffin and her husband, the Honorable Basil Griffin; father-in-law, James Ralph Beaty.

He worked at General Motors Corvette as a Master Electrician. He was a graduate of Bowling Green High School, Bowling Green Technical College and Western Kentucky University. He served on the advisory committee for the Information Technology Program at Warren County Area Tech Center and was president of the Southern KY Paddlers Society and a member of the NRA. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Shawn's essence was and is, the individual. He based all decisions on the needs of his family, friends and of those blessed to cross his path.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Catharine Beaty McCormack of Bowling Green; two sons, Benjamin Reid McCormack and Robert Chance McCormack both of Bowling Green; mother-in-law, Jayne Alice Magruder Beaty; one sister, Stephanie McCormack Singer of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-law, William Michael Beaty of Bowling Green; one nephew, Adam Jacob Singer; three nieces, Anna Claire G. Leonard Eugene 'Gene' Masterson Sr.

Leonard Eugene "Gene" Masterson Sr., 61, of 2001 Cullen Ave., Owensboro, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native retired from the Owensboro Sanitation Department, and was a Baptist, a Kentucky Colonel and an Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed cooking, collecting coins, miniature cars, playing pool, painting and music.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Joan Masterson; two sons, Clinton Ray Masterson of Evansville and Leonard Eugene Masterson Jr. of New Albany, Ind.; two daughters, Tracy Janice Prater of Owensboro and Shelly Lane of Utica; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Ray Masterson of Owensboro; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ann Wood Mason
(August 17, 1940 - May 5, 2015)

Ann Wood Mason, 74, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at The Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1940 in Pleasureville, KY to the late Leonard Calvert Wood, Jr and Ruth Allen Wood. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and the Nadine Loving Class.

She is survived by her husband, William Hubert Mason of Bowling Green; two daughters, Amy Allen (Jeff) of Atlanta, GA and Catherine Vaughn (Mark) of Bowling Green; a son, Leonard Dean Wilson (Jo Anna) of Franklin, KY; a sister, Mary Ellen Williams (Jack) of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, William Allen, Cole Allen, Sara Lynn Tubilino, and Heather Renea Wright; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11AM at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview cemetery at a later date. Charlotte Ann Norris

IRVINGTON -- Charlotte Ann Norris, 51, of Irvington died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. The Custer native was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, E.H. "Sonny" Norris Jr. of Irvington; a son, James Norris of Irvington; a daughter, Stephanie Norris of Irvington; a grandchild; her parents, H.J. "Dick" and Helen Milburn of Irvington; four brothers, Frank Milburn and Richard Milburn, both of Custer, and Howard Milburn and Randall Milburn, both of Big Spring; and two sisters, Carolyn Goatley of Custer and Brenda Kessinger of Ekron.

Services were Tuesday. Burial was in Cedar Hill cemetery in Irvington. Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington handled arrangements.

Mildred F. Wallace

Mildred F. Wallace, 90, of Bowling Green, KY, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her residence. The Nashville, TN native was a daughter of the late Frances Morgan and Lillie Robinson Morgan and was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wallace and a daughter, Roberta Lamastus. Mrs. Wallace was a bookkeeper for Inglewood Baptist Church and a fashion design graduate of the Cita Universitory, Sorbonne, Paris, France. She served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII. She was a recipient of the American Service Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. She is survived by one brother, Bobby Morgan (Dixie) of Scottsville, KY; three sisters, Sue Chambers of Scottsville, Elnora Wade and Patsy Dunn both of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lamastus and Leon Lamastus both of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Johnathon, Tyler, Alex, Brian and Samantha all of Bowling Green Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Fairview cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Belverine Shocklee

LIVERMORE -- Belverine Shocklee, 85, of Livermore died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Owensboro. The McLean County native retired from Green River Chair Co. in Livermore after 12 years, was a homemaker and member of Livermore United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Her husband, Boone Shocklee, died March 7, 1986.

Survivors include seven sons, Ronald Shocklee and Allen Shocklee, both of Greenville, Wendell Shocklee of Owensboro, Hilton Shocklee of Livermore, Mike Shocklee of Nebo and Duane Shocklee and David Shocklee, both of Island; six daughters, Janice Deaton, Phyllis Sallee and Sue Shocklee, all of Owensboro, Patricia Miller of Central City, Martha Horn of Greenville and Mary Sonner of Island; 25 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery in McLean County. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Green River Hospice, 109 S. Second St., Central City, KY 42330.

Mildred Morehead Adams
(October 12, 1915 - May 10, 2015)

Mildred Adams, 99, of Bowling Green, passed away on May 10, 2015 at Magnolia Village. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Whit and Nannie Belle Cox Morehead; her husband, James H. Adams, Sr.; and six siblings, Ernest, Harry, Mary Elizabeth, Sam Taylor, and Frank Morehead.

She attended Western Kentucky State Normal School, where she received her Master's Degree in teaching. She taught in Bowling Green City Schools for 50 years. After she retired, she worked for Chick-Fil-A at Greenwood Mall, and passed out samples. She also worked at Derby Underwear. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, James Adams of Bowling Green; a sister, Mattie Morehead Duncan of Frankfort, KY; five nephews, Jim Morehead (Pat) of Bowling Green, Ron W. Morehead (Maryanne) of Heathrow, FL, Harry Duncan (Lou) of Owensboro, KY, Russell Thomas, and Dallas Thomas both of Louisville, KY; three nieces, Helen Davis of Frankfort, KY, Regina Hughes of Bowling Green, and Juanita Lodwick; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10AM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Fairview cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home from 4 - 8 PM, and again on Thursday at First Baptist Church from 9 AM until funeral time.

Emily "Mimo" Hancock Wilson
(August 27, 1914 - April 22, 2015)

Mrs. Emily "Mimo" Hancock Wilson, 100, of Bowling Green died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Greenview Hospital. The Mayfield, KY native was a daughter of the late Samuel T. Hancock and Ruth McRae Hancock. She is preceded in death by her husband, F. Eugene Wilson, a son, Frank Wilson and a brother, Hunter M. Hancock. Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Webb Street School - Mayfield High School, where she was the first and only girl in the high school tennis team, she was also a graduate of Western Kentucky University holding a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. She was a vocational rehab counselor supervisor for five counties; Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Barren and Warren counties. Mrs. Wilson was a "groundbreaker", she played golf, tennis and was an avid swimmer, and she was the first woman hired in the Army Corp of Engineers during WWII. She was a member of the Widow's Club at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Garden Club of Bowling Green, several Bridge Clubs and was a founder of EnAmee Sorority at Western Kentucky University (Phi Mu). Mrs. Wilson was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and later Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Emily Wilson Donnelly, (Robert G., Sr.); five grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson Engel (David), Terri Lynn Wilson Kunkel (Glenn), Emily Donnelly Mason (Buddy), Dr. Robert G. Donnelly, Jr., PhD, Lt. Colonel Samuel T. Donnelly (Ashley); 16 great grandchildren, Hunter Engel, Zachery Engel, Tori Kunkel, Taylor Kunkel, Ryan Kunkel, Joshua Kunkel, Katie Weaver (Joshua), Justin Mason, Molly Mason, Grace Mason, Rose Donnelly, Luke Donnelly, Amelia Donnelly, Samantha G. Donnelly, Anna Louise Donnelly, Elijah Donnelly; two great-great grandchildren, Porter Weaver and Scout Weaver; daughter-in-law, Kathy Thomas Wilson; and her only nephew, Hunter M. Hancock. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

Susan Darlene Duff
(October 12, 1958 - April 2, 2015)

Susan Darlene Duff, 56, of Bowling Green, KY passed away April 2, 2015 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Darlene was born October 12, 1958 and was preceded in death by her father, Horace Henry Duff, Sr., her mother, Lois Duff Wilson, step father, Roy Wilson, and brothers, James E. Duff and Charles L. Duff, Sr. Survivors include her brother, Horace Duff, Jr., of Bowling Green, her sister, Betty Duff Stinson (Charles) of Franklin, KY, her twin brother, Darrell Duff of Bowling Green and her brother, Allen Wilson (Cheryl) of Franklin.

She is also survived by two sister in laws, Barbara Duff and Virginia Duff, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Darlene resided in Florida for 25 years, and was employed as a chef for The Water Color Resort in Santa Rosa Beach before her illness. Cremation was chosen, with a Celebration of Life on April 11 for family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to your local Humane Society.

James Leonard Ellis
(June 11, 1919 - May 12, 2015)

James Leonard Ellis, 95, of Bowling Green died at 4:25 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Center. The Warren County native was a son of the late Herman Potter Ellis and Alma Turner Ellis and was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Hargis. Mr. Ellis was retired from Wayne Supply Company and was a farmer. He was a Navy Veteran having served during WWII in the South Pacific in Saipan and was a member of the American Legion. He was a charter member of St. James United Methodist Church where he served as the Superintendent of Sunday School for 13 years. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth M. Ellis; a daughter, Joyce Howell (Mike) of Bowling Green; a granddaughter, Michelle Lee Patrick (Brian) of Bowling Green; a grandson, James Michael Howell (Jenny) of Hendersonville, Tn; five great grandchildren, Courtney Patrick, Maddie Howell, Allie Howell, Bennett Howell and Nola Kate Howell; many nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James United Methodist Church or the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.

Loucretia Gentry Hunt
(February 19, 1924 - April 18, 2015)

Loucretia Gentry Hunt, 91, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green. The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Albert N. Gentry and Hanora Willoughby Gentry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Hunt; and son-in-law, Leroy Cassady. Mrs. Hunt retired after working 34 years at Holley Carburetor. She was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church. She loved cooking for her family. Family was at the top of the list. She was a member of O.E.S. #198. She traveled extensively in Eastern Star. She was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Cassady of Bowling Green; one grandson, Michael Cassady and Donna of Bowling Green; one great grandson, Dalton Cassady and Alicia of Bowling Green; one step-grandson, Tyler Causey and Katlyn of Bowling Green; two sister in laws, Christine Hunt and Roberta Grimes both of Bowling Green; special neighbors, David Butler and the Eash Family; and special thanks to the staff at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green for being so kind. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial at Fairview cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at the funeral home. O.E.S. Services will be at 7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

George Addison Forgy

CENTRAL CITY -- George Addison Forgy, 45, of Central City died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. The Cook County, Ill., native was a clerk at Wal-Mart in Beaver Dam, a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Bremen and an Army veteran.

Survivors include a son, George Aaron Forgy of Providence; his parents, Shirley and Wilbur Fortner of Central City; two brothers, Terry Fortner of White Plains and Larry Fortner of Henryville, Ind.; three sisters, Peggy Crockett of Madisonville, Marilyn Davis of Wilkes Barre, Pa., and Teresa Cobb of Depoy; and several uncles and aunts.

Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah cemetery in Bremen. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mike Head
(January 1, 1951 - May 3, 2015)

Mike Head, 64, of Bowling Green died Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Owensboro, KY native was a son of the late Hayden Head and Mary Jo French Head who survives. He was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from DESA International and Pan Olsten having worked in Human Resources. He was a member of the American Legion Post #23 and the Vietnam Veterans in Franklin, KY.

Survivors include his wife Debbie Head of Bowling Green; daughter, Angela Head Murray and her husband, Colby of Bowling Green; mother, Mary Jo Head of Owensboro; brother, Donnie Head of Owensboro; two sisters, Julie Castlen of Owensboro and Marnita Strehl of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Sloane Murray of Bowling Green, Adilyn Murray and Avery Murray both of Elizabethtown, KY; five nieces, Breanna Dant of Owensboro, Nicole Stoll of Nicholasville, KY, Rachel Metzger of Louisville, LaDonna Hayes-Harp of Bowling Green, and Tara Hays-Kottke of Buckley, IL; six nephews Donnie Head, Jr., Jason Head, Scott Head, Brandon Castlen all of Owensboro, Matthew Strehl of Louisville, and Kevin Hays of Bowling Green.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Wounded Warrior Project have been requested.
