HAWESVILLE -- Bryant J. McCamish, 75, of Hawesville died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at his home. The Whitesville native was a member of Whitesville Baptist Church, founder of M & C. Auto Parts in Hawesville in 1966 and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dot Payne McCamish; two sons, Bryant Gayle McCamish and Dwight McCamish, both of Hawesville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Argle McCamish of Ohio and Marvin McCamish of Whitesville; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gibson & Son Funeral Home in Hawesville. Burial will be in Cates cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Barbara Jean Fairchild

HENDERSON -- Barbara Jean Fairchild, 64, of Henderson, formerly of Owensboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at her home. She retired from Henderson Housing Authority after 19 years and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She was a member of Women of the Moose and Henderson Democratic Women's Club.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Fairchild of Henderson and Dominic Fairchild of Kingwood, Texas; three daughters, Teresa Currao of Long Island, N.Y., Patricia Ingalls of North Clarendon, Vt., and Catherine Croxton of Henderson; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, Emma Trodglen of Henderson; a brother, Charles "Bud" Trodglen of Henderson; six sisters, Bernie Cooper, Lou Williams and Ginger Page, all of Henderson, Brenda Doss of Pacific, Mo., Paula Stallings of Catawissa, Mo., and Sue Stone of Dixon; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at noon Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson. Burial will be in St. Louis cemetery in Henderson. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson. Prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Rosary services are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Henderson Cancer Center, 1401 N. Elm St., Henderson, KY 42420 or St. Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 351, Henderson, KY 42419.

Edith I. Chinn Brown

HARTFORD -- Edith I. Chinn Brown, 96, of Hartford died there Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at Professional Care Health and Rehabilitation Center. The Ohio County native worked in central supply at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, was a member of Hartford Baptist Church and had worked at Curtis Wright, an aircraft manufacturer. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Brown in 1937 and Randahl Brown in 1975; a son, Leonard Brown in 1996; and a daughter, Kathleen Brown in 1946.

Survivors include two sons, Alden Ray Brown of Greeneville, Tenn., and Everett Leslie Brown of Ferndale, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rodney Chinn of Greenville.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be in Sunnyside cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideons Memorial Bible Chairman, Gideons International, P.O. Box 401, Hartford, KY 42347.

Mary Jayne Long Sullivan
8 December 2001

REDDING, Calif. -- Mary Jayne Long Sullivan, 67, of Redding died there Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, after a lengthy illness. She was an Owensboro native.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Sullivan; a son, Charles Sullivan Jr. of Redding; three daughters, Linda Secor of Sacramento, Calif., Karin Sullivan of Grand Lake, Mich., and Barbara Worsfold of Denver; a brother, James E. Long of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Lori Price of Puyallup, Wash., Eddie Lankert of Clarksville, Ind., and Loyce Kluck and Joyce Kluck, both of Stevens Point, Wis.; and several cousins.

Services were held in Redding. E.M. Coots' Sons Inc. Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, Ind., was in charge of arrangements.

Elson Bon Fortune

HATFIELD, Ind. -- Elson Bon Fortune, 83, of Hatfield died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rockport, Ind. The Hatfield native retired from Arkla Industries as a welder and was a member of American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Fortune; two sons, Kenny Fortune of Richland, Ind., and Lynn Fortune of Rockport; a daughter, Bonnie Kall of Newburgh, Ind.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his mother, Ethel Fortune of Hatfield; and a brother, Robert Fortune of Richland.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will be in James Parker cemetery in Hatfield. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Evansville American Red Cross.

Randy Joe Austin

Randy Joe Austin, 30, of 2003 E. 20th St., Owensboro, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at his home. The Evansville native worked at Packages Unlimited and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Tyler Brooks of North Judson, Ind., and Randy Joe DelleChiale of Owensboro; three daughters, Krystal Ann Hartz of Owensboro and Jessica Brooks and Amber Brooks, both of North Judson; and his mother, Brenda Jo Gualandi of Owensboro.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. today at Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Christ chapel, with burial after. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Randy Joe Austin Memorial Fund.

Louise Harper Harris

CENTRAL CITY -- Louise Harper Harris, 88, of Central City died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. The Muhlenberg County native was a housewife and member of Woodson Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Clis Dossett of Central City; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Novella Burden of Chicago.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery in Central City. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements.

Triston Jacob Terry

DUNMOR -- Triston Jacob Terry, infant son of Christian Terry and Ami Garrett of Dunmor, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.

Survivors also include his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Garrett of Dunmor.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Harmony cemetery in Todd County. Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.

Flora Mae Keown
7 December 2001

FORDSVILLE -- Flora Mae Keown, 94, of Fordsville died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Fordsville Nursing & Rehab Center. The Fordsville native was a housewife. She was a member of Fordsville Baptist Church, Fordsville Lions Club and AARP. Her husband, Wilbur W. Keown, died May 3, 1992.

Survivors include a sister, Nancy Ruth Huff of Fordsville; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fordsville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fordsville cemetery. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Chalma Lee 'Bill' Butler

GREENVILLE -- Chalma Lee "Bill" Butler, 90, of Greenville died there Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Belle Meade Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. The Benton native was a retired carpenter and grocery store owner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Gold Butler.

Survivors include a stepson, Terry Gold of Greenville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a cousin.

Services are at 2 p.m. today at Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Shriner's Children's Hospital.

Frances Westerfield Haven

CROMWELL -- Frances Westerfield Haven, 77, of Cromwell died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at her home. The Ohio County native was a housewife and member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Glendon Haven; three daughters, Sharon Williams-Kosfeld and Marsha Powell, both of Louisville, and Kathy Ford of Beaver Dam; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Glen Westerfield of Florida, Jack Westerfield of Indiana, James Westerfield of Tennessee and David Westerfield of Georgia; and three sisters, Wilma Renfrow of Beaver Dam and Yvonne Brown and Linda Jo Westerfield, both of Evansville.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Glenna Jankin

ROCKPORT, Ind. -- Glenna Jankin, 79, of Rockport died there Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Miller's Merry Manor. The Hatfield, Ind., native worked in the amusement business for 30 years and retired as a cook from Spencer County (Ind.) Law Enforcement in 1993.

Survivors include a son, Sheldon "Sonny" Tharp of Rockport; and a sister, Vernell Wood of Newark, Ohio.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery in Rockport. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
