Margaret Igleheart
HENDERSON — Margaret B. Igleheart, 81, formerly of Henderson, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at her home in Indian Wells, Calif.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Igleheart Mowry of Morro Bay, Calif.; a son, John Giltner Igleheart III of Cayucos, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Brooke and Hilary Igleheart and Whitney and Tom Mowry.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. James by the Sea in LaJolla, Calif.
Wiefels & Son Funeral Home in Palm Springs, Calif., is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Henderson.
Edna Ashmore
DAWSON SPRINGS — Edna Ashmore, 83, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Earlington.
Surviving are a daughter, Dottie Louise Ashmore Linville of Dawson Springs; and two grandchildren.
Her husband, J.T., died in 1981. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Earlington, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery in Madisonville.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington and from noon to service time at the church.
Oscar Onan
HENDERSON — Oscar “Cotton” Onan, 88, formerly of Sebree, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
He retired from the State of Kentucky as a heavy equipment operator in the road and highway department. He was also a farmer.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, a coach in the Little League, Pony League and Independent Baseball Leagues of Webster County and was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Catholic Church.
Surviving are seven sons, Gary and Steve, both of Henderson, Troy of Evansville, Bengie of Robards, Greg of Slaughters, Oscar B. “Ozzie” of Sebree and Randy Tracy of Calhoun; a sister, Marie Green of Henderson; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Ruth (Gish), died in 1995.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in St. Peter cemetery in Waverly.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Little League or to a favorite local baseball team.
Carnell Wortham
MADISONVILLE — Carnell Wortham, 88, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at her home.
She retired from Western Kentucky Gas Co. as a bookkeeper and cashier.
She was a member of the Madisonville First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Georgia Murphy Sunday school class.
Surviving are two sons, Tom of Madisonville and B. David of Elizabethtown; three grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and a nephew.
Her husband, Hollis W., died in 1965.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Green River Hospice or to the Methodist Homes for Children and Youth.
Juanita Shoulders
CLAY — Juanita Frances Shoulders, 68, of Farmington, Mo., formerly of Clay, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was Baptist.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, J.B.; three daughters, Brenda Smith of Elizabethtown, Diane Thomas of Henderson and Stephanie Sloan of Park Hills, Mo.; two sons, Daniel of Marengo, Ill., and David of Farmington; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vanover Funeral Home, with burial in Lisman cemetery in Lisman.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Viola Mason
EARLINGTON — Viola Mason, 85, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at her home.
She worked as a cook at J.W. Million High School and as a nurse’s aide at Hopkins County Hospital.
She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Choir and the Missionary Society, and a member of Eastern Star Hagar Chapter 10.
Surviving are three daughters, Wilma Berry of Louisville, Gloria Cook of Earlington and Anita Lenoir of Shawnee, Kan.; two sons, Joseph Jr. of Earlington and Ralph of Springfield, Ill.; a stepson, James Hines of Evansville; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Her husband, the Rev. Joseph Mason Sr., died in 1964.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time at the church.

Lee Ulch
RUMSEY — Lee E. Ulch, 50, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He was a dragline operator in the coal mines and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
He attended the Livermore United Methodist Church and was a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Boyken); three daughters, Debbie Morris of Calhoun, Kathy Mayberry of Livermore and Sheree Kuhn of Reading, Mich.; a son, Jerry “J.D.” Mayberry of Rumsey; a twin sister, Lois Ulch of Pleasant Lake, Ind.; two brothers, Roy of Goshen, Ind., and Harvey of Eureka Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Home in Calhoun, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery in Livermore.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Rev. Robert Williams
PROVIDENCE — The Rev. Robert O. Williams, 73, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville’s inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion.
He retired as pastor of the Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville after 25 years and had served as pastor of Providence Baptist Church from 1958 to 1963.
He served as a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force.
Surviving are a daughter, Laurice D. Rogers; a son, Donald R.; a sister, Laura Marquess; two brothers, Fielding G. and the Rev. Joseph Priest; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, with burial in Cave Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Arch L, . Heady-Cralle Funeral Home in Louisville.

Clyde Whitledge
HENDERSON — Clyde A. Whitledge, 98, died Monday, May 15, 2000, at Redbanks Nursing Home.
He retired from Standard Oil Co. as a truck driver.
He was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are a sister, Helen W. Bennett of Henderson; a brother, Dick of Henderson; and nephews.
His wife, Elsie Lee (Spencer), died in 1987.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with entombment in Fairmont Mausoleum.
