Mona Majors
SEBREE — Mona “MoMo” Lucas Majors, 90, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home.
She was a member of Sebree Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann Warren of Sebree and Norma Jo Allen of Indianapolis; a sister, Nadine Goodman of Johnson City, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her husband, R.T. “Ted, ” died in 1989.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel, with entombment in the family plot in Springdale cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons or to a favorite charity.
Robert Withrow
HENDERSON — Robert Ray “Bob” Withrow, 42, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Medco Center of peritonitis.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his caregiver, Robert Murphy of Henderson; his mother and stepfather, Melba and Jerry Nolan of West Memphis, Ark.; his father, Lowell Withrow of Plano, Ill.; a sister, Penny Graylak of North Aurora, Ill.; and his grandmother, Mary West.
Memorial services will be at a later date.

Catherine Benson
ROBARDS — Catherine Benson, 81, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of Robards United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Tom “J.T.”; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in Eakins cemetery near Robards.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Judy Quinn
OWENSBORO — Judy Carolyn Quinn, 50, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System of heart trouble.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, William E. “Billy”; two daughters, Charolette Embry of Russell Springs and Shawnee Smith of Chandler, Ind.; a sister, Sue Rainier of Owensboro; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Rosehill cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Nancy Walker
MARION — Nancy Ann Pritchitt Walker, 55, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Crittenden County Hospital of cancer.
She was a certified respiratory therapist.
She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the National Respiratory Board of Care.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Hyatt of Evansville and Angela Walker Owen of Marion; a son, Chad of Mount Vernon, Ill.; her mother, Kathryn Pritchitt of Corydon; a sister, Sue P. Thomas of Gillette, Wyo.; and two grandchildren.
Her husband, Ed, died in 1989.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shady Grove cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Relay For Life.
Rev. J.D. Phelps
MARION — The Rev. J.D. Phelps, 82, formerly of Marion, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, in Gadsden, Ala.
He was a minister for 60 years in Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama and Mississippi.
He attended East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gadsden.
He was a graduate of Bethel College and Presbyterian Seminary in McKenzie, Tenn.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Faye Fite of Columbia, Miss.; two sons, James Douglas of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and John Francis of Hawesville; two sisters, Edna Christine Herrin of Providence and Nelda Frances Phelps of Marion; two brothers, Curtis Eugene of Marion and the Rev. Lawrence Earl Phelps of Adamsville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Gregory, Scott and John Bryan Phelps, Christopher, James, Michael and Anna Irene Fite and Kimberly Welborn; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Bettis Phelps.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Mapleview cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Frankie Floyd Educational Endowment Fund at the East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
James Huggins
MADISONVILLE — James H. Huggins, 73, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home.
Surviving are a sister, Estelle Bean of Madisonville; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bethlehem cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
Robert Williams
MADISONVILLE — Robert Henry Williams, 54, died Thursday, May 18, 2000, at Regional Medical Center of heart trouble.
He was a construction worker.
Surviving are a daughter, Dewan Mena Marshall of Owensboro; a son, Bryan Shawn of Madisonville; five sisters, Mary Williams of Joshua Tree, Calif., Julia Withey and Patsy I. Morseman, both of Hanson, Frances Clayton of Madisonville and Carolyn Rhea Emery of Providence; four brothers, James D. and Billy Joe, both of Madisonville, and Daniel D. and Jerry Wayne, both of Providence; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Marlene (Mason), in 1987, and by a daughter, Mahalia Sue Williams, in 1981.
Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Monday in Salem cemetery in Mortons Gap.
There will be no visitation at Harris Funeral Home.
Inez Johnson
HENDERSON — Inez Conn Johnson, 66, died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville of congestive heart failure.
She worked for BellSouth for 30 years.
She attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Clyde R. Johnson; two sons, David Ross and Paul Shane, both of Henderson; four sisters, Martha Conn Watson, Anna Conn Chambliss and Lorena Clark, all of Sturgis, and Linda Conn Oldham of Providence; a brother, Powell Rudolph of Salem; a grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Stella Riley
HENDERSON — Stella Marie Riley, 87, died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of Dayspring Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are five grandchildren, Jacqueline Evans and Ricky, Jeffrey, Rodney and Roger Dale Barlett; nine great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Her son, Jackie Lee, died in 1977.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont cemetery.
