Bea Holsapple
PRINCETON, Ky. — Bea Holsapple, 94, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at Caldwell County Hospital.
She retired from Princeton Hosiery Mill.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Princeton.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Brenda Frohock; a great-grandson; great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis, in 1986, and by a son, Glenn Stallins, in 1994.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial in Princeton Memorial Gardens.

Trilby Adkins
LIVERMORE — Trilby Elizabeth “Dee” Adkins, 68, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System of an aneurysm.
She retired from the former Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital.
She attended the Livermore General Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Patti McCubbins of Columbia Falls, Mont.; three sons, Forrest H. Jr. of Columbia Falls, Billy Lee of Kodiak, Alaska, and Steven Allen of Livermore; four sisters, Margaret Phillips of Loma Linda, Calif., Oddia Warnock of Phoenix, Virginia Drake and Martha Ann Sharp, both of Livermore; five brothers, Eugene, Leonard, B.J., and Tony Strong, all of Livermore and Fred Strong of Philpot; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Home Livermore Chapel, with burial in New Hope cemetery in Moorman.

June Adams
HENDERSON — June Adams, 39, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington from a stroke after surgery.
She was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Andrew and Alex, both at home; her mother, Doris Adams of Henderson; three sisters, Deanna Denton of Bloomington, Ill., Marilyn Woodard of Robards and Susan Jordan of Henderson; a brother, Kevin Adams of Robards; her grandmother, Frieda Dauby; her fiance, Curtis Honaker of Henderson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont cemetery.

Gertha Traylor
DAWSON SPRINGS — Gertha Traylor, 94, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at the National Health Care Center.
She was Pentecostal.
Surviving are five daughters, Juanita Hankins, Thelma Traylor, Mary Kirkwood, Hazel Alfred, all of Dawson Springs, and Marie Strong of Newburgh, Ind.; three sons, Thomas of Caldwell County, Garnett and James, both of Nebo; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Her husband, Thomas L., and a daughter, Lorene Traylor, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beshear Funeral Home, with burial in Old Beulah cemetery in Hopkins County.

Agnes Compton
MADISONVILLE — Agnes Louise Compton, 91, died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at Regional Medical Center.
She retired after 30 years as a school teacher in Hobgood, Slaughters, Hanson and West Broadway schools.
She was a member of the Madisonville Second Baptist Church, Women’s Missionary Union, Training Union, a charter member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville and taught Sunday school for more than 60 years.
She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Evansville Eastern Star and the Betterway Homemakers.
Surviving are a sister, Jennie Marie Hall of Evansville; and a niece and nephews.
Her husband, Virgil B., died in 1998.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with entombment in Forest Lawn Mausoleum.

Covington Overfield
HENDERSON — Covington “Cup” Overfield, 95, died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at Lakeshore Meadows in Nashville, Tenn.
He was a life member of Immanuel Baptist Temple, where he was a member of the Gideon Sunday school class.
Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Gertrude (Whelan); a daughter, Judith Overfield Jacobs of Nashville; a son, Ronald E. of Nashville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with entombment in Fernwood cemetery Mausoleum.

Nellie Suell
HENDERSON — Nellie Irene Suell, 93, died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at Medco Nursing Center.
She was Baptist.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, including niece and caregiver, Dorothy Mathias of Henderson.
Her husband, Clay Owen Suell, died in 1989.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

Anthony Sutton
DAWSON SPRINGS — Anthony Quinn Sutton, 29, died Friday, April 28, 2000, at his home.
He worked in health care facilities a certified nurse’s aide.
He was a member of Christ the King Church in Madisonville.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, William A. and Pamela S. Sutton of Mortons Gap; his mother, Pamela F. Draper of Nebo; three sisters, Misty Jourdan of Evansville and Charity and Kendra Sutton, both of Dawson Springs; two brothers, Jason Stuart and Tyler Sutton, both of Dawson Springs; his grandmothers, Georgia Mae Thomas and Lillie Nichols; his step grandmother, Juanita Cotton; nieces and nephews; and his roommate of seven years, Michael Czalbowski.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington.

Charles Easley
MARION — Charles Ercile Easley, 90, died Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Crittenden County Convalescent Center.
Surviving are three sons, Gerlad of Mayfield, Terry of Shady Grove and Jackie of Marion; a sister, Dorothy Wells of Evansville; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Castella, and by a son, Norris.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Shady Grove cemetery.

NORTONVILLE — Eugene G. Hamby, 83, died Friday, April 28, 2000, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He retired from Fox Lumber Co. as manager and bookkeeper.
He was a member of the Nortonville United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of Bowling Green Business University.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Nance of Nortonville; two brothers, Darrell of Phoenix and Ray of Frankfort; a grandchild, Lori Harrison; and three step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katheryn.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bandy Funeral Home, with burial in New Salem cemetery.
