BEAVER DAM -- Lena Corley Geary Robinson, 85, of Beaver Dam died Friday, May 18, 2001, at Beaver Dam Health Care Manor. The Muhlenberg County native was a cook for Rockport Grade School, was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was former president of hospital auxiliary at Ohio County Hospital. She was a member of Lydia Sunday school class and Order of the Eastern Star, Grace Chapter 37. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lincoln Geary, on June 30, 1959, and her second husband, Connis Robinson, on April 29, 1972.
Survivors include a son, James C. Geary of Louisville; a daughter, Ellen Ball of Beaver Dam; a stepdaughter, Debbie Martill of Phoenix; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a half brother, James Corley Jr. of Louisville.
Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Wavy Lincoln Faught

GROVE, Okla. -- Wavy Lincoln Faught, 72, of Grove died there Tuesday, May 8, 2001. The Owensboro native was a 31-year veteran of the Navy and Air Force and had served in the United States and overseas. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge in Grove. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willadeyne Faught.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Faught of San Diego; two sons, Michael J. Faught of San Diego and Thomas E. Faught of Temecula, Calif.; four daughters, Cindy G. Faught Sudan of Lafayette, Colo.; Mary Ellen Faught of Chula Vista, Calif., and Patricia J. Faught and Rebecca L. Faught, both of San Diego; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors areat 11 a.m. PST today at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery in San Diego. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Okla., is in charge of arrangements. George E. Young

George E. Young, 91, of 530 Yale Place, Owensboro, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native retired from American Tobacco Co. after 50 years, was a retired farmer and was a member of First Christian Church for more than 50 years. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah M. Young, on Feb. 3, 1998; and four children.
Survivors include two sons, George W. Young of Owensboro and Donald E. Young of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a daughter, Carolyn Simpson of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home chapel in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to First Christian Church in Owensboro.
Michael L. Lindsey

LEWISPORT -- Michael L. Lindsey, 56, of Lewisport died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Baldtown native was a water treatment operator for the city of Lewisport and a member of Lewisport United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer firefighter for Lewisport and was a member of Green River Firefighters Association, Kentucky Rural Water Association, Kentucky Gas Association and American Water Works Association.
Survivors include his wife, Phillis Lindsey; and two brothers, Thomas Lindsey of Owensboro and Lawrence Lindsey of Hawesville.
Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor-Raymond-Spear Funeral Home in Lewisport. Burial will be in Lewisport cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Robert Ray Hagan

PIONEER VILLAGE -- Robert Ray Hagan, 64, of Pioneer Village died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. The Owensboro native attended Walnut Street Baptist Church. He retired from the Navy in 1974 and had worked for the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C., for 20 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Joni Cosgrove and Stacie Marie Hagan of Menifee, Calif.; five grandchildren; a brother, Clifford Oldham Hagan; and two sisters, Beverly Karr and Betty Kurd.
Services were held May 25, 2001, at Walnut Street Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday in Arlington National cemetery in Arlington, Va. Commonwealth Funeral Home in Louisville is handling arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Walnut Street Baptist Church Building Fund or Billy Graham Ministries.
Iva Marie Chapman

BEAVER DAM -- Iva Marie Chapman, 90, of Beaver Dam died there Monday, May 28, 2001, at her home. The Ohio County native was a homemaker, had worked at Ken-Rad in Owensboro and was a member of Independence Baptist Church in McHenry. Her husband, Hermon Chapman, died in 1972.
Survivors include a son, David L. Chapman of Beaver Dam; a daughter, Sally C. Snyder of Madisonville; two grandchildren; and a brother, Claude Chinn of Carmel, Ind.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be in Sunnyside cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mary Glenn, 73, of 529 Walnut St., Owensboro, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The McLean County native was a homemaker and member of St. Stephen Cathedral. She enjoyed collecting dolls and going to garage sales. Her husband, David Glenn, died in August 1981.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Dean Glenn and John David Glenn, both of Owensboro; a daughter, Nancy Lee Kimbley of Owensboro; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Josephine Wathen, Catherine Wathen, Ida Robinson and Marie Howard, all of Owensboro.
Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. today and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Earl Wayne White, 59, of 527 Ridgewood St., Owensboro, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Ohio County native retired from Faith Tool & Die as a machinist and was a member of Good Shepherd Church and American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Martha White; two sons, Anthony "Chuck" White and Todd White, both of Owensboro; two grandchildren; a brother; three sisters; and several nephews and nieces.
Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sue Swift Johnson, 60, of 5058 Back Square Drive, Owensboro, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Easton native retired from Green River District Health Department as a clerical supervisor, was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church and was salutatorian of her graduating class at Owensboro Technical High School.
Survivors include her companion, Frank R. Johnson; two sons, M. David Johnson of Owensboro and Paul A. Johnson of Glasgow; three grandchildren; four brothers, Charles E. Swift of Nashville, Walter D. Swift of Habit and William Franklin Swift and Larry W. Swift, both of Owensboro; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services are at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Eaton Memorial Baptist Church in Owensboro. There is no visitation. James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro is handling arrangements.
Cartmell B. Wheeler

Cartmell B. Wheeler, 99, of Wellington Parc, Owensboro, died Friday, May 25, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Central City native retired from an insurance agency. She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church in Owensboro and Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Sarasota, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.M. Wheeler.
Survivors include a stepgrandson and several nephews and nieces.
Services are pending at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.
