Donald Anthony Howard, 30, of Philpot died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native worked at Fluor Co. and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Cole Howard of Philpot; a daughter, Regan Howard of Philpot; his father and stepmother, Tony and Ella Howard of Philpot; his mother, Donna Howard of Island; grandparents, Wayne and Glenda Rudd of Owensboro and Jackie Howard of Whitesville; and a sister, Robin Boarman of Whitesville.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation is after 1 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Daviess County D.A.R.E. Program.

PROVIDENCE - Phyllis J. Ogilby, 69, of Providence died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was a housewife and member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Coleman Ogilby; a son, Guy Ogilby of Sacramento; two grandchildren; a brother, Norman Vaughn of Providence; and a sister, Beverly White of Madisonville.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery in Providence. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

DRAKESBORO - Joseph Eric Camplin, 26, of Drakesboro died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at his home. He was a Muhlenberg County native.
Survivors include his father, Billy Joe Camplin of Drakesboro; his mother, Mary Camplin of Jasper, Ind.; a grandfather, Herbert Camplin of Beechmont; a sister, Sheryl Elaine Camplin of Jasper; a stepbrother, Billy Joe Camplin Jr. of Jasper; and a stepsister, Stacy Uppencamp of Jasper.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wyatts Chapel cemetery in Beech Creek. Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Beatrice Ann Estes

Beatrice Ann Estes, 70, of 729 Locust St., Owensboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at Hermitage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro. The Lyons, Ohio, native retired from Pinkerton Tobacco as a bucket packer after 15 years of service and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John Daniel Estes; two sons, Ken Henley of Adrian, Mich., and Michael Henley of Morenci, Mich.; a daughter, Julia Loar of Palmyra, Mich.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Sheldon of Addison, Mich., and Leonard Sheldon of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two sisters, Marie Eichenaur of Selina, Ohio, and Eunice Williams of Montpelier, Ohio; and several nephews and nieces.
Services are at 3 p.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Wanda Faye Jones

Wanda Faye Jones, 66, of 638 Delray St., Owensboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Hancock County native retired from Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital after 15 years of service as a nurse's assistant. She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and did ministry at Davco Rest Home. She enjoyed puzzles, flower gardening and University of Kentucky basketball.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John L. Jones; three sons, John E. Jones, Aaron Jones and Danny Jones, all of Owensboro; a daughter, Debbie Lambert of Philpot; four grandchildren; a brother, Rex Dale Fulkerson of Lewisport; and a sister, Diane Elliott of Philpot.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Brushy Fork cemetery in Daviess County. Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. SACRAMENTO - Arthur Hugh Harrison, 88, of Island died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. The McLean County native was a retired parts manager and member of Station Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ora Mae "Mitchell" Harrison; two daughters, Sharon Randolph and Beverly Green, both of Sacramento; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Burial will be in Station Baptist cemetery in Sacramento. Visitation is after 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Nova M. Hargan

Nova M. Hargan, 91, of 1205 Leitchfield Road, Owensboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Leisure Years Nursing Home in Owensboro. She was a Grayson County native. Her husband, Bill Hargan, died June 1, 2001.
Survivors include a son, Walter James Hargan of Utica; four daughters, Martha Young of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Mary Wilgus of Campbellsville, Sally Wright of Richmond and Linda Wardle of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Wells of Rockport, Ind.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

CENTRAL CITY - Eddie Gene Foster, 57, of Central City died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. The Muhlenberg County native was a retired miner.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Foster; four sons, Bobby Foster of Elkton and James Smith, Scott Kime and Kenneth Buchanan, all of Central City; two daughters, Mary Cobb of Belton and Georgina Sailing of Graham; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Foster of Central City, Larry Foster of Owensboro and Mike Foster of Greenville; and three sisters, Wilma Walker of Livermore and Martha Kelley and Verna Fields, both of Michigan.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MADISONVILLE - Charles L. Greenwell, 91, of Madisonville, formerly of Owensboro, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. The Daviess County native was owner-operator of Greenwell's Upholstery. His wife, Alice R. Greenwell, died in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry D. Melton of Providence; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Greenwell of Apex, N.C., Bob Greenwell of Peoria, Ill., and Billy Greenwell of Palmetto, Fla.; and two sisters, Anna Belle Akins of Owensboro and Beverly Nuckolls of Paducah.

CENTRAL CITY - Rosa Lee Winstead, 94, of Central City died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Sheridan Medical Complex in Kenosha, Wis. The Muhlenberg County native was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons, William H. Winstead of Hackleburg, Ala., and David L. Winstead of Round Lake, Ill.; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Grace Slayton of Adrian, Mich., and Nellie Louise Beaven of Owensboro.
Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
