Mary Theresa Lancaster, 84, of Owensboro died at 12:05 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born May 25, 1920, in Owensboro to the late Fred and Anna Burns Lancaster. Miss Lancaster was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of Army of Mary and Oblate Patriots. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Lancaster, Harold A. Lancaster and Edward Lancaster; and her sisters, Jean Aiken, Virginia Whelan, Margaret Lancaster and Anna Ruth Jackson.
Survivors include her sister, Beatrice Ledford of Owensboro; her nieces, Becky Franey, Connie Hamilton, Margee Lancaster and Terri Lancaster, all of Owensboro, Mary Kay Hines of Frankfort, Della Leopold of Belair, Md., Bonnie Reinhart of Antioch, Tenn., and Janice Pearson of Prospect; and her nephews, David Aiken of Ellicott City, Md., Pat Lancaster of Memphis, Tenn., Fred Whelan, John Lancaster, Rick Lancaster and Bruce Lancaster, all of Owensboro, Tony Lancaster of Charleston, S.C., and Steve Lancaster of LaVergne, Tenn.
Services are at noon Friday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Army of Mary prayers will be said at 6 p.m. today. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa cemetery. The Rev. Freddie Byrd and the Rev. Joseph Rhodes will officiate. Ann Tillotson Girvin

LIVERMORE - Ann Tillotson Girvin, 88, of East 7th St., Livermore, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. Anna Mae Tillotson was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Calhoun to the late Elbridge and Rena Mae Tillotson and was later married
to William Fred Girvin. She was a homemaker and a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church, where she was also active in the Young At Heart Group. Ann served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross and was also a member of the Livermore Homemakers. Her husband, Fred Girvin, died July 25, 1965.
Survivors include a son, Freddie Girvin of Livermore; a daughter and her husband, Susan and Tom Quirk of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Bobbi Mann, Sherri Donahue, Eric Girvin and Matthew Quirk; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Tillotson of Almagorado, N.M.; a sister, Kat Tillotson Scheerer of Huntington, Ind.; and two sisters-in-law, Sue Girvin of Livermore and Coleta Girvin of Markle, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Shockley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with the Girvin family from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at Musters in Livermore.
Robert Louie Perryman Jr.

CENTRAL CITY - Robert Louie Perryman Jr., 69, of Central City, died there Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Sparks Nursing Home. He was a retired instructor from the Earl E. Clements Job Corps in Morganfield and retired from the Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Williams; and a brother, John S. Williams.
Graveside services: 1 p.m. Sunday at Mapleview cemetery in Marion with military rites. Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Timothy J. Martin

Dr. Timothy J. Martin, 48, formerly of Evansville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2004, in Wawaka, Ind. Tim was a 1974 graduate of Mater Dei High School, received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University. Tim was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Ligonier, Ind., and employed as a veterinarian by Frick Services of Wawaka. He was a member of the Indiana Veterinarian Medical Association and American Veterinarian Medical Association. Tim was currently serving on West Noble Board of Education and West Noble Athletic Boosters. He had previously served on West Noble AIDS Advisory Council, St. Patrick Parish Council and Noble County Pork Producer's Association. Tim was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame fan. He especially loved his family and was always available to support his children's endeavors. His faithful dog, Beau, was near and dear to his heart.
Tim is survived by his wife, Janell; a son, Daniel; and two daughters, Emily Martin of Columbus, Ohio, and Amanda Martin of South Bend, Ind. Also surviving Tim are his parents, Francis and Mary Martin of Poseyville, Ind.; two sisters, Mary (Bill) Pigman and Ann (Tim) Bitter of Evansville; and three brothers, Michael (Rita) Martin of Poseyville, Paul (Candace) Martin of Evansville and James (Denise) Martin of Owensboro. Tim was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ligonier, with burial in Oak Park cemetery. Locally, a memorial Mass will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, Sept. 29, in St. Wendel Catholic Church. The family will receive relatives and friends at a reception in the St. Wendel School cafeteria immediately following the memorial Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Wendel Catholic Church.

POWDERLY - Joseph Lynn Simmons, 21, of Powderly died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Powderly. He worked at Burger King.
Survivors include his wife, Tabitha Callahan Simmons; a son, Jakob Thomas Simmons; a daughter, Angelia Lynn Simmons; his mother, Patty Horton; his father, Henry Thomas Simmons I; his stepmother, Carolyn Simmons; five brothers, Joshua Walker, Paul Walker Jr., Hank Simmons, Jonathan Shelton and Timothy Thomas; three sisters, Katie Jean-Anne Simmons, Stephanie Brown and Brittany Brown; and his grandparents, Aloysius and Irene Smith, Robert Jesse Simmons and Glen and Nola Pierce.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial: Friendship cemetery in Greenville. Visitation: After 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Betty L. Lott

Betty L. Lott, 67, of 1108 Kentucky 1554, Owensboro, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A native of Owensboro, she was born on March 19, 1937, to the late Lyle and Katherine Louise Mulligan Kelly. She was retired from Medley Distillery. Betty was a member of Stanley Baptist Church and was also well known and loved by Sorgho Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Alexis McKenzie Hatcher and Autumn Renee Stratton.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Don Lott Sr.; six children and their spouses, Judy Towery-Croslin and Eugene Croslin of Philpot, Kathy and Steve Wilkey of Owensboro, Kenny Hatcher of Owensboro, Richard and Adeline Joy Hatcher of Owensboro, Donnie Lott of Owensboro and Troy Lott of Columbia, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Judy Kelly and Tony and Janet Kelly of Owensboro; and her loving dog, Mugsy.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Rosehill cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from noon until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at James H. Davis Funeral Home. Rendal Kinney

CALHOUN - Rendal Kinney, 72, of Highway 136 West, Calhoun, died Thursday Oct. 14, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. Edwin Rendal Kinney was born Oct. 22, 1931, in McLean County to the late W.F. and Eunice Kinney. He was a retired machinist and a member of the Beulah General Baptist Church. Rendal was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Kinney of Pleasant Ridge and Glenn Kinney of Katy, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Kinney-Ayer of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, Samantha Kinney, Charles Race Kinney, Marcus Kinney and Tony Kinney; a great-grandson, Harrison Andrew Kinney; and two sisters, Stella Scott of Calhoun and Nancy Kahihikolo of Clarksville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Kirt Scott officiating. Friends may visit with the Kinney family from 1 p.m. until time of services today at Musters in Calhoun.
Robert Edward 'Bobby' Basham

HARDINSBURG - Robert Edward "Bobby" Basham, 44, of Hardinsburg died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at his home. He was a riverboat pilot for Marathon Ashland Petroleum.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Basham; a son, Bobby Joe Basham; three daughters, Jennifer Perry, Cheryl Harrison and Cynthia Basham; two brothers, Carl Basham and John Basham; and three sisters, Bonnie Ambrose, Patricia Senkbeil and Vickie Basham.
Services: 3 p.m. Monday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg. Visitation: From 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Charles Daymond Geary

BEAVER DAM - Charles Daymond Geary, 80, of Greenville died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Ohio County and retired as a mechanic from Smith Chevrolet in Hammond, Ind. He was a member of Living Hope Temple in Illinois, Bannock Lodge No. 824 F&AM in Butler County and DAV Commanders Club. He was a member of Scottish Rite and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verda Mae Geary, who died Aug. 22, 1980; and a daughter, Sheila Mae Knowles, who died Aug. 20, 2003.
Survivors include five sons, Charles Geary of Bicknell, Ind., Michael Geary of Cromwell, James Geary of Duquoin, Ill., Daymond Geary of Juneau, Alaska, and Steven Geary of Homossa Spring, Fla.; two daughters, Kathy Jones of Beaver Dam and Karen Kiper of Greenville; three sisters, Barbara Belcher of Beaver Dam and Tootsie Stayton and Joyce Marcell, both of Louisville; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Echols cemetery with military honors. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. today.
Margaret Jones Mattingly

Margaret Jones Mattingly, 87, of Carmel Home died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at the Carmel Home. She was born Nov. 3, 1916, in Daviess County to I.L. Molohon and Mary M. Wathen Molohon and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a former member of the altar society and the funeral choir. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Jones, on June 3, 1980, and her second husband, Leo Mattingly, on July 15, 1997.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Edward A. and his wife, Elaine Jones, of Paducah and Dr. Roger and his wife, Marian Jones, and Raymond and his wife, Marianne Jones, all of Owensboro; two daughters, Gemma and her husband, Bill Kinder, of Blake City, Fla., and Rosemary and her husband, Larry Wallace, of Rock Hill, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Frances Molohon of Owensboro, Sister Martha Molohon, OLVM, of Columbia, Magdalen Kaelin of Sorgho and Mary Lucy Hines of Friendly Village.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa cemetery. The Rev. Richard Meredith will officiate.

HAWESVILLE - Rossie Wilkerson Jr., 58, of Hawesville died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess County and retired from Willamette Industries Inc.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracey Cline of Bowling Green and Kelley Daugherty of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Lauren and Zach Daugherty of Owensboro and Carson and Cameryn Cline of Bowling Green; two brothers, Paul Faye Wilkerson of Owensboro and George Wilkerson of Pellville; and four sisters, Martha Rose Towery of Owensboro, Wilma Evans of Owensboro, Joan Walton of Bowling Green and Betty Sue Peacock of Owensboro.
Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Sunday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
