Dolores Virginia Gronauer, 77, of Erlanger, died at noon Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. She was a retired cashier with Newport Board of Education, was active in the Newport Parent Teacher Association, and was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Newport. Her husband, Claude Gronauer, died in 1995.

Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Herald of Erlanger and Pam Walsh of Bellevue; a brother, Robert Jones of Bellevue; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ, Park Avenue and Nelson Place, Newport, Ky. 41071.

Raymond Thomas Horn, 79, of Park Hills, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at his residence.

Arrangements are pending at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere-Erlanger.

Kathy Wimsatt Kenter, 39, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a credit-card collector with Citicorp Credit Services Inc., Erlanger, and a charter member of the Beechgrove Lions Club.

Survivors include her husband, Fred "Chip" Kenter; sons, Michael Thomas Kenter and Kyle Daniels Kenter, both of Florence; her mother, Boots B. Wimsatt of Elsmere; sisters, Rita Davis of Walton, Karen Staub of Florence, Becky Rust of Camp Springs, Beverly Pelle of Alexandria and Laura Hall and Viki Egan, both of Independence; and brothers, Gaylon Wimsatt Sr. and Keith Wimsatt, both of Florence, Timothy Wimsatt of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Daniel Wimsatt of Elsmere.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials: to the charity of the donor's choice.

George H. Little, 61, of Covington, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Mae Lewis Little; a son, George Little Jr. of Cincinnati; a daughter, Philethia Little of Cincinnati; a stepson, Alfonso Lewis, at home; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Jones & Simpson Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. today. Burial will be in Linden Grove Cemetery, Covington.

Irene A. White Lizer, 71, of Burlington, died Monday at her home. Arrangements are pending at Stith Funeral Home, Florence.

Olive New, 86, of Latonia, died Tuesday at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home in Latonia. Arrangements are pending at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia.

Dorothy L. Robinson, 75, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a shipping clerk with Rockwell International, Florence, and a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul F. Robinson; daughters, Bonnie L. Fryburger of Cincinnati and Pamela Porter of Davis, Calif.; a son, James R. Robinson of Florence; a brother, Charles Rosenstiel of Edgewood; a stepsister, Elizabeth Stephenson of Florence; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Thursday. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 1885 Dixie Highway, Suite 250, Ft. Wright, Ky. 41011.

Dr. Winfred Neil Shelton, 78, of Ames, Iowa, formerly of Covington, died Feb. 20 at Grand Avenue Care Center in Ames. He was a psychiatrist in private practice in Ames, and was formerly on staff at the V.A. Medical Center in Salem, Va., and the V.A. Medical Center in Knoxville, Iowa. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. A son, Dr. Grady H. Shelton, died Feb. 13.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Smith Shelton; a daughter, Marcia C. Ward of Marshalltown, Iowa; a son, Jeffrey C. Shelton of Woodinville, Wash.; brothers, Bertrand Shelton of Edgewood and Skeezix Shelton of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Nancy Martin of Edgewood; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services for Dr. Shelton and his son will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, Ames. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Ames First Christian Church, 611 Clark Ave., Ames, Iowa 50010. Adams Funeral Home, Ames, is handling arrangements.

Kathie Joy Nolan Watson, 40, of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Sunday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. She was a detailer with Blue Jay Car Wash in Aberdeen, and a member of Minerva United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Lee Watson; sons, Steve Laakso and Corey Watson, both of Aberdeen; a daughter, Katrina Laakso of Ripley, Ohio; and her parents, Stephen Nolan of Winter Haven, Fla., and Catherine Brown Shields of Dover.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Minerva United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Palmer Funeral Home, Germantown. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown. Memorials are suggested to Minerva United Methodist Church, Minerva, Ky. 41062.

Eleanor M. Wehrle, 70, of Newport, died at 5:42 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Howard J. Wehrle; daughters, Carol Manning of Elsmere and Kimberly Feldkamp of Cold Spring; sons, Michael J. Wehrle of Newport and Howard J. Wehrle Jr. and Gregory L. Wehrle, both of Edgewood, and Richard W. Wehrle of Erlanger; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Raymond Lawrence Wilson Sr., 95, of Bellevue, died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. He was owner of Wilson Appliance and Furniture, Household Distributors in Bellevue and Newport, and a member of Calvary Tower Methodist Church, Bellevue. He also was a member of Newport Masonic Lodge No. 358 F&AM; Scottish Rite, and a past president of the Bellevue Business Association.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Thomas Wilson; a daughter, Shirley Torrey of Bellevue; a son, Raymond Wilson Jr. of Spring Hill, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation begins there at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Jean Koening Zimmerman, 67, of Villa Hills, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a retired records clerk with Madonna Manor, Villa Hills. Her husband, Frank Zimmerman, died in 1991.

Survivors include sons, Stephen M. Zimmerman and Gregory J. Zimmerman, both of Villa Hills; daughters, Kathy M. Melching of Lakeside Park and Julie Z. Coleman of Ft. Wright; brothers, Jim Koening of Florence, Paul Koening of Elsmere and Bob Koening of Covington; a sister, Delores Heitzman of Sun City, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to Madonna Manor, 2344 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, Ky. 41017.

Raymond Horn, Park Hills reserve officer

Raymond Thomas Horn enjoyed helping his neighbors and would go to great lengths to prove his commitment.

Even if it meant serving many years as a reserve police lieutenant in Park Hills.

"It was very interesting work and he did it for a long time," said Clara Horn, his wife of 57 years.

Mr. Horn, 79, of Park Hills, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home.

He was a retired employee of Meadow Gold Ice Cream Co. and an Army veteran of World War II. A son, Berry Horn, died in a 1978 auto accident.

The Horns moved to Park Hills in the 1950s and shortly after their arrival Mr. Horn was asked to serve on the police department. He agreed and began a long association in law enforcement, his wife said.

Mr. Horn also enjoyed boating and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a good family man, his wife said.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sandra Nienaber of Villa Hills; a sister, Edna Whitman of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.

Ibra "Tuffy" Lee Boshears, 40, of Florence, died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday. He was a contractor with Boshears Construction Co., Dayton, and a member of Dayton Eagles.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Hoh; a stepdaughter, Desiree Burton of Florence; a son, Teddy Wayman of Cincinnati; his mother, Marylin Tolle Boshears of Dayton; brothers, Johnny Boshears, Billy Boshears, Hymer Boshears and Troy Boshears, all of Dayton, and Jimmy Boshears of Newport; sisters, Teresa Bucchi and Dolly Boshears, both of Newport, and Holly McLaughlin of Cold Spring.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Northern Kentucky Mental Health Association, 605 Madison Ave., Covington, Ky. 41011; or to the funeral home, 215 Sixth Ave., Dayton, Ky., 41074, to help with funeral expenses.
