Betty Sue Curtis, 62, of Augusta, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was owner of Needmore Grocery, Augusta, and was a member of Augusta Presbyterian Church and the Augusta Fireman's Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Adrian Curtis; daughters, Karen Thornsbury and Jill Kiskaden, both of Augusta, and Angie McKenzie of Lexington; a sister, Gay Myers of Lenoxburg; and three grandchildren.

George A. Darby, of Petersburg, died Saturday at his home. He was a farmer. A son, Dennis Darby, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Hankins Darby; a son, George G. Darby of Petersburg; a daughter, Kathy Gibson of Dayton; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Louise Brockman Diersing, 88, of Ft. Wright, died Saturday at Highland Crossing, Ft. Wright. She was a retired teacher with Cincinnati Public Schools, and a member of St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright. She was a former member of St. Mary Church, Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Catholic Women's Club. Her husband, Joseph Diersing, died in 1965.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Diersing Jr. of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Ann Weber of Lakeside Park; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Church. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calgary Cemetery, Cincinnati. Linda Lou Gericke, 51, of Covington, died at noon Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, George Gericke; daughters, Valeria Brown and Kimberly Gericke, both of Covington; a brother, Ralph Myers of East Dubuque, Ill.; sisters, Sue Priebe of East Dubuque, Ill.; Sarah McVay of Rewey, Wis., Loretta Munsen of Rewey, Wis., and Clara Rooney of Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Herman V. Gwin, 96, of Covington, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

Jane Evelyn Hewling, 80, of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Ft. Mitchell, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of Hotel/Motel Greeters International Inc. Her husband, Richard A. Hewling, died in 1989.
Survivors include a son, Richard T. Hewling of New Orleans; a daughter, Mary Jane Fox of Monroe, Ohio; a sister, Margaret Patterson of Fairfield, Ohio; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Howard B. Hoffert, 69, of Cold Spring, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Lakeside Place, Highland Heights. He was a retired printer with the Cincinnati Enquirer. His wife, Doris Ann Emmett Hoffert, died in 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Rack of Cold Spring; sons, John E. Hoffert of Bowlingbrook, Ill., and Joe Hoffert of Ft. Thomas; a brother, Jerry Hoffert of Cold Spring; and six grandchildren.

Harry Paul Lane, 74, of Dayton, died at 2:11 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired machinist with American Tool Co., and a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Virginia Wallen Lane, died in 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Lane of Taunton, Mass.; sons, Jeffrey Lane and Rodney Lane, both of Dayton; sisters, Lois Fowler and Camelia Day of Dayton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gladys F. Larsen, 85, of Taylor Mill, died at 12:48 a.m. Saturday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. She was a retired Internal Revenue Service worker in Covington, and was a member of Madison Avenue Christian Church, Covington. Her husband, Paul E. Larsen, died in 1959.

Erma Mangold Mann, 87, of Gardnersville, died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker and a former nurses' aide with Butler Rest Home, the Dry Ridge Personal Care Home and Regency Manor in Independence. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Pendleton County. Her husband, Howard Taft Mann, died in 1963. A son, Bryce Clayton Mann, died in 1982.
Survivors include sons, Gilbert Mann and Paul Mann, both of Crittenden; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Senior Citizens Club in Burlington, the Boone County Book Club and Florence Homebreakers club. Her husband, Carl F. Mueller Sr., died in 1994.
