Kristin Marie Gregory,, 13, of Florence, died in a traffic accident on I-75 near Walton Wednesday. Her mother, Kathryn Marie Gregory, also died in the crash.

Kristin Marie was a student at R. A. Jones Middle School in Florence, where she was a member of the student council, a cheerleader and worked on the school office staff.

She was also active in speech and drama at the school.

Survivors include her father, Steven Gregory; a stepsister, Angie Gregory of Alexandria; and grandparents, Pat Hoppenjans of Covington, and George and Martha Rassenfoss of Paris, Ky.

Mass of Christian burial for Kristin Marie and her mother will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Church in Florence. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

Florence L. "Boots" Haley, 70, of Erlanger, died Thursday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Covington.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Haley; sons, David Haley of Ryland Heights and Staff Sgt. Mark Haley of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.; a sister, Edith Heis of Elsmere; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to Olsten Health Services, 2670 Chancellor Drive, Crestview Hills, Ky. 41017; or American Cancer Society, 7730 U. S. 42, Suite C6, Florence, Ky. 41042.

Elizabeth Heeger, 88, of Independence, died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Staffordsburg United Methodist Church, Kenton County. Her husband, William Heeger Sr., died in 1982.

Survivors include sons, William Heeger Jr. of Greenville Tenn., George Heeger of Morning View and John Robert Heeger of Garrettsville, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Stephens of Mason, Ohio; a sister, Mary Petty of Erlanger; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wilmington Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Staffordsburg United Methodist Church, 11815 Staffordsburg Road, Independence, Ky. 41051; or St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.

Lillian Petty, 83, of Covington, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired beautician.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Redwood Rehabilitation Center, 71 Orphanage Road, Ft. Mitchell, Ky. 41017.

Charles Satchwill, 84, of Independence, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a construction millwright and a member of Bradford Masonic Lodge No. 123 F&AM, Independence.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Zerbes Satchwill; a son, Charles Satchwill Jr. of Independence; daughters, Elaine King of Falmouth and Barbara DiPuccio of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.

Georgia Elizabeth Silvey, 91, of Falmouth, died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired telephone solicitor with Kay Furniture Co. Her husband, Frank L. Silvey, died in 1964. Sons Andrew H. Hirsch and Frankie Silvey both preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Joseph Silvey of Florence and George "Butch" Silvey of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; a daughter, Georgia Lee Scott of Elsmere; sisters, Marcella Lenhoff of Alexandria and Vena Lou Riggs of Ludlow; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Church, Covington. Visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. John Church, 627 Pike St., Covington, Ky. 41011; or American Cancer Society, 7730 U. S. 42, Suite C6, Florence, Ky. 41042.

Florence "Tootie" Gamm Webb, 79, of Erlanger, died at 9:09 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a former cashier with several local shops, including Malloy's Market in Covington, and Koenig's Market, Mitchell's Market and Palmer's Pharmacy, all in Erlanger. Her husband, Gilbert O. Webb, died in 1960. A son, Jeffrey A. Webb, died in 1991.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Bramlage of Milford, Ohio, and Patricia E. Colmar of Florence; sons, Gilbert R. Webb of Independence, Louis A. Webb of Erlanger and Scott A. Webb of Latonia; a sister, Etta Ash of Covington; brothers; Ralph Gamm of Edgewood and Barney Gamm of Florence; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will begin there at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright.

Aubrey J. Kennedy, bus driver

Aubrey J. Kennedy was a retired Greyhound bus driver who set a solid example for his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Kennedy, 85, of Williamstown, died Friday at his residence.

Mr. Kennedy was a kind, honest man who believed in putting in a good day's work for a good day's pay. He puttered in his garden and grew tomatoes and peppers that often wound up on the dinner table.

"He had a heck of a green thumb. He could make anything grow," said a grandson, Dean Bingham of Effingham, Ill.

"My brother once brought back some seeds from Germany. I think he has a tree here that came from that seed."

He also was a former barber and Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Athens Baptist Church, Mendenhall, Miss., and a member of the Robert P. McLachlin American Legion Post No. 137.

Mr. Kennedy often drove his bus from Williamstown to Cincinnati to Lexington. He also drove some routes from Kentucky to Tennessee.

He kept a barber's chair at his home and often cut hair for family, friends and neighbors. He tinkered with tools and machines and had a knack for repairing just about anything, his grandson said.

"He could take things apart and fix them, too," Mr. Bingham said. "I was down in the base ment, and I admire the different tools he used."

Other survivors include his wife, Gayla Perry Kennedy; a daughter, Darlene Bingham of Charleston, Ill.; sisters, Zona Knauff of Brandon, Miss., Willie Hilton of Star, Miss., and Rena Berry of Mendenhall, Miss.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Dry Ridge Christian Church, 13 School St., Dry Ridge, Ky. 41035.

John W. "Jack" Davis, 83, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Covington, died May 2 at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Fla. He was a retired manufacturer's representative with Collins Associates and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Davis; a brother, Robert E. Davis of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Janet Van Velzel of Lakeland, Fla.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Ft. Mitchell. The family will receive friends following the services at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kroger, 1929 Fortside Circle, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Burns Institute, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229; or Cancer Research Center, in care of Christ Hospital, 2139 Auburn Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45219. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor, Fla., handled arrangements.

Sandra Sue Frazier, 49, of Owenton, died Thursday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She formerly worked for Allied Signal, Frankfort, and was a member of Squiresville Baptist Church, Owen County.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Frazier; daughters, Laura Louise Frazier and Kristy Lee Ann Frazier, both of Owenton; a brother, William Kenneth Taylor of Frankfort; and a sister, Carolyn Warren of Frankfort.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owenton IOOF Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Squiresville Baptist Church, Squiresville Road, Owenton, Ky. 40359.

Lorena Alice Greer, 74, of Florence, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday at Florence Park Care Center. She was a retired coordinator for Levi Strauss and Company, Florence, and a member of First Church of Christ, Burlington. Her husband, Paul H. Greer, died in 1988, and a son, Frankie McKinley Greer, died in 1977.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Greer of Florence; sisters, Bobbie Cruze of Cincinnati, Sally Crawford of Newport and Edith Farmer of Woolum; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to First Church of Christ, 6080 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Ky. 41005.
