Eugene G. Smith was an aerodynamics engineer whose skilled hands matched a keen intellect.
Mr. Smith could sew. He could fix appliances. He could repair cars. He could even build additions to houses.

The Smiths also entertained many children and neighbors at their home, Thomas Smith said.
"There were a lot of us and we all had friends. Everybody in Campbell County had a party at the pool he built at his house in Ft. Thomas," Thomas Smith said.
