Lee Burns, 76, of Mt. Olivet, died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. He was a retired farmer and a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Adamson Burns; daughters, Nancy Gifford of Sardis, Nellie Adamson and Rhonda Six, both of Mt. Olivet; a son, Ronnie Burns of Sardis; stepsons, Ivan D. Adamson of Flemingsburg, Donald Duggie Adamson of Maysville, Toddy Dugan of Maysville, the Rev. Johnny Adamson of Manchester and Duane Adamson of Aiken, S.C.; stepdaughters, Betty Jo Rice of Flemingsburg, Mary Harney of Dayton, Ohio, Carol Rudy of Prestonsburg, Cheryl Tuel of Sardis and Debbie Clark of Winchester; a brother, Paul Burns of Norwood, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 22 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Mays Lick. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fosters Chapel Cemetery, Robertson County. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olivet-Robertson County Life Squad, Mt. Olivet, Ky. 41064.

Lena Brown Calloway, 77, of Louisville, formerly of Butler, died Friday in Louisville. She was a homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Carol Clark of Butler and Sandra Rice of Louisville; a brother, Roy Standford of Louisville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 7730 U. S. 42, Suite C6, Florence, Ky. 41042.

Arthur Crowe Sr., 80, of Alexandria, died Saturday at his son's home in Alexandria. He was a retired employee of Lockwood Manufacturing Co., Cincinnati, and a former employee of Hartwood Golf Course. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Elsie Reed Crowe, died April 3.

Survivors include sons, Charlie Crowe of Alexandria, Arthur Crowe of Erlanger and Richard Crowe of Canaan, Ind.; six sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 1 West McDonald Parkway, Maysville, Ky. 41056.

Robert James "Jimmy" Cunningham, 69, of Latonia, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at Harrison House, Cincinnati. He was a retired travel agent with Richard Lewis Travel Service, Cincinnati, a member of Scottish Rite Latonia Chapter No. 746, and a volunteer with the Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include daughters, Christie Dunn of Springboro, Ohio, and Marcia Lewis of Montgomery, Ala.; a sister, Louise Green of Latonia; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans, 717 W. Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

Phyllis Finnell, 99, of Elsmere, died Friday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Barnes Temple A.M.E. Church, Elsmere, and Golden Age Club, Elsmere.

Survivors include sons, Charles Finnell of Harrisburg, Pa., and Irvin Finnell of Chicago; a daughter, Wanda Waller of Florence; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Barnes Temple A.M.E. Church, Elsmere. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Jones and Simpson Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Glenn Dalton Henry, 86, of Hebron, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a Cincinnati Bell maintenance worker. A son, Dalton Henry, died in 1990.

Survivors include a son, Samuel Glenn Henry of Cincinnati; daughters, Doris New of Cynthiana, Joyce Schaffer of Cincinnati and Brenda Roberts of Hebron; a brother, Gayle Henry of Loveland, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home, Corinth. Visitation will begin there at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Dunn Cemetery, Corinth.

Virgil Holt, 72, of Covington, died at noon Saturday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a self-employed contractor and an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include sons, Johnny Holt of Newport and Steve Holt of Dayton; daughters, Karen Holt of Williamstown, Elaine Holt of Dayton and Betsey Holt of Newport; sisters, Bessie Bustle and Lucie Mullins, both of Latonia, and Della Arnold of Mt. Vernon; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Alean Howard, 75, of Berry, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Falmouth. A son, Bobby Howard, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Wilmer Chuck Howard; sons, Glenn Howard of Berry and Gary Lee Howard of Falmouth; a daughter, Joyce Fryman of Berry; brothers, Paul Kidwell and Roy Kidwell, both of Georgetown; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. today at Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry.

Walter W. Johnston, 85, of Independence, died Thursday at his home. He was owner of Johnston Smorgasbord, a member of American Legion Post No. 4 in Florence, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include sons, Al Johnston of Florence and William Johnston of Columbia, S.C.; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence.

Jacob "Ike" Jump, 85, of Owenton, died Saturday at Owenton Manor nursing home in Owenton. He was a barber with Longview State Hospital, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and Owen Lodge No. 128 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Maddox Jump; a son, James W. Jump of Cincinnati; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Macedonia Baptist Church, Jonesville, Ky. 41052.

Rachel Long, 89, of Latonia, died at 2:10 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Manor, Covington. She was a former waitress for Carrs Restaurant, Covington, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Covington. Her husband, William Bernard Long, died in 1983.

Survivors include sons, Gene Long of Walton and Bob Long of Florida; sisters, Mary Edgington of Hamilton, Ohio, and Elsie Hampton of Latonia; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were this morning at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Burial was in East Bend Bottoms Cemetery, Union.

Marie Martin, 78, of Coving- ton, died at 11:05 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Uptown Church, Cincinnati. Her husband, Edward Martin, died in 1986.

Survivors include sons, Steven W. Martin of Florence and Paul Martin of Covington; brothers, Elmer Cravens of Cin-cinnati, Louis Cravens of Los Angeles and Lloyd Cravens of Idaho; and three grandchildren.

Douglas Wendell Mayes, 74, of Walton, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at his home after an extended illness. He was an employee of Jefferson Smurfit Corp., Cincinnati, and a member of Covington Masonic Lodge No. 109, Scottish Rite Valley of Covington, Syrian Temple of Cincinnati and American Legion Post No. 277 in Walton. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Wanda Nell Spears, died in 1996.

Survivors include sons, Charles D. Mayes of Sparta, Larry Mayes of Cary, N.C., and Danny Mayes of Walton; daughters, Brenda Brown of Central City, Regina Mayes of Dayton, Rita Courtney of Verona and Karen Angel of Walton; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton, with masonic services at 7:30. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

McCormick of Sanders, John William McCormick of Carrollton and Ernest McCormick of Indianapolis; a sister, Terri Diane Oak of Ghent; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services were this morning at Ghent Masonic Cemetery. Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton, handled arrangements.

Dorothy M. Rich, 73, of Florence, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Earl J. Rich, died in 1993.

Survivors include daughters, Sherry Linton of Fort Wright and Carol Roberts of Florence; sons, Dennis Rich of Florence, Ronald Rich of Burlington and Wayne Rich of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Sue Carol Bates of Cincinnati and Gladys Noel of Ludlow; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
