Jepp Griffith, 84, of Taylor Mill, died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a retired maintenance worker with the Ford Motor Co. in Cincinnati. Mr. Griffith and his wife, Ellen R. Reynolds Griffith, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary Friday.

Other survivors include a son, Millard Griffith of Southgate; a daughter, Nancy Sebastian of Taylor Mill; a brother, Robin Griffith of Sebastian's Branch; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Highland Avenue Baptist Tabernacle, 1080 Highland Ave., Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075; or Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075.

Bernice Hammons, 84, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired teacher with the Newport, Campbell County and Cincinnati school systems and was a member of the Alexandria Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include sons, Grant Hammons of Indianapolis, James E. Hammons of Alexandria and John W. Hammons of Fort Thomas; sisters, Ava J. Farris of East Bernstadt, Ky., and Dessie Watkins of Cincinnati; brothers, Glenn Slusher of Trenton, Ohio, James R. Slusher Jr. of Lexington and Lenos Slusher of Williamsburg; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Marie "Bettie" Koch Kohorst, 78, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at her home.

Alberta R. Kruse, 91, of Covington, died Sept. 19 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a retired maid.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Kruse of Covington and Barbara Spurling of Clermont County, Ohio; a sister, Dolly Brachman of Covington; and one grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

Elmer Kuhnheim, 80, of Newport, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a sterilizer repair technician with Children's Hospital, Cincinnati, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Kuhnheim; sons, Jim Jackson of Aurora, Ind., Dale Kuhnheim and Wayne Kuhnheim, both of Melbourne, and Gary Kuhnheim of Erlanger; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.

Alice Lovelace, 81, of Independence, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. She was a retired clerk with Big Star Grocery in Florida, and a member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Her husband, Carl Lovelace, died in 1977.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Wright of Florida; two brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Cemetery, Palmetto, Fla. Lillie Mae Ayres Meyer, 78, of Highland Heights, died Friday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a retired store manager with Feldmann Dairy stores in Fort Thomas, Newport and Dayton.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen J. Meyer; daughters, Carolyn Colegate of Cincinnati, Patricia Boughner of Bellevue and Linda Sanders of California, Ky.; sons, James Meyer of Manchester and Marty Meyer of Campbell County; brothers, James Ayres of Warsaw and Bob Ayres of Vevay, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.

Christopher Dean Mineer, 28, of Brooksville, died Friday at his home of a gunshot wound. He was a landscaping and concrete worker.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald Dean Mineer of Maysville and Linda Marie Bravard Mineer of Brooksville; sisters, Tina Mineer Cooper and Renee Mineer, both of Brooksville, and Virginia Mineer of Chicago; and grandparents, Virginia Bravard of Brooksville and Lillian Mineer of Maysville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Powersville Cemetery, Brooksville.

Leo Monbarren, 70, of Homosassa, Fla., formerly of Grant County, died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, Fla. He was a retired plasterer and a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Thelma Barnett Monbarren, died April 12.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Kunkle of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, James Lee Monbarren of St. Petersburg; stepsons, Ray Conrad, Thomas L. Conrad and Michael H. Conrad, all of Williamstown, and Bubby Conrad of Dry Ridge; his mother, Ruth Lucille Morrison; a brother, Roger Lee Monbarren of Largo, Fla.; sisters, Norma Cummings of Wooster, Ohio, and Vera Zimmerman of Altaloma, Calif.; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Carmen Jett Moorhead, 24, of Brooksville, was killed Friday at her home. She was an eighth-grade science teacher with Phillip Sharp School, Butler, and a member of Brooksville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her parents, Bronson Jett and Carolyn Free Moorhead of Brooksville; and a grandmother, Helen Free of Brooksville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brooksville United Methodist Church. Mary Lorraine Neumann, 78, of Highland Heights, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a member of Campbell County Senior Citizens and Southgate Senior Citizens.

Survivors include daughters, Debbie Chism Geary of Hebron and Dolores Green Dercole of Fort Thomas; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Delbert Noble, 62, of Alexandria, died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was a retired press operator with Formica Corp., Cincinnati, and a member of Newport Masonic Lodge No. 358 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Noble; sons, Ted Noble of Cold Spring and David Noble of Alexandria; a brother, Arnett Noble of Campton; half-brothers, Jim Francis and Larry Francis, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Elmer Francis of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sisters, Flossie Fields of Lost Creek, Florence Van Hook and Emma Lou Williams, both of Dayton, Ohio; half-sisters, Dorothy Reynolds of Yuma, Ariz., and Jerri Seyfors of Crestline; and four grandchildren.

Stanley B. Schleyer, 80, of Crestview Hills, died at 8:56 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired traffic manager with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a former member of the Legion of Mary at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Kirk Schleyer; a brother, Russell Schleyer of Fort Mitchell; and a sister, Virginia Kramer of Villa Hills.
