Albert Perin, 63, of Covington, died Wednesday at his home. Arrangements are pending at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Taylor Mill.

Godfrey "Goldy" Tretter, 78, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Covington, died Tuesday at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Fla.

He was a retired general manager with Stewart Sandwich Co., Cincinnati, and a former employee of Vogelmann Bakery, Newport, and the Fuller Brush Co.

He was a member of St. Anne Church, West Covington, where he was a eucharistic minister.

Mr. Tretter also was a member of All Saints Church in Clearwater, and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Norma R. Moylan Tretter; a son, Philip Tretter of Denedin, Fla.; daughters, Sandy Taylor of Dunellon, Fla., and Sue Foltz of Burlington; a brother, Richard Tretter of Covington; sisters, Leona Hazen of Bloomington, Ind., Mary Jo Shepard of Sebastian, Fla., and Almeda Sicko and Elsie Clingner, both of Covington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington. Curlew Hills Funeral Home in Palm Harbor, Fla., is handling arrangements.

Jacob Warren, 69, of Erlanger, died Tuesday at University Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a vaultman with Baxter Vault Co., Cincinnati, and a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, Cincinnati.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Warren; daughters, Linda Byers and Katherine Scott, both of Cincinnati; sons, Gary Warren of Amelia, Ohio, Jerry Warren, Michael Warren and Jacob Warren Jr., all of Cincinnati, Dennis Warren of Newport and Mitchell Warren of Erlanger; brothers, Isaac Warren of Plymouth, Ind., and Bill Warren of Franklin, Tenn.; sisters, Betty Garland of Las Vegas, Wanda Grubbs of Franklin, Tenn., Charlotte Doyle and Mary Polk, both of Hamilton, Ohio; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will begin there at 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Reading Cemetery in Reading, Ohio. Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick, is handling arrangements.

Earlene Gail "Sissy" Wilson, 54, of Williamstown, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County in Williamstown.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Padgett; a son, Anthony Wayne Wilson of Houston; daughters, Telina Jane Bratton of Houston and Teri Lynne Koglin of Butler, Pa.; her mother, Alta Mae Martin Dunn of Williamstown; a sister, Patsy Nunnelley of Williamstown; a brother, Pete Humphries of Napoleon; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes. Association, 2805 W. McMicken Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45225.

Phillip "Jerry' Greeson, GE designer

Phillip "Jerry" Greeson picked up technical and musical skills easily.

"He was very good at just picking up things. He was a quick learner," said his daughter, Michele Greeson Hughes of Florence.

Mr. Greeson, 57, of Erlanger, died Saturday morning in the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.

He was a engineering designer with General Electric, Cincinnati, until taking a disability retirement a year ago, Mrs. Hughes said. A native of Dayton, Mr. Greeson worked for General Electric for years, and the firm sent him to the University of Cincinnati for aeronautical technical training, his daughter said.

"With training in the armed forces and his schooling at UC he had the equivalent of a college degree," Mrs. Hughes said.

Mr. Greeson also picked up the guitar on his own, and played at church meetings, she said.

Mr. Greeson was a member of Vineyard Fellowship Church, Florence. He couldn't attend services in recent months because of his health, Mrs. Hughes said, but members of the church visited with him often. "The people are wonderful there," she said.

An Army veteran in the years before Vietnam, Mr. Greeson also coached Knothole Baseball for a time, Mrs. Hughes said. "My husband, Joe, coached, and my father would laugh at the stories he told," she said.

Other survivors include his wife, C. Marie Napier Greeson; his mother, Margaret Greeson McCoy of Dayton; a sister, Linda McCoy Gifford of Dayton; brothers, Larry LaCally of Alexandria, and Mike McCoy of Bellevue, and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Emma Tripp Baird, 91, of Hurst, Texas , formerly of Covington, died Friday at H. E. B. Hospital in Hurst. Arrangements are pending at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia.

Everett Joseph Craven Jr., 65, of Latonia, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. Arrangements are pending at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia.

Charles Ray Dawson Sr., 68, of Newport, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was a retired Realtor with Century 21, and salesman with Riverside Ford, Newport. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Emma L. Farris Dawson; sons, Charles R. Dawson Jr., Patrick M. Dawson and Anthony P. Dawson, all of Newport; a daughter, Diana L. Tester of Newport; brothers, Julius Dawson Jr. and James L. Dawson, both of Lorain, Ohio; sisters, Mary Alice Fuleki of Lorain, Charline Gill and Doris Ann Clifford, both of New Richmond, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1419 Alexandria Pike, Ft. Thomas 41075.

Lucille Dews, 89, of Owenton, died Saturday at Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison, Ind. She was a homemaker and a member of Richland Baptist Church, Owenton.

Survivors include a son, Harry Dews of Madison, Ind.; a brother, Frank Mason of Taylor Mill; a sister, Viola Cox of Florence; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Seminary Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton. Memorials are suggested to the church.

Raymond "Sonny" Dickson, 63, of Maysville, died Saturday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was a machine operator with U.S. Shoe in Ripley, Ohio, and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Dickson; sons, Jerry Dickson and Terry Dickson, both of Flemingsburg; a daughter, Patty O'Bannon of Flemingsburg; stepsons, Mark Poe of Clarksville, Tenn., Michael Poe of Maysville and Terry Poe of Harveysburg, Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Armstrong, Penny Rice and Barbara Beckett, all of Maysville, and Betty Medley of Carlisle; a brother, Douglas Dickson of Marion, Ind.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Maysville. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery.

Mary Rose Duncan, 52, of Latonia, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a medical assistant in the offices of Dr. Alvin Poweleit, Covington, and Dr. A. C. Poweleit, Lakeside Park. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia.

Survivors include sons, Christopher Duncan of Seattle and Shae Duncan of Bellingham, Wash.; a daughter, Bridgette Mills of Cincinnati; brothers, Marty Drees of Ft. Thomas, Denny Drees of Florence, Norbert Drees of Dayton, Ohio, and Michael Drees of Latonia; sisters, Diane DeMoss of Latonia and Catherine Dibello of Covington; and two grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

Norman W. Ehlinger, 71, of Elsmere, died Friday at his home. He was a retired materials handler with Ford Motor Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Ralph Fulton VFW Post No. 6423, Elsmere.
