Mary Lou 'Dee' Biddle Hollon, 68, of Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Foster, died Thursday at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda. She was a retired accountant.

Survivors include her husband, James Hollon; and a sister, Ruth Marie Robinson of California.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery, California.

Emily Ruth Houp, 93, formerly of Ludlow, died at 5:15 a.m. today at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas.

Carrie M. Johnson, 97, of Highland Heights, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights. She was a retired cook and waitress.

Survivors include daughters, Athena Glenn and Masareta Drasher, both of Covington, Ruth Flannery of Michigan and Linda Brown of Danville, Ill.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Sadie Jones, 80, of Newport, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at Baptist Convalescent Home in Newport. She was a homemaker and a member of Florence Baptist Church, and Rosebud Chapter No. 39 Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, William Jones, died in 1962. A daughter, Mildred Cable, died in 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen Taylor of Walton; a brother, Rev. Stephen Jula of Cleveland; sisters, Ann Larnish and Helen Stackowitz, both of Ambridge, Pa., Virginia Pompeani of Aliquippa, Pa., Betty Mason of Fair Oaks, Calif., and Pearl Letkash of Freedom, Pa.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Baptist Convalescent Center, 120 Main St., Newport, Ky. 41071.

Thomas R. Kelly, 77, of Elsmere, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a grocery store manager, a member of AMVETS and an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Ruth Kelly, died in 1975.

Survivors include sons, Dan Kelly of Madison, Ind., David Kelly of Cincinnati, and Thomas Kelly of Pendleton County; daughters, Helen Weaver of Elsmere and Ann William of Wes Lake Village, Calif.; sisters, Irene Haas of Bellevue and Martha Hacker of Cincinnati; a brother, Edward Kelly of Bellevue; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to St. Luke Hospital West, 7380 Turfway Road, Florence, Ky. 41042.

Dora Miracle Landrum, 61, of Latonia, died at 8:55 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Albert Wayne Landrum, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Terrell of Latonia and Shelia Boatright of Miracle; a brother, Earnest Miracle of Calvin; and a sister, Cora Miracle of Calvin.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will began there at noon. Burial will be in Gardnersville Cemetery. Dorothy E. Klaene Lang, 91, of Covington, died at 1:55 p.m. Saturday at St. Charles Care Center, Fort Wright. She was a retired secretary with the Diocese of Covington and a member of Mother of God Church, Covington. She was a member of Senior Citizens of Northern Kentucky, Mother of God Altar Society and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Her husband, Joseph E. Lang Sr., died in 1959.

Survivors include a son, Joseph E. Lang Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; daughters, Dorothy Lang Gausepohl of Fort Wright and Marcia Lang Canter of Ross, Ohio; brothers, George Klaene of Erlanger and Robert Wehr of Covington; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Care Center. Visitation will begin there at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Memorials are suggested to St. Charles Care Center, 500 Farrell Drive, Fort Wright, Ky. 41011. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

John W. Maiorino, 74, of Highland Heights, died at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired tailor with Globe Tailoring, Cincinnati. His wife, Elizabeth Theresa Maiorino, died in 1983.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Ann Anderson of Oklahoma City and Linda Sue Maiorino of Cincinnati; sons, John N. Maiorino of Gambier, Ohio, James W. Maiorino of Norwood, Ohio, and Paul E. Maiorino of Twin Peaks, Calif.; a sister, Rose Schmidt of Newport; and five grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 1885 Dixie Highway, Suite 250, Fort Wright, Ky. 41011; or in the form of Masses.

Mary Louise Mather, 78, of Erlanger, died of cancer at 7:05 a.m. Sunday at her home. She was a sales associate with Wal-Mart, Florence, and a retired employee of ARC Record Co., Cincinnati. She was a charter member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Crestview Hills, where she was a member of the Ruth Circle and Chancel Choir, and made crosses that were distributed on Palm Sunday.

Mrs. Mather was active in Gloria Dei's predecessor, Zion Lutheran Church in Park Hills, where she was a Sunday school teacher and coordinated the church's Easter breakfast for more than 20 years. Her husband, Edward S. Mather Sr., and a daughter, Mareena L. Mather, both preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Sweeney Mather of Erlanger; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A reception will follow in the church's fellowship hall. Burial will be in Union Christian Church Cemetery, Hodgenville. Memorials are suggested to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2718 Dixie Highway, Crestview Hills, Ky. 41017. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

William Henry McNay Sr., 77, of Demossville, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired state highway worker and a member of Grassy Creek Christian Church, Pendleton County. His wife, Dorothy Patrick McNay, died in April 22. A son, Edward McNay, and daughters, Gina McNay and Sherry McNay, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include sons, Billy McNay of Burlington, Tommy McNay of Flemingsburg, Randy McNay and Charlie McNay, both of Demossville, and Ricky McNay of Alexandria; daughters, Dottie Brooksbank of Demossville, Mary Trinkle of Dry Ridge and Amy McNay of Demossville; a brother, Eugene McNay of Covington; sisters, Rose Woodley of Arkansas, and Lottie Mae Karr and Martha Aylor, both of Covington; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.

Lois Southwood Neace, 55, of Cynthiana, died Sunday at her home. She was a homemaker and a retired factory worker. A son, Christopher Neace, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Bernice Neace; sons, Bobby Neace, Glen Neace and Timmy Neace, all of Harrison County; brothers, Nathan Southwood and Jesse Southwood, both of Breathitt County; sisters, Margie Johnson and Mary Noble, both of Breathitt County, and Elizabeth Neace of Harrison County; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ware Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana.

Michelle R. Nickels, 34, of Worthville, died Saturday at Carroll County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Nickels; a daughter, Danielle Nicole Nickels of Worthville; a son, Josiah Phillip Nickels of Worthville; her parents, Phillip and Lora Butler Atkinson of Portland, Ind.; a sister, Tina Weaver of Richmond, Ind.; and grandparents, Herbert Adkinson of Portland, Ind., and Edward Butler of Arcadia, Fla.

Stanley G. Oliver, 61, of Covington, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday at his home. He was an independent truck driver, a member of AMVETS and an Army and Navy veteran.

Survivors include daughters, Penny Oliver of Michigan and Romona Oliver of Florida; sisters, Lois Hubbard, Debbie Robertson, Scarlet Robertson and Patty Robertson, all of Covington, Ruby Cochran of San Marcos, Calif., Nancy Oliver of Ohio, Sandra Oliver of Bethel, Ohio, and Janet Purcell of Fort Wright; and eight grandchildren.

Evelyn Evans Powell, 85, of Williamstown, died at 11:43 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County in Williamstown. She was a former employee of Phillips Films, Williamstown, and Mitts Laundromat in Williamstown. She was a member of Lystra Church of Christ, Grant County.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Powell Sr.; a son, Robert Powell Jr. of Williamstown; a brother, Ward B. Evans of Williamstown; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Oris Bertram 'Bert' Savely III, 66, of Summerville, S.C., died Thursday at his home. He was a retired law officer with Dorchester County, S.C., and a South Carolina State Constable. His wife, Juanita Savely, died in 1996.

Survivors include daughters, Shawna Jean Blanton of Lebanon, S.C., and Anne Michelle Ready of Seneca, S.C.; a sister, Barbara Fuller of Texas ; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Radel Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.

Dr. Vincent H. Schilling, 84, of Crestview Hills, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a retired dentist with a practice in Cincinnati, and was past president of the Cincinnati Dental Society, the Cincinnati Public Dental Service and the T.I. Way Study Club Forum. He was a fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a member of the Ohio, Kentucky and American dental associations.

Dr. Schilling was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell, where he was a past president of the Holy Name Society. His first wife, Pauline Schilling, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Bennett Schilling; a son, Jeffrey Schilling of Fort Mitchell; daughters, Karen Hoppenjans of Wilmington, Del., Gail Rieder of San Jose, Calif., Barbara Goldberg of Cincinnati, and Nancy Fischesser and Janet Fedders, both of Lakeside Park; 17 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Church, 2415 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017.

Leslie B. Smith, 89, of Ludlow, died at 10:40 p.m. Friday at Garrard Nursing Home, Covington. He was a retired assistant manager with Robke Chevrolet, Covington, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ludlow, and a former treasurer with the Panorama Apartments Senior Citizens in Covington.

He was a member of Unity Lodge No. 478 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Covington, and was a past president of the Oil Chemical & Atomic Workers No. 2344 AFL-CIO, Cincinnati. His wife, Louise Jackson Smith, died in 1988.

Survivors include his daughter, Betty Bickers of Covington.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will begin there at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church, 429 Oak St., Ludlow, Ky. 41016.
