Mary Beach, 91, of Covington, died at 9 a.m. Sunday at her home. Her husband, Edward Beach, died in 1972.

Survivors include a brother, James Laughlin of Bethel, Ohio.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Janet Lee Burchfield, 67, of Augusta, died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. A son, William Edward Burchfield Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Edward Burchfield; sons, Ronald Burchfield of Silver Grove, and Roy Burchfield and Charles Burchfield, both of Augusta; daughters, Jacqueline Riehel of Melbourne, Janet Holtz of West Chester, Ohio, and Gwendola Smith of Amelia, Ohio; brothers, Charles Spencer of Bethel, Ohio, and Bobby Spencer of Elsmere; sisters, Gail Spencer of Somerset, Peggy Sexton of Cincinnati, Marcella Pangallo of Newport and Gwendola Riley of Williamstown; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Augusta. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery, Vanceburg. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 1885 Dixie Highway, Suite 250, Fort Wright, Ky. 41011.

Marjorie Collier, 77, of Lakeside Park, died Monday at Florence Park Care Center in Florence.

Arrangements are pending at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington.

James Richard Daunt, 70, of Cold Spring, died at 7:24 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a past president of Postal Workers Union Local No. 374. He was a former member of the Bishop Brossart High School Development Committee and the Holy Name Society at St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Rust Daunt; a daughter, Barbara A. Grainger of Cold Spring; sons, Mark J. Daunt of Sarasota, Fla. and Neal D. Daunt of Taylor Mill; a brother, Jack E. Daunt of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and three granddaughters.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas, with prayers following. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.

Memorials are suggested to Bishop Brossart High School Building Fund, Grove and N. Jefferson, Alexandria, Ky. 41001.

Catherine Cleo Dermon, 87, of Ludlow, died Sunday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence.

Maurice Otto Dickman, 85, of Covington, died at 5:37 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Care Center in Fort Wright.

He was a retired personnel director with the H. & S. Pogue Co. Department Store in Cincinnati and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Narcissus Dickman.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Angela Duke, 66, of Dayton, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Duke Sr.; sons, David Duke, Greg Duke, Robby Duke and Jack Duke Jr., all of Dayton; daughters, Sherri Gulley of Dayton and Pam Schuetz of Fort Thomas; a sister, Rosella Griess of Dayton; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

James 'Pete' Frederick, 89, of Germantown, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a farmer. His wife, Nellie Adamson Jefferson Frederick, died in 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Alice Litzinger of Maysville; sons, James Henry Frederick of Florida, Richard Frederick of Augusta and Rodney Frederick of Covington; a sister, Ruth Teegarden of Robertson County; a brother, Junior Frederick of Robertson County; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Palmer Funeral Home, Germantown. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown.

Jeanna Ann Hensley, 35, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Covington, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Hensley Blevins of Hamilton, Ohio; brothers, Kelly Hensley Jr. of Verona, Dennis Hensley of Hamilton, Kenneth Hensley of Covington, and Ronald Hensley and Donald Hensley, both of Elsmere; and a sister, Linda Dawalt of Elsmere.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Colligan Funeral Home, Hamilton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in College Corner Cemetery, College Corner, Ind.

Emma Kirk, 88, of Kenton County, died Monday at Florence Park Care Center in Florence.

Melvin Gene Mastin, 60, of Panama City, Fla., formerly of Robertson County, died Sunday in Panama City. He was a retired Air Force sergeant.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Mastin; sons, Mark Allen Mastin and Michael Dewayne Mastin, both of Mount Olivet; brothers, Caryl Mastin of Cynthiana and Daryl Mastin of London; sisters, Diana Burden and Patsy McBride, both of Mount Olivet; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Robertson County Funeral Home, Mount Olivet. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

John E. 'Buzzy' McCarter, 62, of Grants Lick, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired machinist with Tipco Punch Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Flagg Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons, Scott McCarter of Silver Grove and Todd Bitter of California; daughters, Tami Beatty of California, Connie Schinaman of Cincinnati and Cathy Riggs of Burlington; a sister, Garnet Heitemeier of Butler; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery, Mentor.

Survivors include brothers, Albert McDaniel, Charlie McDaniel, Richard McDaniel and Clarence McDaniel, all of London, and Jack McDaniel of Springfield, Ohio; and sisters, Eva McFadden of London, Ann Morgan of Cincinnati, and Millie Hill and Clara McDaniel, both of Florence.

Opal Irene McFarland, 81, of Williamstown, died Sunday at Grant Manor Health Care Center in Williamstown. She was a homemaker, a member of Florence Methodist Church and the Kenton County Homemakers Club, and was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gallatin County Fish and Game Club. Her husband, Carrell McFarland, died in 1996.

Survivors include daughters, Kay Gosney of Mount Jackson, Va., Bonnie Gentile of Cincinnati and Brenda Joyce Smith of Williamstown; brothers, George King Jr. of Lexington, Donald Ray King of Cynthiana and Joseph L. King of Georgetown; sisters, Viola Robertson of Tampa, Fla., Frances Rook of Corinth and Janet Wagner of Georgetown; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rogers Funeral Home, Corinth. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Columbus Cemetery, Corinth.

LaVeda Marie Rhoten, 84, of Independence, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. She was a homemaker. Her first husband, Lynne J. Green Sr., died in 1932. Her second husband, Edison Rhoten, died in 1988.

Survivors include a son, Lynne J. Green of Independence; a brother, Howard Hockman of Yuma, Ariz.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Morning View. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati. Raymond J. Rymarquis, 83, of Erlanger, died at 3:27 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was a retired printing pressman with J. W. Ford Co., Cincinnati, and a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Anna M. Rymarquis; stepdaughters, Kathleen Hardin of Harrison, Ohio, and Mary M. Baker of Erlanger; and stepsons, David Burnett of Mount Orab, Ohio, and Dennis Burnett of Ludlow.
