Lonnie Ball, 87, of Latonia, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a retired employee of Centralite Co., Cincinnati, a member of American Legion Post No. 203 and Marshall-Schildmeyer VFW Post No. 6095, both in Latonia. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Ball and Sharon Eilers, both of Latonia, Pamela Johnson of Evansville, Ind., and Colleen R. Dallas of Edgewood; five stepchildren; brothers Ray Neely of Indiana and Orville Neely of Texas ; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

John E. Bethel, 68, of Covington, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

Patti Johnson Brinkman, 47, of Fort Wright, died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday at her home after an extended illness. She was a social worker with Harmony Court, Cincinnati, and a member of St. Augustine Church in Covington. She was a member of Holy Cross Alumni Association and Academic Boosters, and was a member of the Recovery group.

Survivors include her husband, Paul J. Brinkman; sons, Michael Brinkman, Jeff Brinkman and Kevin Brinkman, all of Fort Wright; her mother, Eva Mae Elliston Johnson of Covington; and a sister, Sue Johnson of Cincinnati.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Church in Covington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Academic Boosters, in care of Ms. Jami Kues, Holy Cross High School, 3617 Church St., Covington, Ky. 41015.

Sue Atha Brown, 59, of Owenton, died Friday at her home. She was a retired employee of Union Underwear Co., Frankfort, and a member of El Bethel Christian Church in Owenton.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Brown; a son, Tony Wainscott of Owenton; stepsons, Charles Brown, David Brown and Donald Brown, all of Frankfort, and Kenny brown of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Peggy Thomas of Owenton; brothers, Bill Atha and Willard Atha, both of Frankfort, and Ralph Atha of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 208 Steele St., Frankfort, Ky. 40601-2744.

Georgia Louise Fields, 74, of Florence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Ralph Fields, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Sue Robbins of Falmouth, Peggy Mersch of Dry Ridge and Tammy Fields of Burlington; sons, William Fields of Walton and Danny Fields of Dry Ridge; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Gloria A. Forge, 73, of Bellevue, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Wil Forge; daughters, Carol Wuest of Fort Thomas, Sharon Norman of Elsmere, Debbe Wassler of Cincinnati, Karen Terrell of Union, Mimi High of Franklin, Tenn., Terry Schmits, Tammy Butler and Sandy Olliges, all of Bellevue; sons, Mike Forge and Gary Forge, both of Highland Heights; brothers, George Butts of Dayton, Robert Buts of Taylor Mill and Jack Butts of Independence; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Emma Catherine Horn, 71, of Fort Mitchell, died at 5:28 p.m. Saturday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a retired tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service in Covington, a member of Ludlow Christian Church and a former member of Kelly Furnish VFW Post No. 7099 Ladies Auxiliary, Covington. Her husband, Charles Horn, died in 1980. A son, Howard Ray Wilhoite Jr., died in 1968.

Survivors include a son, Steve Horn of Elsmere; daughters, Nancy Rust of Covington, Deborah Smart of Ludlow, Peggy Friedhoff of West Chester, Ohio, and Vicki Hare of Cincinnati; sisters, Lois Bloemer of Covington, Inah Rouse of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Virginia Shumway of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ludlow Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Ludlow Christian Church, P. O. Box 16251, Ludlow, Ky. 41016.

Elbert Hornsby, 80, of Covington, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Covington. He was a retired auto mechanic with Wright Chevron Station in Fort Wright, and was a former truck driver with Shur-Good Biscuit Co., Cincinnati. He was a member of Cincinnati-LaFayette Lodge No. 483 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Conard Hornsby; a half-brother, Rudolph McKeehan of London; and half-sisters, Naomi Akal of Cincinnati and Pauline Ferguson of Worthville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.

Glenn W. Isom, 64, of Butler, died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Grant Manor Health Care Center, Williamstown. He was a retired custodian supervisor with Colonial Cleaners, Independence, and a member of Flagg Springs Baptist Church, California.

Survivors include a son, Glenn Dale Isom of Dry Ridge; sisters, Margaret Terrell of Dayton, Ohio, Sue Grimes of East Bernstadt and Bert Sasser of London; brothers, Grant Isom of Wooster, Ohio, Jimmy Isom of Greenwood, Ind., Kenneth Isom and Robert Isom, both of London, and Walker Isom of Rapid City, S.D.; and three grandchildren.

Services were today at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Burial was in Williamstown Cemetery.

Anna Wood Lang, 86, of Maysville, died at 1:10 a.m. Sunday at Maysville Extended Care Center. She was a member of Haven's Chapel United Methodist Church, Mason County.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Mays Lick. Visitation will begin there at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Washington Baptist Cemetery.

Mary Moore MacDonald, 86, of Florence, died at at 1:10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. She was a retired machine operator with Premier Industries, Covington, and a member of the Dayton Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, David McDonald of Demossville; daughters, Essie White of Erlanger, Billie Buschard of Elsmere and Donna MacDonald of Covington; sisters, Sue Younger of Crittenden and Gladys Curless of Latonia; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Mary Jane Weinel Maggard, 68, of Silver Grove, died at 9:04 p.m. Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Grove. Her husband, Roy Weinel, and a son, John Maggard, both died in 1987. A daughter, Karen Jean Chadwell, died in 1995.

Survivors include a son, James Maggard of Dillsboro, Ind.; daughters, June Miller of Erlanger, Terri Jones and Nancy Burgin, both of Silver Grove, Alice Maggard of Cincinnati, Bonnie Coyle of Gravel Switch, Linda Benke of Phillipsburg, N.J., Donna Shemwell of Centralia, Ill., and JoAnn Sharpe of Phoenix; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Mayme Marie Holbrook Remley; and brothers, Claude Remley of Fort Mitchell and Jack Remley of Florence.
