Survivors include his parents, Robert Tyree and Loretta Jeanette Easterling of Crittenden.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell. Mabel Mae Ellison, 87, of Carrollton, died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. She was a homemaker and a member of First Apostolic Church, Carrollton.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Cecil Ellison; sons, James Devon Ellison of Carrollton and Kenneth Duane Ellison of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Wanda Nicy McDowell and Willa Alice McDaniel, both of Carrollton; brothers, Conrad Kress of Castleton, N.Y., and Ray Kress of Cincinnati; sisters, Elizabeth Wilson and Margaret Owens, both of Greensburg, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Apostolic Church, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight, and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Entombment will be in Carrollton Mausoleum.

Charles Hamilton Jr., 62, of Independence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was owner of Hamilton Tree Service, Independence.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Hamilton; a son, Robby Hamilton of Morning View; a daughter, Kim Griffith of Independence; brothers, James Hamilton of Conway and Paul Hamilton of Berea; sisters, Carolyn Marcum of Columbus, Ohio, Iva Simpson of Berea, Mildred Eden of Madisonville and Barbara Pingelton of Falbush; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Larry W. Hesler, 41, of Maysville, died at 6:06 p.m. Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville. He was the former owner of Larry's Repair Shop in Aberdeen, Ohio, a horse trainer and a member of the American Hackney Association and Maysville Lighthouse Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Hesler; sons, Jamie Ernst, Joshua Hesler and Larry Hesler Jr., all of Maysville; his parents, John and Temple Hesler Jr. of Maysville; brothers, John Hesler III of Mount Olivet, Danny Hesler of Orangeburg and Jesse Hesler of Rectorville; sisters, Jo Ann Dodson of Sardis, Mae Hesler and Brenda Mitchell, both of Maysville; a grandmother, Mary Estep of Mount Olivet; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Maysville. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Maysville.

Richard E. 'Ed' Hitch Sr., 83, of Covington, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Covington. He was a retired automobile mechanic with Farney's Auto Service, Latonia. His wife, Evelyn G. McFarland Hitch, died in 1981.

Survivors include a son, Richard E. Hitch Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; daughters, Janice E. Heeger of Covington, Dianna G. Glaser and Nancy Charlene Powell, both of Independence, Karen F. Irvin of Cincinnati and Faith E. Homberg of Monroe, Mich.; a sister, Maebelle Troutman of Eaton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Blanche M. Henderson Honican, 69, of Independence, died Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Nicholson Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Penny Stull of Crittenden; a son, Chris Honican of Covington; and two grandchildren.

Kentressa Nikea Jones, 12 days, of Elsmere, died Wednesday at Children's Hospital, Cincinnati.

Survivors include her parents, Kenneth and Margaret Jones of Elsmere; brothers, Fabian Jones, Kendall Jones, Brandon Jones, Jeremy Houston and DeAndre Smith; and grandparents, Susie Jones and Hattie Hines. Services were Saturday at First Baptist Church, Elsmere. Burial was in Mary E. Smith Memorial Cemetery, Elsmere. Jones and Simpson Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Ruth V. Ketteler, 86, of Covington, died Saturday at St. Charles Care Center, Fort Wright. She was a retired employee of Citizens Bank, and a member of Notre Dame Academy Alumni Association, Fort Wright Leisure Timers and Crestview Hills Mall Walkers. Her husband, Ralph A. Ketteler, died in 1966. A daughter, Janet B. Meek, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Rev. Ronald M. Ketteler of Crescent Springs and Thomas R. Ketteler of Black Lick, Ohio; a daughter, Ruth Ann Jung of Cincinnati; a brother, Bernard Kampsen of Crescent Springs; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Visitation will begin there at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. Charles Care Center, 500 Farrell Drive, Fort Wright, Ky. 41011. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Billy Gene McDannold, 61, of Floral City, Fla., formerly of Fort Mitchell, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired Covington police officer and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Covington. He was a member of Independence Masonic Lodge No. 123 F&AM, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 164 in Floral City, and the Floral City United Methodist Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred F. McCoy McDannold; a son, David M. McDannold of Harrison, Ohio; his mother, Betty McDannold of Inverness, Fla.; sisters, Jean Hallauer of Spring Hill, Fla., and Hazie Letcher of Crittenden; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Charles E. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, Inverness, Fla., is handling arrangements.

Marilyn Lindsay Miller, 61, of Dry Ridge, died at 7:35 p.m. Friday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. She was a former truck driver and homemaker. Her first husband, Clifford L. Helton Sr., died in 1971. Her second husband, Kenneth E. Miller, died in 1987.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Ice of Zephyrhills, Fla.; sons, Charles Lindsay of Alexandria, Clifford L. Helton Jr. of Berry, Ronald Helton and Wayne Helton, both of Dry Ridge; her mother, Rosemary Ashmann Lindsay of Alexandria; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were this morning at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Burial was in Peach Grove Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Kenneth Albert Pauly, 81, of Bellevue, died Sunday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. He was a self-employed cabinet maker and a member of Holy Spirit Church, Newport.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Church. Visitation will begin there at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Albert W. 'Bill' Piper, 70, of Burlington, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired electrician with Cinergy Corp. and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Boh Hall Piper; stepsons, Ronald Hall of Cincinnati, Lawrence Hall, William Hall and John Hall, all of Florence; a stepdaughter, Dottie Jean Meier of Burlington; brothers, Donald Piper of Tampa, Fla., and Richard Piper of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington. Visitation will be form 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Steven C. Rakel, 44, of Bellevue, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.

Survivors include his wife, Katy Rakel; a son, Edmond Rakel of Columbia; stepsons, Brant Marcey and Jeremy Marcey, both of Latonia; stepdaughters, Carla Marcey of Minnesota and Faith Marcey of Bellevue; his father, Bob Rakel of New Mexico; his mother and stepfather, Jane and Zane Sears of Cincinnati; a brother, Greg Rakel of Wisconsin; and eight step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Linden Grove Cemetery, Covington.

Clarence 'Tub' Rigney, 67, of Ludlow, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was a retired driver with Ryder's Distribution Center, an employee of the Buffalo Club in Ludlow, and a member of First Baptist Church, Ludlow. He was a member of Ludlow Boosters and the Ludlow Hobo Club.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Rigney; a son, Mike Rigney of Ludlow; a daughter, Dale Rigney of Covington; his mother, Girtie Green of Demossville; brothers, J. P. Rigney and Paul Rigney, both of Speedwell, Tenn., Carl Rigney of Demossville, Kenneth Rigney of Fort Wright, Jerry Rigney of Crittenden and Glen Rigney of Evarts; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Ludlow. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Roy S. Romes Sr., 96, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Fort Mitchell, died Friday at his home. He was owner of Roy's Meats in Covington, and a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell ans St. Agnes Church in Fort Wright.

Mr. Romes was a member of Bishop Carrell Council Knights of Columbus No. 702 and Bishop Flaget Assembly Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus; a former treasurer of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Covington; and a former member of Al Kamel No. 10 Caravan of the Alhambra.

His wife, Norma Romes, and son, Fred Romes, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Hardin of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Roy Romes Jr. of Fort Mitchell; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Church, Walton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. William H. Schuh, 93, of Fort Wright, died Friday at St. Charles Care Center in Fort Wright. He was a retired baseball winder with Brunswick Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Mother of God Church, Covington. He was a member of Kehoe Council Knights of Columbus No. 1764, Ludlow. His wife, Velma H. Schuh, died Feb. 19.

Survivors include a sister, Norma Franzen of Florence.

Naomi F. Sexton, 80, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at her home. She was a retired cashier with St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. Her husband, Calvin Sexton, died in 1970. A son, Charles Bacher, died Jan. 8.

Survivors include daughters, Beverly Stephens of Fort Thomas and Janice Sanders of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Robert Bacher of Fort Thomas; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Lee Alexander Staggs, the son of John and Lori Staggs of Butler, was stillborn Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. A brother, Gabriel Owen Christian Staggs, died in 1998.

Other survivors include a brother, Zachary Staggs, at home; and grandparents, Leon and Marcells Bonar of Falmouth, and Jean Moore of Highland Heights.

Esther Sebastian Switzer, 88, of Scottsburg, Ind., formerly of Fort Mitchell, died at 6 p.m. Saturday at Scott Villa Living Center, Scottsburg. She was a former restaurant cook with Town and Country Restaurant, Park Hills, and Village Cafe and Putman's Restaurant, both in Cincinnati. She was a member of Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, Dry Ridge.

Survivors include a son, Dewey Switzer of Butler; daughters, Nancy Minnick of Florence and Elberta Lundy of Scottsburg, Ind.; a brother, Ted Sebastian of Dry Ridge; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Rosa Mae Dringenburg Tanner, 92, of Florence, died Saturday at Florence Park Care Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopeful Lutheran Church, Florence. She was a Sunday school teacher at the church, and was a member of the church Quilters club. Her husband, Louis Clifford Tanner, died in 1988. A daughter, Sara Lou Tanner, died in 1932.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Rouse of Florence; and one grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hopeful Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery.
