Ruby June Bass, 69, of Covington, died Friday at Mount Washington Nursing Home, Cincinnati. She was a waitress and a member of the Hobo Club, Ludlow.

Survivors include daughters, Ruby Hacker of Newport, Janet Said of Lexington and Barb Said and Pat Smith, both of Covington; a sister, Christine Clark of Amelia, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati. Memorials are suggested to Vitas Health Care, 1132 W. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45240.

Icy S. Coffey Bond, 78, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. She was a retired supervisor with Thomas Emery & Sons, Cincinnati, and a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Newport. Her husband, Albert Bond, died in 1969.

Survivors include a son, Clyde Jerry Bond of Fort Thomas; a daughter, Alma Bond Taylor of Fort Thomas; a sister, Dicy Helton of Withamsville, Ohio; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene, Newport. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Ira E. Cart, 99, of Covington, died at 10:44 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington.

Anna Pearl McClain Cottrell, 72, of Williamstown, died at 3:10 a.m. Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Versailles Baptist Church. A son, Duaine Clark, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Charles F. Cottrell; daughters, Gladys Marie Frederick of Williamstown and Darlene Roberts of Ketchikan, Alaska; sons, Gayle Clark of Winchester, Donald Ray Clark of Nicholasville and Charles Cottrell Jr. of Midway; a brother, Bobby McClain of Lexington; sisters, Dorothy Morgeason and Carolyn McNabb, both of Winchester; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.

Regina Mae Fyffe, 31, of Independence, died at 7:25 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was an employee of the Kenton County Health Department. A son, Nicholas Fyffe, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley Fyffe; a son, Larry J. Taylor of Independence; her parents, Homer and Loraine Glass of Independence; brothers, Robert Glass and Daniel Glass, both of Independence, and Jeffery Glass of Erlanger; and sisters, Becky Casullo of Independence and Mary Ellen Stoful of Houston.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075. Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere, is handling arrangements.

Guy B. Hawes Sr., 83, of Ludlow, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a retired maintenance worker with the Internal Revenue Service, Covington, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Reid Hawes; sons, Guy B. Hawes Jr. of Camp Springs and John W. Hawes of Hebron; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Leonard D. Humphrey, 83, of Taylor Mill, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired molder with General Electric in Cincinnati, and a member of Bradford Lodge No. 123, Independence, and Indra Consistory Scottish Rite, Covington. He a Navy veteran of World War II. A daughter, Dorothy Humphreys, died in 1994.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Mae Austin Humphrey; a son, Daniel Lee Humphrey of Sanders; daughters, Delores Webb of Taylor Mill, Barbara Ruttenencutter-Dean of Crescent Springs and Sarah 'Ginny' Lehnhoff of Kettering, Ohio; a brother, Arthur E. Humphrey of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Mildred Mitchner of Blanchester, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial was in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Nellie J. Wever Lape, 94, of Fort Thomas, died Saturday at Highlands of Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue. Daughters, Jean Becker and Shirley Duty, and a son, Robert Lape, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Hettel of Cincinnati; sons, Gerald Lape of Cincinnati and James Lape of Bellevue; 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, with prayers at 7:10 p.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Robert R. Miley, 71, of Ludlow, died at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a retired self-employed truck driver, a member of Ludlow Vets and a Navy veteran of World War II. A son, Joseph Miley, died in 1971.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Henry Miley; sons, Robert E. Miley of Edgewood, David W. Miley of Florence, Terry Miley of Cincinnati, Stephen Miley of Ludlow and Todd Miley of Covington; daughters, Lynda White of Covington, Jayne Stoeckle of Fort Mitchell and Janet Miley of Cincinnati; a sister, Jeanne Breene of Hollywood, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren.

Dorothy B. Mitchell, 81, of Villa Hills, died at 4:18 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker. Daughters, Sheila K. Mitchell and Cheryl J. Ross, died in 1956 and 1991, respectively.

Survivors include her husband, George Thomas Mitchell; sisters, Cora Lee Cobb of Massachusetts and Charlotte Boucher of Washington ; and two grandchildren.

Poole; daughters, Lisa Terrell and Sarah Poole, both of Warsaw; sisters, Betty Bayer and Mary Lou Jones, both of Warsaw, and Joyce Masters of Verona; brothers, Joe Jones of Warsaw and Steve Jones of Valiant, Okla.; two stepsisters, three stepbrothers and three grandchildren.
