Imelda Salter, 87, of Fort Wright, died Tuesday at her home. She was a retired co-owner of Sug-Mel Kennels, Fort Wright. Her husband, Richard Salter, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a cousin.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Elizabeth 'Betty' Stevenson, 87, of Crestview Hills, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. She was a retired buyer with Shillito's Department Store, Cincinnati, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell and Summit Hills Country Club, Edgewood.
Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Stevenson; and a sister, Ann Curry of Cincinnati.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to charity. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

Anna Utz, 78, of Covington, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Robert Utz of Covington and Louis Utz of Atlanta; a daughter, Shirley Utz of Detroit; brothers, Tony Riegelmayer and Joe Riegelmayer, both of Cleveland; sisters, Marie Pamer and Barb Hall, both of Cleveland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

Mollie Johnson, loving mom, grandma
Mollie Johnson taught her children right and wrong using her strong faith in God and stern but loving discipline.
'She was wonderful with the children, and she doted on her grandkids,' said her daughter, Hinda Halderman of Morning View.
A devoted mother, her life was guided by faith, Mrs. Halderman said.
Mrs. Johnson, 84, of Latonia, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home in Latonia. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Covington. Her husband, Orville Johnson, died in 1989.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Clay County. She faithfully attended church services for many years in Hazard before moving to Latonia to be closer to her children. When Mr. Johnson became a deacon of First Baptist Church of Covington, Mrs. Johnson became an active member of the church.
In addition to her faith life, Mrs. Johnson was an avid newspaper reader.
'She couldn't wait to get the paper. She'd go from front page on to the back page,' Mrs. Halderman said.
Her children felt free to talk to her about anything.
'She was one of the best, thoughtful mothers anyone can have. We were always close and could talk to each other,' Mrs. Halderman said.
Her son, Charles A. Johnson, of Latonia, took Mrs. Johnson on many vacations. She once vacationed with her daughter and son-in-law at Lake Cumberland.
Mrs. Johnson spent a lot of time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, including picnicking and shopping.
Other survivors include five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Connley Bros. Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Covington, 14 Brent Spence Square, Covington, Ky. 41011.

Mildred J. Faruolo, 85, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Verona, died Tuesday at her home. She was a member of Boward Performing Arts and Freedom's Foundation in Fort Lauderdale and an avid bowler. She was a three-time New York state bowling champion and a Florida Singles champion. Her husband, Edward M. Faruolo, died in 1983.
Survivors include six step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Baird-Case/Jordan-Fannin Funeral Home, Fort Lauderdale, is handling arrangements.

Gilmer D. Fauber Sr., 84, of Rockbridge County, Va., died Thursday at Veterans Administration Center, Cincinnati. He was a staff manager with Home Beneficial Life Insurance Co. in Virginia and a deacon and Sunday school teacher with Clifton Forge, Va., Baptist Church.
Mr. Fauber was a commander with the Clifton Forge VFW, a past president of the Clifton Forge Lions Club and a member of Clifton Forge Masonic Lodge. He was a past president of the Rockbridge County Ruritan Club and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his son, Gilmer D. Fauber Jr. of Edgewood; brothers, James Fauber and Roy G. Fauber, both of Vesuvius, Va.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Charles L. Fetters, 80, of Camp Verde, Ariz., died March 22 at his residence. He was a retired carpenter and a former employee of the U.S. Forestry Service.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Fetters; a daughter, Cheryl L. Horne of Whitley City; sons, Charles E. Fetters of Highland Heights, Leslie Wayne Fetters and William M. Fetters, both of Camp Verde; a stepson, Thomas E. Thomas M. Hagedorn, 64, of Fort Thomas, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired purchasing agent with Procter & Gamble Co. in Cincinnati and was a member of Newport Central Catholic High School Boosters.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Baker Hagedorn; daughters, Anne Noschang of Amelia, Ohio, Mary Anne Plummer of Woodlawn and Connie Gabbard of Southgate; sons, Tom Hagedorn of Cincinnati, Pat Hagedorn and Mike Hagedorn, both of Fort Thomas; sisters, Mary Egbers of Crescent Springs, Sister Anne Hagedorn of Louisville, Bess Bruns of Cincinnati and Pat Jurgens of Fort Thomas; and nine grandchildren.

Maxwell H. Lawson, 78, of Covington, died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired employee of Interlake Steel, Newport, a member of West Covington Baptist Church and a World War II veteran. His wife, Marguerite Maphet Lawson, died in 1991.

Earl W. Lenhoff, 82, of Erlanger, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired employee of Pennington Rubber Co., Cincinnati. His wife, Edith Asher Lenhoff, died in 1991.
Survivors include a brother, Jim Lenhoff of Fort Mitchell; a sister, Anna Mae Goodall of Norwood, Ohio; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Charles William Nix, 72, of Taylor Mill, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. He was a truck driver with O. K. Trucking Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Latonia Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 345, Latonia. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. His first wife, Glenda Clifford Nix, died in 1991.

Danny M. Perkins, 52, of Owenton, died Wednesday at his home. He was owner of Danny's Service Station, Owenton, and a member of Mussell Shoals Baptist Church, Owenton.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Burrows Perkins; sons, Michael Perkins of Frankfort and Chad Perkins of Georgetown; and a sister, Vickie Neal of Versailles.

John C. Jacobs, retired bank president
John C. Jacobs was the retired president and chairman of the board of First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Covington, a Navy veteran and spiritual man.
"He was a man of great faith," said Mr. Jacobs' wife, Vivian M. Jacobs. The couple would have celebrated 40 years of marriage in August.
"He had a great sense of humor. He was a gentleman's gentleman. If he was your friend, you were very fortunate."
Mr. Jacobs, 74, of Lakeside Park, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Covington.
Mr. Jacobs was a native of Struthers, Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Youngstown State University.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, assigned to submarine service.
Mr. Jacobs retired several years ago from Huntington Bank. He worked a total of 30 years at Huntington and the First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Covington before the financial institutions merged.
Mr. Jacobs also worked 13 years with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in Cincinnati.
He was a past president of the Northern Kentucky Savings and Loan League and a past director of the Kentucky Savings and Loan League.
Mr. Jacobs was a member of the Summit Hills Country Club in Crestview Hills, where he liked to play golf, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell. He also was a member of VFW Post No. 3538 in Struthers, Ohio.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include sisters Mary Jane Jacobs of Oxnard, Calif., and Barbara A. Jacobs of Mentor, Ohio.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Erlanger. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery
in Fort Wright.
