Dill Brock, 62, of Maple Grove School Road, London, Kentucky, died Friday, January 18, 2002, at his residence. He was the son of the late Rosie (Saylor) and Clarence Brock.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Hollin officiating, with burial following in the Locust Grove Cemetery at Keavy. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday, January 21, at the funeral home.

Raymond E. Jarvis
Retired truck driver
Raymond E. Jarvis, 45, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 17, 2002, at his residence.
Born August 114, 1956, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was a retired truck driver and affiliated with the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Jarvis.
Survivors include his parents, Ann (Brown) Jarvis and Arvill Jarvis, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; a daughter, Tracey Jarvis of London, Kentucky; three brothers, Charles Jarvis and Tim Jarvis, both of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, and Jack Jarvis of London, Kentucky; a sister, Linda Vaughn of London, Kentucky; and one grandchild, Dayne Hacker of London, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 20, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Stewart and Marvin Napier officiating.
Burial followed in the C.D. Ward Cemetery at East Bernstadt.

Fred Asher
Apprentice optician
Fred Asher, 63, of School Street, East Bernstadt, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at his residence.
Born December 21, 1938, in Bell County, Kentucky, he was an apprentice optician for Wal-Mart, a 21-year-veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam, and a believer in the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Letta (Sizemore) Asher and Woodrow Asher; and a sister, Bonnie Asher.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Smith) Asher of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; three daughters, Pamela Gayle Collins of Canada, Gwendolyn Jere Kelton of Bay City, Texas , and Angela Trexler of Galveston, Texas ; three step-daughters, Melissa Crawford of Post Falls, Idaho, Lori Guyer of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and Melissa Monson of Blane, Minnesota; a step-son, Michael Evans of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, three brothers, Dan Asher and Richard Asher, both of Beverly, Kentucky, and Robert Asher of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three sisters, Sandy Billingsly, Eva Binder, and Sue Collins, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; four grandchildren, Joseph David Trexler, Christopher Blake Trexler, Mickenzy Asher Trexler, and Autumn Gayle Trexler; and five step-grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Guyer, Rhiannan Crawford, Haley Crawford, and the twins.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at the Beverly Methodist Church in Bell County, Kentucky, with Kenneth Felty and Mike Shannon officiating.
Burial followed in the Asher Cemetery at Red Bird, Kentucky, under the direction of Bowling Funeral Home.

Muriel Cooper

Muriel Cooper, 89, of Morgan Street, London, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London. She was the daughter of the late Lula (Edwards) and Carrak Sevier Edwards, and was preceded in death by her husband, E.M. Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, January 18, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Horse Creek Cemetery in Laurel County.

Ada Martin House

Ada Martin House, 83, of New Bethel Church Road, London, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born May 17, 1918, in Clay County, Kentucky, she was a housewife and member of the Terrells Creek United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Buttrey and Leonard Martin; two sisters, Geneva Philpot and Audrey Seeley; and three brothers, Leander Martin, Herbert Hoover Martin and Robert Franklin Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Matt B. House of London, Kentucky; a daughter, Katherine Vaughn of London, Kentucky; six sons, Glenn House of Hamilton, Ohio, Sam House, G.M. House, Leonard House, Gary House, and Perry House, all of London, Kentucky; four sisters, Gladys Burkhart, Mary Helen Smith, Janie Hammons, and Virginia Westerfield, all of London, Kentucky; a brother, L.P. Martin of London, Kentucky; 21 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, at the London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Reuben Lycans officiating.
Burial will follow in the House Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Brantley, Jason House, Keith House, Kevin House, David House, Dennis Witt, Ronnie House, James Imhoff, Steve House and Scott House.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, January 18, at the London Funeral Home.

Martha Hensley King

Martha Hensley King, 83, of Horseshoe Bend, Hamilton, Ohio, died Monday, Janaury 14, 2002, at the Butler County Care Facility in Hamilton, Ohio.
Born January 3, 1919, in Clay County, Kentucky, she was a housewife, mission field on missionary, and a member of the North Fairfield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Pace and Evel Hensley; her husband, Davis H. King, whom she married on November 6, 1937; three brothers, John Henry Hensley, Fieldon Hensley, and Mose Hensley; three sisters, Margaret Hensley, Ritta Dixon, and Minnie Bowling; and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Babb.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Babb of Hamilton, Ohio, and Linda Dixon of London, Kentucky; a son, Thomas E. King of Florida; a brother, Raymond Hensley of London, Kentucky; a sister, Ethel Long of Lancaster, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Gwen McBee of Iron Mountain, Michigan, Brenda Latanza, Davis Babb, Jeffery Babb and Darlene Oakes, all of Hamilton, Ohio, Martha Dixon and Charles Dixon, both of London, Kentucky; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, at the London Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Furtell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Richmond City Cemetery in Richmond, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Gadd, Eric Gadd, Davis Babb, Jeffery Babb, Alex Latanza, and Tommy Oakes.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday, January 18, at the London Funeral Home.

Floyd Dale Napier, 42, of Highway 1394, East Bernstadt, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at his residence.
Born December 10, 1959, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was self-employed with Bluegrass Steel Erection.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Paul Napier.
Survivors include his mother, Bertha Mae (Burns) Napier of London, Kentucky; his wife, Melody (Robinson) Napier of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; a daughter, Emile Sue Napier of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; a son, Jordan Turner Floyd Napier of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; five sisters, Mary Ann Anderson, Brenda Carol Howard, Patty Sue Tincher, Sandra Lee Wilson, and Pamela Jo York, all of London, Kentucky; six brothers, Dione Napier, Dwayne Napier, Lonnie Napier, Mike Napier, Ronnie Napier, and William Ray Napier, all of London, Kentucky; 20 nephews; and seven nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Boggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
Pallbearers will be Chris Black, Brandon Carr, Jason Howard, Brian Napier, Ronnie Lee Napier, and Tom Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Napier, Eddie Thompson, Lee Roy Tincher, and Dale York.
