PAMELA MITCHELL
Pamela Ann Million Mitchell, 54, of Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
Born March 16, 1956 in Lexington, she was a graphic Designer for Quebecor, a member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church and a member of the Kentucky Basket Association.
Survivors include her husband, Don M. Mitchell of Harrodsburg and her mother, Evelyn Coyle Million of Versailles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Million.
A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday, May 2 at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville. A Celebration of Life service followed, with the Rev. Damon Jones officiating.
PAUL NORRIS
Paul H. Norris, 59, of Hustonville died Monday April 26, 2010.
Born Jan. 24, 1951, in Indianapolis, IN he was a son of the late William and Emogene Criswell Norris.
He was a former retail manager.
Survivors include: his wife, Michele Windsor Norris; two sons, Jason Norris of Cincinnati, OH and Paul M. Norris of Hustonville; two daughters, Kristen Smith of Harrodsburg and Andrea Windsor of Stanford; four grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Cain of Liberty; and three brothers, Richard Norris of Danville, Randy and Carl Norris, both of Cincinnati.
Services were conducted Friday, April 30, at the Bartle Funeral Home in Liberty.
DEBORAH O’NAN
Deborah H. O’Nan, 52, of Harrodsburg died Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
She was born Sept. 14, 1957 in Lebanon, and was the daughter of Betty Lou Sagrecy Hardin and the late Lee Roy Hardin. She was an employee of American Greeting and a member of the Ellers Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband James O’Nan, Jr.; her mother, Lou Sagrecy Hardin; one step-daughter, Robin O’Nan and one step-son, Jimmy O’Nan, both of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Walter Hardin of Jeffersonville and Raymond (Kim) Hardin of Liberty; four sisters, Peggy (Connie) Phillips of Harrodsburg, Carolyn (Joe) Carrier of Winchester, Brenda Peavler of Mackville and Missy (Adam Chumbley) Hardin of Harrodsburg; two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty and Doug Hardin.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 30 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Whitehouse officiating. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery
with Jeff Phillips, Josh Noel, Johnathan Hardin, Jimmy O’Nan, Adam McIver and Adam Chumbley serving as pallbearers.
ELIZABETH RAWLINGS
Elizabeth Ann Rawlings, 84, of Harrodsburg, widow of Paul Rawlings, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Nov. 1, 1925 in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Elizabeth Thomas Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include; two sons, Billy Lewis (Garnetta) Rawlings of Harrodsburg and Johnny Lynn (Patty) Rawlings of Harrodsburg; one sister, Patsy Mitchell of Midway; one brother, Tommy Roberts of Nicholasville; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Rawlings.
Funeral services were held Monday, may 3, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Robert Defoor, Wayne Spivey and Brad King officiating. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Buddy Shirley, Chris Rawlings, Danny Rawlings, Tim Russell, Billy Dunaway, and Larry S. Camic. Honorary pallbearers were: Paula Russell, Julie Rawlings, Stephanie Rawlings, Beth Russell, Allison Rawlings, Emily Rawlings, Kelsey Stephens, Teagan Rawlings, Chesney Rawlings, Ricky Burns, Mercer Co. Adult Daycare and Heritage Hospice Staff.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage hospice or Mercer Co. Adult Daycare.
CHARLES RUSSELL
Charles Russell, Jr., 83, of Mackville, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born on July 12, 1926 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Kate Carpenter Russell. He was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: his wife, Sue Hardin Russell; a son, Charles (Debbie) Russell, III of Mackville; a daughter, Robby Sue (Brad) Robinson of Burgin; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Violet Faye Warner of Harrodsburg and Dorothy Wallace of Louisville.
Preceding him in death were four sisters, Christine Russell, Wanda Lindsey, Geneva Warfield and Irene Bledsoe and four brothers, Marvin Russell; Willie A. Russell, Sr.; G. W. Russell and J. M. Russell.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, may 4 at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Rev. J. W. Hatfield and Rev. Doug Davis officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery
at Willisburg where full military rites were conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Serving as pallbearers were: Jeff Harmon, Todd Hardin, Roger Cheser, Chuck Russell, Kevin Riley And Travis Gay.
Carey and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
NANCY WAGGENER
Nancy L. Waggener, 79, of Burgin, wife of Guilford Waggener, died Friday, April 30, 2010 at her home.
Born in Chicago to the late John A. and Elizabeth (Elliott) Mayo, she was a retired teacher for the Burgin Independent Schools and a member of the Burgin Baptist Church where she was the 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, Assistant Clerk and G. A. Leader. She was also a member of the Ann Harrod Department of the Women’s Club, Zeta Tau Alpha at the University of Louisville, Kentucky Education Association, National Education Association and Burgin Education Association president.
Survivors in addition to her husband include; three daughters, Mary Anna (Paul) Welch, Jeanette (Steve) Peyton of and Ruth Elizabeth (Jeff) Loane, all of Mercer County; one son, William Howard (Lisa) Waggener of Burgin; a sister, Elizabeth M. Blincoe of Park Hills and a brother; John S. Mayo of Morehead; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Waggener and a sister, Helen Grace Klapheke.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4 at the Burgin Baptist Church by Carl McCray. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Joshua Waggoner, Daniel Loane, Jason Peyton, Ryan Welch, Justin Welch, Kelly Peyton and Ericka Wagener. Honorary bearers were: Jill Bryant, Tonya Hinkle, Ray Welch, Gloria Welch, Zach Welch, Maggie Bryant, Junior Hinkle, Lane French, Levi French and Justin Waggener.

WARNER WILLIAMS
Warner Howard Williams, 86, of Russellville, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Simpson County, on July 2, 1923, he was the son of the late Willie P. and Mary Hinton Williams. He was a Field Supervisor for Kentucky Artificial Breeders Association, a United States Marine Corp. WWII Veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church of Russellville.
Survivors include: his wife, Rose M. Williams; five sons: Warner H Williams of Lakeland, FL; Alan W. Williams of Houston, TX; Joseph E. Williams of Bowling Green; Thomas P. Williams of Verona, NJ; Robert “Bob” Williams of Harrodsburg; one brother, W. P. Williams of Russellville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia L. Mayfield and Mary Sue Kemp.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1 at First Baptist Church of Russellville with Bro. Buddy Crabtree officiating. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery
where Masonic Rites and military Honors were conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Russellville.
Pallbearers were: Mickey Meguiar, Gene Gooch, Buford Devasier, Sammy Christmas, Gish Arnold, Jim Thomason, Al Arney and Bob Motsinger.
JACK ALSEPT
Jack R. Alsept, 64 of Berea, died Thursday April 29, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Mt. Sterling to the late McClellan and Lillian Alsept. He was employed by Toyota in Georgetown and was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Alsept; one daughter Kimberly Alsept (Gary) Gard; one son Eric (Tammy) Alsept; one step-daughter Karen (Keith) Lamb; one step-son Eddie Wilson; one grandson one step-grandson and one step-granddaughter; six sisters, Wilma, Marlene, Darlene, Carolyn, Shirley, Karen and two brothers Ray and David.
Funeral services were held Saturday May 8 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Owens officiating.
Contributions may be made to Hospice in his memory.
MARY BAILEY
Mary Frances Bailey, 91, of Shelbyville, died Saturday May 8, 2010 at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was a member of Simpsonville Baptist Church and had worked as a secretary with the Shelby County Extension Office.
Survivors include her husband, Everett Leslie “Les” Bailey of Shelbyville; son, Gary (Patsy) Bailey of Harrodsburg; daughter, Karen (Jesse) Walters of Augusta, GA; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service were held Tuesday May 11 at the Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville with Rev. Steve Boyd officiating. Burial was in the Grove Hill Cemetery
in Shelbyville.

LILLIE BOBLITT
Lillie Mae Boblitt, 100, widow of Paul Boblitt, died Friday May 7, 2010 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born September 13, 1909 in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Barber Crouch. She was a former Grocery Store Owner and Homemaker. Mrs. Boblitt was a member of the Non-Denominational Christian Fellowship and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her son P. H. Boblitt of Harrodsburg, one brother Walter Crouch of Owingsville, and two sisters: Ada Marie Crouch and Ruby Crouch both of Owingsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Greg Harger and Charlie Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery
with Doug Wilson, Marvin Crouch, Clarence Crouch, Jim Crouch, Dan Perry, Jim Klaty, Geoff Crouch, Tim Klaty and Brad Klaty serving as pallbearers.

JOHN BRITTON
John Matthew “Snake” Britton, 69, of Burgin, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at his home.
Born Feb. 13, 1941 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Jack and Lina (Dykes) Britton. He was an Army veteran of the Vietname War. He was Kentucky Utilities maintenance personnel.
Survivors include: his wife: Simonetta (Muncie) Britton, two daughters: Tallallea “Tina” Brown of Burgin and Tarena (Mike) Ransdell of Salvisa; two sons, Richard N. Adams of Nicholasville and Anthony (Trish) Britton of Lexington; 10 grandchildren three great -grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Margie Ballinger.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Billy Sanders.

MARY FUELL
Mary Jo Fuell, 66, of Harrodsburg, widow of James Taylor Fuell, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born June 25, 1943 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Riker and Mary Will (Gardener) Warner. She was an associate at Disney World and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Three daughters, Debbie (David) Whittinghill of Harrodsburg, Sandy Roberts of FL and Ginger Walker of Lexington; a son, Jimmy Dale Fuell of FL; one sister: Joyce Robinson of Harrodsburg, nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Goodloe and Jackie Warner and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, May 14 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with James Harley and Hillary Claypool officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Kendall Ross, Ronnie Thornton, Steve Carrier, Larry Goodman, Darrell Robinson and Jacob Robinson.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
