Loving husband and father

COTEAU - Services for Michael "Booger" Joseph Boudreaux Jr., 22, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, with the Rev. Matthew Higginbotham officiating. Interment will be in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor cemetery in Coteau.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. today until the time of services, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the David Funeral Home - New Iberia North.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Coteau, Mr. Boudreaux died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in Lafayette.

He worked as a machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Landry Boudreaux of Coteau; mother, Debbie Boudreaux Cockerhan of Maurice; two daughters, Sadie Beihl of Loreauville and Brittlyn Boudreaux of New Iberia; one son, Braylon Boudreaux of New Iberia; two sisters, Angel B. Juneau of New Iberia and Gypsey Laviolette of New Iberia; maternal grandmother, Clara G. Romero of St. Martinville; paternal grandmother, Edna Touchet of Jefferson Island; step-father Charles Cockerhan of Maurice; and god child, McKinley Laviolette of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph Boudreaux Sr.; paternal grandfather, Joseph Boudreaux; and maternal grandfather, Matthew J. Romero.

Pallbearers will be Todd Bourque, Donald Dore, Butch Gary, Chad Gary, Shawn Juneau, Brian Landry, Terry LeBlanc, Gerald Romero and Stoney Romero.

Honorary pallbearers will by Braylon Boudreaux, Brittlyn Boudreaux and McKinley Laviolette.

The David Funeral Home - New Iberia North, 1101 Trotter St. (369-6336) is in charge of arrangements.

Dalton Dominic Broussard

DELCAMBRE - Services for Dalton Dominic Broussard, 79, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Voorhies officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today, with a 4 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Delcambre, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

A resident of Delcambre, Mr. Broussard died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at an Abbeville Hospital.

The Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre is in charge of arrangements.

Aspasie R. Comeaux

Services for Aspasie R. Comeaux, 81, will begin noon Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, with the Rev. Mike Guidry officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Family cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus J. Comeaux.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Thomas Comeaux; her daughter, Roseann C. Kracke; her son-in-law Henry Kracke Sr.; her grandson, Henry Kracke Jr., his wife, Wendy and their daughters, Tricia and Amanda; her granddaughter, Pauline Champagne, her husband, Michael Champagne Jr., and their daughter, Morgan; her grandson, Peter Kracke; and her grandson Thomas Kracke and his wife Tessy.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200, Lafayette, La., 70503.

Services are pending for Junius Davis, who died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000 at his residence in New Iberia.

Gary Joseph Horton Sr.

Loving husband, father and grandfather

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Gary Joseph Horton Sr., 53, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes, with the Reverends Thomas Edappady, Tony Ronsanet Sr. and Harris Burch officiating. Interment will be in the St. Elizabeth cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. today until the time of services, with a 7 p.m. rosary today.

A native of St. Martinville and a resident of Coteau Holmes, Mr. Horton died at 6:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his residence.

Mr. Horton worked for Cleve Frederick & Son for seven years before going to work for G & A Contractors.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Bourque Horton of Coteau Holmes; mother, Mrs. Thelma Arnaud Horton of Coteau Holmes; two sons, Gary J. Horton Jr. and Kim Horton, both of Coteau Holmes; six brothers, Monroe Horton Sr., Carol Horton Sr., Johnny Horton Sr., Thomas Horton Sr., all of Coteau Holmes, Russell Horton of New Iberia and Rufus Horton Jr. of Seminole, Ala.; two sisters, Charlene Horton Richard of Coteau Holmes and Yvonne Horton Bergeron of Loreauville; and three grandchildren, Myra Horton, Kimber Horton, and Gaby Horton, all of Coteau Holmes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Horton Sr.; sister, Loretta Horton; paternal grandparents, Sidney and Anita Toffier Horton Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Bertha Robin Arnaud.

Pallbearers will by Gary Horton Jr., Kim Horton, Monroe Horton Sr., Carol Horton Sr., Russell Horton, Johnny Horton Sr., Thomas Horton Sr. and Rufus Horton Sr.

Services are pending for Katrina Rankin, 21, who died at 4:54 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2000, at her residence following a sudden illness.

Whitney J. Bourque Sr.

Loving husband, father

FRANKLIN - Services for Whitney Junius Bourque Sr., 66, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary with Rev. Bill Crumley officiating. Internment will be in St. Peter's cemetery in New Iberia.

Visitation will be held today from 6-10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the funeral home, which will reopen from 8 a.m. Monday until the time of services.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Franklin, Mr. Bourque died at 7:25 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Dauterive Hospital.

Mr. Bourque served in the National Guard of Louisiana and was in the United States Army Reserve.

Mr. Bourque is survived by his wife, Florence Picard Bourque of Franklin; three sons, Whitney Junius Bourque Jr., Charles Ray Bourque Sr., both of Franklin, and Brian Joseph Waguespack of Epps; one daughter, Melissa Marie Bourque Patty of Natchez, Miss.; five step-daughters, Judy Cranche of Jeanerette, Brenda Sanders of Dallas, Martha Martin of West Monroe, Debra Smith of Oak Grove, and Florence Broussard of New Iberia; one brother, Sidney Bourque of Franklin; two sisters Oriella Callais of Franklin, and Lydia Champagne of St. Martinville; 21 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Bourque; his mother, Zowel Landry Bourque; and one grandson Norman "Dukie" Hebert Jr.

Services are pending for Marian Davis, 85, who died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Dauterive Hospital following a brief illness.

Shirley J. Dupas

Loving mother

FRANKLIN - Services for Mrs. Shirley J. Dupas, 68, the former Shirley M. Jack will be held today at 8 p.m. at Triune Church of God in Christ with Elder Charles C. Watkins Sr. officiating. Internment will be in St. Jules cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. today until the time of services.

A native of Franklin, Mrs. Dupas died at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Mrs. Dupas is survived by eight sons, Gaston Dupas Jr. of Killeen, Texas, Michael Dupas, Darryl Dupas, Carl Dupas, David Dupas, Christopher Dupas, Gerald Dupas and Gary Dupas, all of Franklin; six daughters, Dianne Dupas of Lafayette, Faye Dupas Riley, Alice E. Dupas, Linda J. Dupas and Sharon M. Dupas, all of Franklin and Patricia D. Mitchell of Baldwin; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and one brother.

Leatha John

Services are pending for Leatha John, 76, who died at 4:53 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Azalea Villa Nursing Center.

A.G. "Buddy" Nauck III

World War II veteran

LAFAYETTE - Services for A.G. "Buddy" Nauck III, 76, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. Monsignor Richard von Phul Mouton officiating. Internment will be in the Memorial Park cemetery in New Iberia.

Visitation will be from noon until 10 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at the Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette, which will reopen Monday at 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette for 44 years, Mr. Nauck died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at the Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mr. Nauck served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and prior to his retirement was employed for 31 years by Prudential as a manager. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic community.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Fortier Nauck of Lafayette; two daughters, Jackie Begnaud of Lafayette and Alison Doyle and her husband Randy of Shenandoah, Texas; three sons, Al Nauck IV and his wife Debbie, of Southlake, Texas, Glenn Nauck of Conroe, Texas and Don Nauck of Baton Rouge; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Doyle of Houston.

Mr. Nauck was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Nauck Jr. formerly of Beaumont, Texas and Emma Bourg Nauck formerly of New Iberia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2500 Johnson St., Lafayette, La. 70503.

Pallbearers will be Randy Doyle, Tim Begnaud, Jeff Begnaud, Jonathan Nauck, Blaine Nauck and Carol Gravois.

Inez S. Perrin

Loving mother and grandmother

Services for Mrs. Inez Perrin, 87, the former Inez Segura, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jude Halphen officiating. Entombment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be today from 3:30-9:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Funeral Home in New Iberia, which will reopen Monday at 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Iberia Parish, resident of Slidell and former resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Perrin, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at her daughters residence in LaCombe.

Mrs. Perrin owned and operated a retail clothing store in New Iberia.

She was survived by three daughters, Reid P. Mire of Gretna, Dolores P. Rouly of LaCombe Gay P. Willie of Slidell; and her sister, Marie Ann Duos of Ville Platte.

Mrs. Perrin was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Reid Perrin; her father Jackson Segura; and her mother Mercedes Bonin Segura.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Jimmie A. Savoy

Loving son and brother

JEANERETTE - Services for Jimmie A. Savoy, 49, were held Saturday at St. John cemetery.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Savoy died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.

Mr. Savoy was employed as an office clerk at the St. Mary Coop.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Camille of New Iberia; two brothers, Larry Savoy of New Iberia and Mark Savoy of Jeanerette.

Mr. Savoy was preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Savoy; his mother, Mable Derise Savoy and one sister, Lee Ann Savoy Rodriguez.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.

Yvonne A. Sliman

Services are pending for Mrs. Theodore "Teddy" Sliman Sr., 82, the former Yvonne Ashy who died at 7:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Consolata Nursing Home.

Mary H. Fox

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Mary Hybernia Fox, 78, who died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Abbeville following a lengthy illness. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Fla., at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2000.

Miss Fox is survived by one brother, Edward L. Fox of Missouri City, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Cammie Fox of Delcambre, and Dorothy C. Fox of Missouri City, Texas; two nephews, Preston Fox of Houston, and David M. Fox of Missouri City, Texas; one niece, Donna F. Fortner of Huntersville, N.C.; two great nieces, one great nephew, one great-great-niece, and three great-great-nephews.

Miss Fox was preceded in death by her parents, David O. Fox Sr. and Daisy B. Godwin Fox; and two brothers, David O. Fox Jr. and Robert G. Fox.
