Beloved son and brother

Services for Demarko Bernard, 4, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home with the Rev. Green officiating. Interment will be in St. Matthew cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Demarko died an accidental death at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at a New Iberia residence.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald Foster and Amanda Bernard , both of New Iberia; two brothers, Antonio and Bryson Bernard, both of New Iberia; two sisters, Antoinenna Bernard of New Iberia, and Tallya Foster of St. Martinville; his maternal grandparents, Andrewa and Charles "Fried Chicken" Bernard Sr.; and his paternal grandfather, Mr. Green.

Demarko was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lillian Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Journet and Bolden Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Eva Delle F. Benoit

CARENCRO - Services for Mrs. Waverly Benoit, 65, the former Eva Delle Forestier, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Downs officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at Melancon Funeral Home, which will reopen from 8 a.m. until the time of services Monday.

Mrs. Benoit died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro is in charge of arrangements.

Ollie "Blondie" Randall

Services are pending for Ollie "Blondie" Randall, 57, who died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Iberia Medical Center.

Annette S. Bourg

Loving mother and grandmother

BALDWIN - Services for Annette Bourg, 90, the former Annette Stansbury, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Russo officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday with a 10 a.m. rosary at the church.

A native of Jeanerette and a resident of Baldwin for the last 58 years, Mrs. Bourg died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin.

She is survived by three sons, Macky Bourg of Berwick, Jerry Bourg of Baldwin, and Larry Bourg of Franklin; one daughter, Fay Bourg Latiolais of Baldwin; one sister, Effie Cortes of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bourg was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Bourg; her parents, Augustus and Euffimie Broussard Stansbury; and her brothers and sisters.

Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.

Darryl J. Derouen

Loving husband and father

LAKE CHARLES - Services for Darryl James Derouen, 58, will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be in Consolata cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today with an 8 p.m. scripture service at Johnson Funeral Home, which will reopen Friday from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

A native of New Iberia, a resident of Lake Charles for most of his life, and a resident of Moss Lake in Carlyss for the past two years, Mr. Derouen died at 12:29 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at his residence.

Mr. Derouen was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School and a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of W.B. Williamson American Legion Post 1. Mr. Derouen retired from Condea Vista-VMC Plant, where he worked as an instrument leadman.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Frost Derouen of Carlyss; his son, Dennis Alan Derouen of Baton Rouge; his daughter, Cynthia Derouen Guillory of Lake Charles; one brother, Mark Derouen of New Iberia; three sisters, Brenda Raimer of Lake Charles, and Sharon Nunez and Charlotte Breaux, both of New Iberia; and four grandchildren.

Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles is in charge of arrangements.

Wilfred Dore

YOUNGSVILLE - Services for Wilfred Dore, 84, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. today until 10 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary service, at David Funeral Home of Youngsville, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday until 1:30 p.m.

A lifelong resident of Youngsville, Mr. Dore died at 12:19 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Julius Campbell Jr.

Loving father and brother

ABBEVILLE - Services for Julius Campbell Jr., 63, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian K. Stevenson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery in Gross Isle.

Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. today at Fletcher Funeral Home, which will reopen Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until the time of services.

A resident of Abbeville for many years, Mr. Campbell died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Campbell was a member of Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia L. Campbell of Abbeville; five sons, Clarence James Wilson, Ivory John and Jamal Joseph Campbell, all of Abbeville, and Chris Donnell and Roger Campbell, both of Houston; six daughters, Phyllis Levine, Ester Marie Wilson, Marvette Lynn Campbell, Clothile Cretta Campbell and Valorie Denise Campbell, all of Abbeville, and Patrice Campbell Kirksey of Houston; seven brothers, Clifton, John, Donald, Eugene, Johnny and Robert Campbell, all of Abbeville, and Larry Smith of New Iberia; five sisters, Earlene Nunez, Lilly Mae Lewis, Stella Verette, Margarette C. Washington and Charlene Campbell, all of Abbeville; 18 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Robella L. Langlinais

Loving wife, mother

ERATH - Services for Mrs. Curlis John Langlinais, 67, the former Robella LeBlanc, will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.

Visitation will be until 10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Funeral Home, which will reopen Tuesday from 8-9:45 a.m.

A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Langlinais died at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mrs. Langlinais was an educator in Vermilion and Iberia Parish for 20 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Altar Society. She was a board member and served on the committee for Women for Farm Bureau. Mrs. Langlinais also served as a eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting for her grandchildren. She married Mr. Curlis Langlinais on Aug. 30, 1953, and was married to him for 47 years.

She is survived by her husband, Curlis John Langlinais of Erath; her mother, Ursule Bares LeBlanc of Erath; four sons, Kevin and Anthony "Tony" Langlinais, both of Erath, Jerome Langlinais of Natchez, Miss., and Randall Langlinais of St. Martinville; one daughter, Nelwyn Langlinais Soirez of Erath; four grandsons, Jeremy and Brennan Soirez, both of Erath, and Jeric and Paden Langlinais, both of Erath; four granddaughters, Jenna Soirez of Erath, Taylor and Paige Langlinais, both of Natchez, Miss., and Brooke Langlinais of St. Martinville; one step-grandchild, Morgan Adams of Erath; one brother, Leo LeBlanc of Erath; and two sisters, Emma Lou Bailey of New Iberia, and Lena Gayle Alleman of Erath.

Mrs. Langlinais was preceded in death by her father, Dudley Leopald LeBlanc; and her brother, Irby LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Kevin, Jerome, Anthony "Tony" and Randall Langlinais, Michael Soirez and Michael Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeric and Paden Langlinais, and Brennan and Jeremy Soirez.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1030 E. St. Mary St., Lafayette, La. 70503, 1-800-227-2345.

Services are pending for Michael Hebert, 56, who died at 1:05 a.m. today, Jan. 12, 2000, at a New Iberia hospital.

Loving wife, devoted mother

LOREAUVILLE - Services for Louise "Lou" Olivier, 76, the former Louise Simon, will begin at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with the Rev. John Choorackunnel officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7-9:30 a.m. today at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia.

A resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Olivier died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Iberia Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Olivier was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Olivier of Loreauville; one daughter, Elise Olivier of Loreauville; four sisters, Irene Comeaux, Mary Knatt, Beatrice Mitchell and Cora Mae Jacob, all of Loreauville; two grandchildren, Roland Jeanlouis and Sherman Green; two great-grandchildren, Christopher James and Mariah Nicole Jeanlouis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Olivier was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Simon Sr. and Azalie F. Simon; her daughter, Virgie Olivier; two brothers, Lawrence "Lamb" and Joe Simon Jr.; and six sisters, Francis Simon, Cecile S. Carrier, Annie Mae S. Bonhomme, Mary Louise "Jolly" S. Brown, Alzea "Tee-Tay" S. Mitchell and Cecile Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Williams, Max Schnider, John Calvin Broussard, Percy Guillory, Albert Guidry and Murphy Olivier.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the immediate family.

Gertrude G. Ransonet

LOREAUVILLE - Services for Mrs. Lawrence Ransonet, 91, the former Gertrude Gondran, will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Thevis officiating. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday with an 11 a.m. rosary at David Funeral Home.

A native of Loreauville and a resident of Opelousas, Mrs. Ransonet died at 3 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000, at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas.

Mrs. Ransonet was a bookkeeper for LaSalette Hospital for 17 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed reading and was an Atlanta Braves fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ransonet Farrar of Opelousas; two sisters, Cora Gondran of Lafayette, and Clara Kern of Metairie; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ransonet was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ransonet; her parents, Gaston Gondran Sr. and Eugenie Dauterive Gondran; three brothers; and five sisters.

Services are pending for Cora Plaisance, 86, who died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at Consolata Nursing Home.

Forest A. Crouchet

Services for Forest Anthony Crouchet, 98, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Guidry officiating. Entombment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services with an 11 a.m. rosary at the funeral home.

A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Crouchet died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at a New Iberia hospital.

Mr. Crouchet was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Hebert Crouchet of New Iberia; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marnell) Hebert of New Iberia; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Nikki Hebert, both of Lafayette.

Mr. Crouchet was preceded in death by his parents, Michel and Cecelia Molbert Crouchet; two brothers, Johnny and Venial Crouchet; and one sister, Irene Reynes.
