FRANKLIN - Services for Emilies Picard Hebert, 67, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Michael Russo officiating. Interment will be in the Perpetual Park cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary, at Ibert's Chapel, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

A native and lifelong resident of Franklin, Mrs. Hebert died at 6:10 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Dauterive Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Hebert Sr. of Franklin; two sons, Leroy Hebert Jr. of Brandon, Miss., and Joey Hebert of Franklin; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Moore of Franklin and Keely Carline of New Iberia; one sister, Rena Faye Young of Centerville; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Picard; mother, Eve Baudoin Picard; and brother, Arlen Picard.

Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.

Abbi Lynn Lopez

DELCAMBRE - Services for Abbi Lynn Lopez, 2 days old, will begin at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jean Marie Jammes officiating.

Interment will be in the Our Lady of the Lake cemetery.

Visitation was Friday at the Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia, and will continue at 8 a.m. today.

Abbi died at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000, at a Lafayette hospital.

She is survived by her parents, Joey "Poncho" and Jamie Bertrand Lopez of New Iberia; her paternal grandparents, Ulysse P. and Barbara Babin Lopez of New Iberia; maternal grandparents, James Donald "Jimmy" and Jerrylyn Durio Bertrand of Cypress Island; three aunts, Jody Chevalon, Michelle Vallot and Sheila Landry; and one uncle, Jimmy Bertrand.

The Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Edwin Frick

Services for Joseph Edwin Frick, 78, were Saturday at Evangeline Funeral Home, with Deacon Ron Borel officiating. Interment was in the Holy Family Mausoeum with military graveside services conducted by the Veterans of Foreigan Wars Post No. 1982 Honor Guard.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Frick died at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Mr. Frick was employed by LaSalle Oil & Gas for nearly 50 years as a bookkeeper. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3425 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Brunell Champagne Sims of Fort Worth; one grandson, Karl Matthew Sims, and his wife, Deborah; one granddaughter, Karen Strange; and six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Julia and Jason Sims, and Katie, Harrison and Charles McCook.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Frick; parents, Rudolph Albert and Edwina Bodin Frick; and two brothers, his twin, John Frick, and Rudy Frick.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of New Iberia, P.O. Box 218, Loreauville, La., 70552.

Pallbearers were Karl Sims, Jerry Bernos, Karl Alleman, Ricky Bayon and Jordan Sims.

Howard J. Rattliff

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Howard Joseph Rattliff, will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Michael cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Rattliff died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.

Larry K. Robinson

Loving father, grandfather

Services for Larry Keith "LaLa" Robinson, 50, will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at David Funeral Home Chapel North, Trotter Street, with the Rev. Ted Broussard officiating. Entombment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at the funeral home, which will reopen Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Pampa, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Robinson died at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, following an automobile accident on I-49 in Carencro.

Mr. Robinson was a main banker at Grand Casino Coushatta. He was an avid golfer, still holding the course record at Sugar Oaks Country Club, and was a member of Squirrel Run Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Landry Robinson of New Iberia; his father, Roland Keith Robinson of Pampa, Texas; his mother, Gladys "Pat" Johnson Heard of Jennings; one son, William David Robinson of New Iberia; two daughters, Mrs. Klint (Brooke Robinson) Leon of Scott, and Erin Anne Robinson of New Iberia; two brothers, Fredy and Steve Robinson, both of New Iberia; three sisters, Paula Heard of Austin, Texas, Mrs. Buddy (Kaye) Shushan of New Orleans, and Mrs. Jude (Debbie) Sittig of Iota; two grandsons, Brent Joseph Alleman Jr. and Konner Michael Leon, both of Scott; and two granddaughters, Lauren Elizabeth Alleman of Scott, and Kallie Nicole Robinson of New Iberia.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Heard.

Pallbearers will be Shanie Dugas, Jeffrey Landry, Klint Leon, Fredy and William Robinson, and Jude Sittig.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Landry, and Christopher, Fredy Mack, Jeremy and Steve Robinson.

Services for Joseph Edwin Frick, 78, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ron Borel officiating. Entombment was in the Holy Family Mausoleum with military graveside services conducted by the VFW Post 1982 Honor Guard.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Frick died at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Mr. Frick was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Frick; his second wife, Sophie Doty Boudreaux Frick; his parents, Rudolph Albert and Edwina Bodin Frick; and two brothers, his twin brother, John Frick, and Rudy Frick.

Pallbearers were Karl and Jordan Sims, Jerry Bernos, Karl Alleman and Ricky Rayon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Association of New Iberia, P.O. Box 218, Loreauville, La. 70552.

Stella L. Leleux

Services for Mrs. Lelier J. Leleux, 87, the former Stella Litteral, will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with the Rev. Jude Halphen officiating. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 2-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Funeral Home North, Trotter Street, which will reopen Wednesday from 8-11 a.m.

A native of Iota and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Leleux died at 9:10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2000, at Dauterive Hospital.

Mrs. Leleux was a member of the Cowbelles Association of New Iberia and was a past president of the New Iberia Home Demonstration Club.

She is survived by her husband, Lelier J. Leleux of New Iberia; three daughters, Mrs. David (Paula Leleux) Benoit and Mrs. Bobby (Carolyn Leleux) Broussard, both of New Iberia, and Mrs. Francis (Judy Pourciau) Mestayer of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Lowell "LS" Litteral of Tacoma, Wash., and D.B. Litteral Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Jeanette Litteral Theriot of Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her devoted caregivers, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Leleux was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel B. and Nancy Toliver Litteral; her son, Loren V. Pourciau Sr.; five brothers, Everette, Frank, Toliver "Dutch," Warney and Glenn Litteral Sr.; four sisters, Edith Litteral Broussard, Margie Litteral Lavergne, Alma Litteral and Ada Litteral Threadgill; her grandchild, Janet Mary Pourciau; and her great-grandchild, Brandi Delcambre.

Pallbearers will be Bradley and Jason Broussard, Mark Mestayer, and Greg, Patrick and Loren Pourciau Jr.

Laurie R. Ready

LAFAYETTE - Services for Laurie Renee' Ready, 21, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Monsignor Glen Provost, pastor, officiating. Musical selections were "On Eagles Wings," "Prayer of St. Francis," "Amazing Grace" and "Be Not Afraid." Interment was in Fountain Memorial Gardens.

A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Ready died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2000.

Mrs. Ready attended Fatima School and graduated from St. Thomas More High School in 1996. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in special education, and was enrolled at Southwest Louisiana Community College.

She is survived by her parents, William "Pat" and Deborah Laperouse Ready of Lafayette; two brothers, Patrick and Drew Ready, both of Lafayette; one sister, Elizabeth Ready of Lafayette; her maternal grandparents, James Laperouse and Clara Judice, both of New Iberia; and her paternal grandmother, Maxine Ready of Lafayette.

Pallbearers were Dillon Domingue, David Abshire, Jeremy Sonnier, Sam Parich III, Foster Hale and Will Spinks.

Marcus A. Templeton

Services for Marcus Alton Templeton, 20, will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Jude Halphen and Deacon L.J. Freyou officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today with a 7:15 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of New Iberia for 20 years, Marcus died Tuesday, July 18, 2000.

Marcus was a 1998 outstanding graduate of Catholic High School and was a recipient of the Who's Who of American High School Students. He was attending LSU and was a pledge marshal for Sigma Nu Fraternity. He attended many leadership conferences in Baton Rouge and Michigan and was a member of the Blind Outdoor Leisure Development.

He is survived by his parents, Perry and Cathy Gonsoulin Templeton of New Iberia; two brothers, Parker A. and Steven P. Templeton; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lester (Mary Porter) Gonsoulin of New Iberia.

Marcus was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lester A. Gonsoulin Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Frances Roberts and Ollie Alton Templeton.

Pallbearers will be Ben Allums, Patrick Dauterive, Eric Fayard, Ronald Fremin, Nick Fouquier, Chris Genard, Richie Haik, Sam James, Dan Spiller and Stephen Peltier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Catholic High Endowment Fund, 1301 De LaSalle Drive, New Iberia, La. 70560, and/or to B.O.L.D. (Blind Outdoor Leadership Development) c/o Janet Bernhardt Blanco, 620 Dodson St., New Iberia, La. 70560.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Adley Joseph Bernard, 61, will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with the Rev. Kenneth Bienvenu officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael's cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard Post 133 of Breaux Bridge.

Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Bernard died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mr. Bernard was retired from Amoco Production Co. as an internal auditor and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the St. Martinville Lions Club and the American Legion of Parks.

He is survived by his mother, Burna Robicheaux Bernard of St. Martinville; two brothers, Garland Bernard of Lafayette, and Godfrey Bernard Jr. of Broussard; one sister, Mrs. Larry (Dale) Bourque of St. Martinville; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bernard was preceded in death by his father, Godfrey Joseph Bernard Sr.

Pallbearers will be Sandy J., Barton and David Bernard, Doug and Bryan Bourque, and Robert Bienvenu Jr.

A native of LeBlanc community in Vermilion Parish and a resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Delcambre died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2000, at Abbeville General Hospital in Abbeville.

Mrs. Delcambre was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society and the Women of Woodcraft of Delcambre.

She is survived by her husband, Euda Delcambre of Delcambre; her son, Oneil Brent Delcambre, and his wife, Constance Rodriguez, of Abbeville; her daughter, Catherine D. Strother of Delcambre; three grandchildren, Schuyler D. Poche', Britlyn D. Trahan and Amanda A. Strother; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Caroline Poche'; and five brothers, Otis LeBlanc of Groves, Texas, Opta "Black" LeBlanc of Erath, L.J. LeBlanc of Delcambre, Mayo LeBlanc of Bridge City, Texas, and Chester LeBlanc of Abbeville.

Mrs. Delcambre was preceded in death by her parents, Oneil and Elina Reaux LeBlanc; three brothers, Aliba, Obeal and Ovey LeBlanc; and one sister, Odeal LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be family members.
