Services are pending for Eric R. Gray Sr., 38, who died at 8:34 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, upon arrival at Iberia Medical Center.

Aline B. Dore

Loving mother, grandmother

Services for Mrs. Oris P. Dore, 79, the former Aline Broussard, will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jude Halphen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Funeral Home North, Trotter St., which will reopen Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Patoutville and a resident of Greenwood at the time of her death, Mrs. Dore died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at Willis Knighton North Medical Center in Shreveport.

Mrs. Dore was the former co-owner of Oris P. Dore Grocery and was a cafeteria worker at Center St. High School and Robert S. Pesson Elementary School.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Dore of Shreveport; her daughter, Mrs. Ray (Patsy) Romero of New Iberia; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews from New Iberia and Lafayette.

Mrs. Dore was preceded in death by her husband, Oris P. Dore; her parents, Robert and Olampe Bourgeois Broussard; her son, Horace P. Dore; and her brother, Henderson Dorsey.

Pallbearers will be Chris, Eric, Greg, Michael and Ronald Dore, and Robert Romero.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eloi, Harold, Ned and Ted Dore, Dr. Russell Romero, Ray Romero and Pete Thibodeaux.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Earl J. Rouly

Services are pending for Earl Joseph Rouly, 73, who died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, in Lafayette.

Mr. Rouly was a native of Port Arthur, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia.

Carol Broussard Sr.

Services are pending for Carol E. Broussard Sr., 72, who died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at IHS Heritage Manor North Nursing Home.

Teeny P. Barton

Loving wife and mother

Services for Mrs. Ralph Barton, the former Teeny Perry, will begin at 4 p.m. today at David Funeral Home Parlor with the Rev. Steven LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in Beau Pre Memorial Park cemetery in Jeanerette.

Visitation will be today from 3 p.m. until service time at David Funeral Home, Trotter Street.

A native of Franklin and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Barton died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2000, at her residence.

Mrs. Barton was a housewife and loved gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Barton of New Iberia; one daughter, Marilyn Barton Douglas of Corpus Christi, Texas; two granddaughters, Christina Douglas of Dallas and Mekelle Douglas of Fort Worth, Texas; one grandson, Joey Douglas of Corpus Christi, Texas; and one son-in-law, Joe Douglas of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lucy Faso Perry; five sisters, Annie Guzzino, Lena Morella, Philena and Rosie Perry and Mary Pope; and three brothers, Joe, Johnny and Tony Perry.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Joseph S. Legnon

Joseph Shelly Legnon, 68, a native of Jeanerette and a resident of Mountain View, Calif., died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, in Hanford, Calif., after a short battle with lung cancer.

Mr. Legnon always had a pot of food on the stove for anyone who stopped by his home.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and his children, Yetta, Joseph, Kevin and Rashell.

Lawrence Lopez

Services are pending for Mr. Lawrence Lopez, 76, who died at 7:02 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at his residence.

Memorial services for Roberta Williamson Clifton, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Anne Sutton officiating.

A native of Shreveport and a resident of New Iberia for seven years, Mrs. Clifton died Friday, July 21, 2000, at her residence following a brief illness.

Services are pending for Mabel Ruppert Delcambre Golden, 85, who died today, Aug. 9, 2000, at her residence.

BROUSSARD - Services are pending for Betty Sue Phillips, 60, a Lafayette resident, who died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Medical Center of Southwest Hospital in Lafayette.

Ruth T. Grant

Retired school teacher

Services for Mrs. Francis Weir Grant, 86, the former Ruth Tilly, will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at David Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Guy Lemoine officiating. Entombment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at David Funeral Home.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Grant died at 4:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mrs. Grant graduated from SLI and received her master's degree from LSU in French. She was a retired school teacher , who taught French and English at LSU and in the public school systems in Shreveport, Alexandria, Mandeville and Covington. She was affiliated with CODOFIL and she enjoyed Cajun storytelling. Mrs. Grant helped to develop teaching materials for the French language to teach children. She was very proud of the revived interest in the French language and culture in Louisiana and for the language to be preserved.

She is survived by two sons, John Grant of Lafayette, and Ward Grant of Dallas; one daughter, Sharon Grant Wildwind of Calgary Alberta, Canada; one brother, John Tilly of New Iberia; one grandson, Matthew J. Grant of Lafayette; two granddaughters, Sara Grant Broussard and Catherine M. Grant, both of Lafayette; and one great-granddaughter, Emilie Marie Broussard of Lafayette.

Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Weir Grant; her parents, Laurent and Emily Greig Tilly; her brother, Ward Tilly; and her sister, Irma Tilly Singer.

Services are pending for Eddie Nelson, 65, a Jeanerette resident, who died at 7 a.m. today, Aug. 15, 2000, at Iberia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Michael W. Greenlee

Loving son

Services for Michael Wayne Greenlee, 22, will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at David Funeral Home Downtown, Iberia St., with the Rev. Andrew Hebert officiating.

Visitation will be until 10 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will reopen Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., and a resident of Lydia, Mr. Greenlee died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in Lydia.

He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Greenlee of Lydia; three brothers, Joseph A., Phillip D. and William M. Greenlee, all of Lydia; four sisters, Dorothy Clark of Slaughter, Jo Ann "Jodie" and Shannon Greenlee, both of Lydia, and Shirley "GeGe" Greenlee of St. Paul, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Greenlee was preceded in death by his father, William Duane Greenlee; and his brother, Robert E. Greenlee.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Boutte died at 11:02 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at a Lafayette hospital.

He is survived by his brother, Kevin Boutte of New Iberia; and his sister, Rachel Lynn Fages of Broussard.

Mr. Boutte was preceded in death by his parents, Elton Paul and Joyce Dozier Boutte.

Pallbearers will be Raymond and Timothy Creighton, Jerry Gerard, Corey Camacho, Chris Fages and Chad Boutte.

Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Boutte.
