SANDERS
LAPLACE - Shirley Ann Bernard Sanders, 47, resident of LaPlace and native of New Orleans, died Nov. 10, 1999. She was the mother of Chantel and Gilbert Sanders Jr.
She was also the daugter of Ulyssess Bernard Jr. and Gertie J. Bernard and the sister of James Sr., Gerie Mae, Albert, Helen, Lawrence, Gwendolyn Bernard, Clara Robertson, Audry August and Cyntha Bernard Waite.
She is survived by three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Travelers B.C. in Reserve, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery
in Lions.
TREGLE
RACELAND - Landry "Poucky" Tregle Jr., 60, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Des Allemands, died Nov. 10, 1999. He was the father of Nekki Schicksnyder and Baron Tregle.
He was also the son of Rosemary Tregle and the late Landry Tregle Sr. and brother of Melazie Martindale, Wesley Tregle and the late Norton Tregle.
He is also survived by two grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 12 in the chapel of Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, with interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands.
ABADIE
PAULINA - Lauren Elizabeth Abadie, 7, a native and resident of Paulina, died Nov. 7, 1999. She was the daughter of Jeffrey and Geri Bienvenu Abadie and sister of Joshua, Luke, Micah and Mark Abadie.
She was also the grandchild of Julius and Thelma Abadie and Geraldine and the late Carlin Bienvenu. She was also the great-granddaughter of Ada Rodrigue.
Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum.
CLEMENT
LAPLACE - Lawrence "L.J." Clement Jr., 66, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Nov. 6, 1999. He was the husband of Martha Clement. He was also the son of the late Lawrence and Simone Clement and brother of Marion Prudhomme, Fay Ann Marse, Lilly Mae and Dwight Sr., Daniel and the late Harold Clement.
Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.
FORET
LUTCHER - Thomas J. "Buster" Foret III, 79, a native and resident of Lutcher, died Nov. 4, 1999. He was the husband of 59 years of Thelma Roussel Foret and father of Carolyn "Caro" Stephens, Jacquelyn Melancon, Peggy Harrington, Colette Brignac and Rebecca, Kenneth "Wop," Richard "Footy," Ellis "Elka" and the late Thomas Foret IV.
He was also the son of the late Thomas and Yvonne Bourgeois Foret and brother of Yvonne Pavy, Lorraine Larose and Lynn, Gerald, Dan, Eugene and Dr. James Foret. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum.
JONES
RIVER RIDGE - Lloyd Leroy "Pork Chop" Jones, 67, a native and resident of St. Rose, died Nov. 3, 1999. He was the husband of Jean Price Jones and father of Joyce Christie and Myron and Darrius Jones.
He was the son of the late Robert and Eula Mae Jones and the brother of William Jones.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 9 in the chapel of Richardson Funeral Home, River Ridge, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.
NORRIS
JACKSON, Miss. - John Marshall Norris, 75, a native of Bude, Miss., and a resident of LaPlace, died Nov. 1, 1999. He was the husband of Bettye Jane Norris and father of Susan Patton and John T. Norris. He was also the brother of Betty Jean Clark and James, Sammie, Jimmy, Jerry, Jessie, Joseph, Judius, Jehhel and Jacob Norris.
He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 5 in the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home, Jackson , Miss.
RIZZUTO
NEW ORLEANS - Catherine Mule' Rizzuto, 85, a native of Norco and resident of Metairie, died Nov. 7, 1999. She was the wife of the late Sebastian Rizzuto and mother of Catherine Yenni and Melchione Raymond Rizzuto.
She was also the daughter of the late Calogero and Maria Gulotta Mule and sister of Margaret Portera, Rose Zummo, Mary Stipelcovich, Faye Suppardo, Marie Mancuso, the late Josephine Mancuso and Jack, Peter and Mikel Mule'.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of All Faiths Funeral Home, New Orleans, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation starts at 8:30 a.m.
SCHEXNAYDER
ALGIERS - Roy F. Schexnayder, 78, a native of LaPlace and a resident of Algiers for 25 years, died Nov. 6, 1999. He was the husband of Marie Keller Schexnayder and father of Tammy Bergeron, Sharon Myshrall, Janelle Pomes and Michael, Kim and Matthew Schexnayder.
He was also the son of the late Ozeme and Maria Haydel Schexnayder and brother of Enid Boe and the late Ceola Walker and Nolan Schexnayder.
He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Algiers, with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park.
WILLETT
MARRERO - Pamela C. Willett, 46, a native of Paradis and a resident of Marrero, died Nov. 2, 1999. She was the wife of Michael Willett Sr. and mother of Amy Mendoza, Heidi Calderon and Michael Willett Jr.
She was also the daughter of the late Howard and Geraldine Dufrene Callais and sister of Dawn Dempster and Byron Noto.
She is also survived by one grandchild.
Services were held Nov. 8 in the chapel of Davis Mortuary, Marrero, with interment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale.
BATISTE
DESTREHAN - Judy Sharon Batiste, 57, a native and resident of New Sarpy, died Jan. 29, 1999. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Fletcher Batiste and sister of Joan Broussard, Joyce Lane, Jerry Holmes, Barbara Brown, Elaine Carter, Sarah Linda Batiste, and the late Helen Fontenot and Leona Turner.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 10a.m.
BOUDREAUX
PARADIS - Ernest "Limbo" Joseph Boudreaux, 71, a native and resident of Paradis, died Feb. 2, 1999. He was the husband of Doris Penny Boudreaux andfather of Myrna Rome and Marcia Kreamer.
He was also the son of the late Forrest and Eva Ponville Boudreaux and brother of Forrest Boudreaux, Enzie Ponecai and Alvina Toups.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Feb. 5 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.
