JACK ROBERTSON
AMITE -- Jack Robertson, 74, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite.
A native of Roseland, he is survived by nine sons, Jack Henry, Gilbert Vernon, Dale Robertson, Freddy Bland, Frank O'Neil, Lennie James, Davie Lee Robertson, Moses Robertson and Jacob Robertson; eight daughters, Ophelia Greene, Virginia Robertson, Marilyn Robertson, Isabell Robertson, Shenese Giles, Adele Robertson, Alice Raiborn and Jacqueline Wheeler; four sisters, Francis Watson, Mary Alice Bacon, Willistine Newman and Classie Hart Spears; and three brothers, Jimmy Cooper, Henry Brown, Lightening Robertson and T.C. Robertson Jr.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Alice and T.C. Robertson; his father, Henry Watson; two sons, his former wife, Annie Bell Cage; two brothers and one sister.
The Rev. Clarence Cage conducted the funeral Nov. 19 at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite.
Burial was at Mount Canaan Cemetery.
HELEN GRACE BAHM
COVINGTON -- Helen Grace Bahm died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington.
She is survived by her daughter, Deanna McDowell of Covington; a grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, T.C. Grace; her second husband, Wallace Bahm; and two brothers.
Visitation was Friday at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Eric Latham, and burial was in Amite Memorial Gardens in Amite.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Sharon Baptist Church at 57370 state highway 445 in Husser, 70442.
HOLLAND CHAMBERS
INDEPENDENCE -- Holland Chambers, 67, died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at his home in Independence.
He was a native of Amite and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was employed as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hill Chambers of Independence; a son, Brad K. Chambers of Killian; a sister, Edna Sweeney of Tallahassee, Fla.; three brothers, Leon Chambers of Sweetwater, Joe Chambers of River Ridge and Wilbert Chambers of Amite; and numerous nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace L. and Edna B. Chambers; a brother, Byron S. Chambers; and two nieces.
Visitation was on Saturday, at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., when the religious services were conducted by Bro. Thomas Jourdan.
Burial followed in Loranger Cemetery
in Loranger.
DOUG COLLINS
Doug Collins, 39, a resident of Hammond, died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident in Amite.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Johnson Collins of Hammond; two sons, Robert Collins of Hammond and Cody Johnson of Watson; a daughter, Brittany Johnson of Watson; his parents, Allen and Doris McLendon Collins, of Hammond; a brother, Michael Collins of Hammond; two sisters, Melinda Collins of Hammond and Jody Raye Collins of LaMirada, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hyo Kyong Collins.
Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home in Hammond from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. with the burial to follow in Parklawn Cemetery
in Hammond.
ROY FRANCIS CUCCHIARA
Roy Francis Cucchiara, 89, died at North Oaks Medical Center on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004.
Cucchiara, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a native of Independence and a resident of Hammond. He owned Roy's Pharmacy for 45 years until his retirement. He was a 1934 graduate of Loyola University School of Pharmacy and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2952, of Hammond.
Visitation will be on Monday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until the religious services at 10 a.m., when the Mass of Christian burial will be performed by the Dominican Fathers.
Burial will follow in Rose Memorial Cemetery
Mausoleum.
He is survived by three sons, Roy Cucchiara Jr., of Jackson ville, Fla.; Paul Cucchiara of Hammond; Richard Cucchiara of Mobile, Ala.; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Claire Giannobile Cucchiara; his parents, Peter and Camillia Thomas Cucchiara; and four brothers, Bennie, Frank, Mario and Charles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to North Oaks Hospice, at P.O. Box 2668, Hammond, LA, 70404.
RALPH LEE GATZMAN
BOGALUSA -- Ralph Lee Gatzman, 81, died at his home in Bogalusa on Friday, Nov. 26, 2004.
During World War II, he was captured by the Germans and held as a prisoner of war. He served in the Army Air Corps 8th Air Force as a Tech Sergeant.
Gatzman was retired from the Bogalusa Papermill and was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church and its Rosary Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, fourth degree. He was also a member of the Jeans & Queens square dance club.
Gatzman volunteered as a Scout master for the Boy Scouts of America for 11 years.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Gatzman; his son, Ralph "Bill" Gatzman of Laurel, Miss.; his three daughters, Lorenda Sheryl Joseph of Hammond; Phyliss Lynn Ruble of Pensacola, Fla.; Margaret "Margie" Jones of Tickfaw; his stepchildren, Tom Pittman of Denham Springs; Theresa Zeller of Walker; a brother, W.C. Gatzman of Bogalusa; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Imogene Parker Gatzman; and his parents, William and Beulah Gatzman.
Visitation was on Friday at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.
Father Lawrence Phelps conducted the funeral on Saturday.
Burial followed in Ponemah.
DANIEL McCASKILL
COVINGTON -- Daniel McCaskill, 53, died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
McCaskill was a native and resident of Covington.
He is survived by his sister, Alice Casborn of New Orleans and a brother, Albert McCaskill Jr., of Covington.
Visitation will be on Monday, at 10 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Covington, until the funeral, which will be at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in White Settlement Cemetery.
RICHARD "RICK" PERRILLOUX
PONCHATOULA -- Richard Rick Perrilloux, 48, died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero.
He was a native and resident of Ponchatoula.
Survivors include his son, John Eric Perrilloux of Ponchatoula; a grandson; his parents, Ranson Perrilloux of Bedico and Lucille Johnson Perrilloux of Ponchatoula; his grandmother, Cassie "Kitty" Settoon of Ponchatoula; three sisters, Mindy Cota of Ponchatoula, Theresa Foulk of Ponchatoula, and Ethel Adams, of Conroe, Texas ; four brothers, Charles Perrilloux of Metairie, Michael Perrilloux Sr., of Robert, Albert Perrilloux and Jessie Perrilloux, both of Ponchatoula.
He was preceded in death by a grandson and two brothers, Pete and Kenny Perrilloux.
Visitation was at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Saturday, and again today, from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.

MEGHAN ALYSE RESTER
LORANGER -- Meghan Alyse Rester, 10, a fifth-grade student at Loranger Middle School, died on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans as the result of a car accident.
She was a native and a resident of Loranger.
She is survived by her parents, Michael "Mike" and Marie "Weegie" Saragusa Rester of Loranger; her brother, Ryan Rester; her grandparents, Louis and Christine Downs Saragusa Sr., of Independence; three uncles and two aunts.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jack Rester, and her grandmother, Evelyn Gore Rester Baham.
Visitation will be on Monday, at 4 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery.
